chapter3: friend or foe?


The scary beast known as jack stood 3 times your high and was ready for battle. “Why jack?” you ask. “Jack is gone. I am the beast that has taken his body as my own!” the beast replies. Its mouth isn’t moving. Instead it is talking to you through your thoughts. “I know exactly what you’re going to do, and it won’t work! I already ruined your plan to run out the door. The door has been locked shut.” It was right. The door has been locked shut! “Now I shall take your body! Like I did with your friend!” the beast bends down and grabs you with his big spikey hand. It is crushing you with his giant hand and you hear a loud popping sound. Your bone has penetrated the skin and you are losing blood fast. As well as being crushed, you are in intense pain from the broken bone.

The door smashes open and a unicorn comes in. the beast lets you go and instantly goes for the unicorn. The unicorn uses intense magic powers and pushes the beast through the roof of the house and across the wreckage. You blackout.

You wake up several hours later with the same unicorn staring at you. You get up and look at your leg. Your leg is not broken anymore. “Are you all right?” asks the unicorn. “Yes I’m fine. Who are you?” you ask. “I’m twilight sparkle.” she replies. She has no look of evil to her so you decide to trust her for now. “There is a forest to the north from here. If we can get through there, I can perform an old magic power allowing us to get back home” she says.

After a little while of walking and running, you finally make in to the forest entrance but something is guarding the entrance.
