Spike woke up at the sound of his best friend passing and got downstairs.
“Twilight? What time is it? Are you over working again?”
“Why shouldn´t I?"
"Because I´m sleeping?"
"It´s just................I don´t understand"
"I´m sure whatever it is, we can solve it"
"It´s uncomplete, Spike"
"Huh?"
"The book about Draconequi" She levitated it to his face and went to the last page to find written:

There was a small silence between the two.Spike thought for a second that Twilight was right, something was up about that book and it really WAS important but, then, he remembered that his legs and claws hurt a lot and yawned.
"Relax, Twi, and keep it down.This cuteness isn´t natural, ya know"
The lavender unicorn took a deep breath as she always did when she needed to calm down.Then, she smiled and put a hoof on the dragon´s back "Yes, yes it is"
Suddenly, a bright magenta light went through the windows.
"What is that?"
They got out of the house to see Twilight´s and Shining´s cutie mark, a pink star with six loose ends, being projected from deep within the Everfree.

It had been one week since Shining Armor had gone off to the forest and it seemed like he wasn´t going out anytime soon.
"I have to go" The young mare said, determined
"But...."
"Hey, I´ll be fine, I promise"
She did a cross around her heart and put her hoof in her left eye.
"I will come back to you" They shared a quick hug before running off.He ran home, she ran to save their family.
The Sign led her to a terrifing castle that towered over her.She could´ve sworn she saw that castle before.She knocked the door several times before entering through the hole her brother made.
"SHINING ARMOR!" The mare called.
She kept walking until she heard a noise "Huh? Shining?" She spotted two yellow eyes with red pupils and gasped; the purple girl could´ve sworn those eyes were sparkling and staring to her soul.It took her a while to react again "E-excuse me, I´m looking for my brother"
"Really?" A male voice answered and Twilight found herself shivering "The brave knight has to be saved by his baby sister?"
For the way he was talking, Twilight could tell he was mocking her "I´m not a baby, I´m nineteen.Where is he?"
"Follow me"
Suddenly, the lights came on and she could see................. "You´re a draconequus" Twilight Sparkle was awestruck.
"And you´re a pony.Let´s get this over with"
As they climbed up the stairs, Discord couldn´t help but notice how beautiful she was.Her coat was the perfect shade of lavender; her short, flowing hair looked soft and, everytime they looked at eachother in the eye, he could´ve sworn he felt a spark.Finally, they went to the dungeon.
"SHINY!" She cried, rushing to her relative
"Twily!" He called back as he sliped his whooves through the metal bars.
"He didn´t hurt you Did he?"
He shattered for a moment.Twilight looked at him in confusión; seeing her brother like this broke her heart "I´ve been through worse"
After a few seconds, the unicorn mare turned around and looked at the draconequus.Normally, she´ll be asking him all sorts of questions but now, a more important matter was at hoof.
"Well?"
"What?"
"Aren´t you going to reléase him?"
"When did I say that?"
"But........."
"Oh, look at the time, sorry my dear but visit time it´s over, come back next week and..........."
"RELEASE HIM!"
Discord was shocked at her talking in such a loud tone and there again were those beautiful dark purple eyes trying to destroy his insides, this time with fury and sadness.But that wasn´t enough to stop him, he used to be the Lord of Chaos and he knew how to put up a good fight.
"In exchange of....?"
Twilight thought about it.What could she give to him that he already didn´t had? He was a draconequus, he could get anything and anyone with a snap of his fingers or tail............Wait, anyONE? That´s it! She could.............NO, she couldn´t do that.But What else COULD she do?
"I change myself for him"
"Huh?" Both males were confused of what she had said.
"Take me"
"NO!" Shining Armor cried "I WON´T LET YOU DO THAT!"
"You´re not my father.Besides, coming back is the only way you get to see Candy again"
"And then I lose you!"
"Well, I............"
"DONE! She stays, you go" The creature interrupted them.He opened the cage and flew out the window despite the royal guard´s complaints.
Outside, there was a carriage, he got him inside it and the carriage started moving on its own throught the forest and towards the pony kingdom.Twilight Sparkle began to cry.
When the draconequus came back, he felt something inside him twich, he couldn´t stand seen her cry.
"I didn´t even get to say goodbye to him"
"I..................The castle´s your home now.You can go wherever and do whatever, except going to my room, that´s forbiden"
"´Kay."
He cleared his throat "Dinner´s at eight.Either you come or you don´t eat"
"Fair enough"
with that, he flew off.
At eight, the unicorn got down.Her eyes were red and she seemed like she had trouble moving.She´ve been crying for hours.
The table shone as if it was made of pure gold and was covered with various dishes.Anything and everything, as long as it was edible, was there.The mare picked up some cucumber slices and started eating while looking around. In the other end of the table, the owner of the castle was getting done with his third plate.
"Are you eating...........Paper?"
"Want some?"
"No thanks"
"Suit yourself"
There was an awkard silence between the two.Discord contempling the mare´s beauty all the while.And she just looking at him, confused and intrigued. Finally, the draconequus sighed
"You find me..................Terrifing Don´t you?"
"What? No! " He was shocked to hear that and motioned for her to go on "Well, first of all, I live with a dragon.You can´t get any creepier than that.Second of all, I actually find you quite fascinating"
"R-really?" He wasn´t sure how to react to this.They were both blushing red now.
"I-I mean.I thought draconequi were no more and, acording to the books I read, you posses insanely powerful magic.You can summon anything and anyone whenever and wherever and..............."
"I did Didn´t I?" He looked at the ceiling, as if he was recalling a dear memory.
"Wait YOU LOST THEM?!" Now Twilight was stunned "But HOW?! Magic can´t be destroyed or created just changed.IT´S CIENTIFICLY IMPOSSIBLE! IT DOESN´T MAKE ANY SENSE!"
"What fun is there in making sense?" He asked as he smirked, the first smile she had seen on him since the night began.She found she liked seeing him smile "NONE! That´s what!
The puple mare groaned.Her eyes were shooting fire at him.Not literally, figuratively, of course.He felt trapped, looking at the fury in those dark purple gems.He couldn´t look away "That´s so stupid!"
He raised an eyebrow and his smile disapeared "EXCUSE ME?! A girl of your............Position.Should not insult a drace on mine"
Now Twilight was more curious than ever and Discord found that he liked the glimmer of curiosity in her eyes.The desire of knowing the unknown and peeking for answers and knowledge instead of power "Position?"
"I-AM-DIS-CORD.Master of all things chaos.Lord of this land.Ruler and leader of the draconequi"
"REALLY?!" She smiled the widest and bigest smile she had ever smiled.Someone to interview! Direct information! A witness of society past! Gold on her whooves! "OH MY GOSH! I............"
"That reminds me.You haven´t told me your name"
"Oh, right.Twilight Sparkle.Charmed"
The rest of the dinner came and went with nothing more than a few questions from Twilight and little to no answer from Discord.Eventually, they both got done with their food and the unicorn went upstairs.It took her a while to find a place to sleep in as every door opened to reveal nonesense; each one worse than the one before.She ended up lying down on a poll full of baloons.She hardly got any sleep that night, in fact, she spent a lot of time looking at the walls and ceiling, which had rainbows painted all over them.
All throught the night, only one phrase passed throught her mind: What have I done?
