I was woken up by a bright flash. I checked the clock. 6 A.M. I looked at Bon Bon, who was still fast asleep. I quietly got out of bed to investigate. I looked towards Myth's couch, and, he wasn't there. Okay, let me fill you in. Yesterday, he showed off his portal, which worked, or as he said, although he didn't go through it. When the portal is turned on... agh, this is too hard to explain, I'll just draw a quick picture. Note that it won't be 'art'.
There, those streaks appear when turned on (thanks to TheFablequestria for uploading my image). Anyways, back to the story. The portal was still there, and on it, was a sticky note. I took the note and read it. I'm sorry, but I have to go. You guys can't see me anymore. I went back to the human world and I'm staying there. I shut off the portal, and there's no way what so ever that let's me come back. Thanks for taking care of me.
For some reason, the note seemed fishy. I walked around the room, searching for any trace of Myth. I had a feeling he hadn't really left to Earth forever. I looked at the side of his couch. It was really dark, but I could see a slightly different color beside the couch. I used a light spell, and my horn emitted light. There, was a pony, holding up her hoof, shielding her face from the light. The pony looked an awful lot familiar.
Do you know why? You should've guessed it by now. The pony looked like Myth. "Go away!" Said Myth, or, what seemed to be him.
"What.. happened?" I looked him over. He wasn't a he anymore..
"I don't wanna talk about it.."
"Come on, explain yourself."
"Do I even have a choice...?" She mumbled to herself. "I was way too eager to test out my portal. I woke up and did just that. Only problem is, when I came back from the portal, I.. this happened."
"You're a mare.."
"Ya think? I'm really not enjoying myself.."
"Well, you're a pretty good looking mare."
"I don't care! I wanna be myself again!! Besides, how will your marefriend react when she sees me!?"
"Marefriend??" I smirked. "Bons will probably just be surprised or worried for a bit. Nothing serious."
"Well, I used to be a stallion, now I'm a mare, and this is going to affect me deeply."
"Well, until we fix this... if it's fixable... no more testing, okay?"
"Whatever. Wait, how's this going to affect me if I go through the portal aga-" He then mumbled to himself.
"No. More. Testing. Now get some rest, we have like 3 hours until we wake up."
"Fine, but it's gonna take me a while to sleep. This is uncomfortable.. I mean the changes..."
"I know what you mean. It's obvious that there's changes. Just try your best to sleep." I walked back to me and Bons room to sleep.
I was woken up by the sound of Bon Bon screaming for a moment. I kind of wanted to laugh, but I didn't. I walked to the living room, where Bon Bon was looking at Myth. Bon Bon had her eyes wide open. "Lyra... what happened??"
"Gender swap." I shrugged. "The portal did it."
"She jumped when she saw me." Myth smirked.
"Well, is it normal to see a pony that looks like a stranger In your home!?"
"Calm down Bon. He- she's not a stranger."
"Lyra, this is what happens when you bring something.. or anypony... home."
"It was bound to happen anyways."
"If you two are done chatting, I'd like to eat now." Myth said. Bon Bon sighed.
"Fine." We sat at the table and started to eat.
"I'll go ask Twi for help."
"Who's Twi?" Asked Myth.
"Princess Twilight Sparkle, a friend of mine."
"You're friends with a princess!?"
"Yeah?"
"But aren't Princessess always busy and stuff?"
"Sometimes. Myth, you're coming with me."
"Aw.." We finished eating and me and Myth prepared to leave.
"See ya later Bons!"
"Bye.." Me and Myth were walking towards Twilight's castle.
"So.. what's it like to have a princess as a friend?"
"Well.. there's not really any difference between a princess friend and a normal friend."
"Really?" We soon arrived at the castle doors. I knocked again, and Fluttershy answered.
"Oh, um, hey Lyra. Whose this?"
"Hey Fluttershy. This is Myth Wanderer, a friend. Can I please speak to Twilight?"
"Oh, hello. I'll go check." She flew back inside. Twilight came out.
"What do you wa- whose this?" Myth bowed down. "Oh.. heheh.. you don't need to.."
"Oh, um, sorry. I'm Myth Wanderer."
"You actually went to Griffinclaw!?"
"Duh. And that wizard? He's just a stallion that was alone."
"Well, where is he?"
"She." I corrected. "He got turned into a she. She said she went through her portal, and when she came out, she was a mare."
"Portal?" Twilight asked, puzzled.
"A portal to the human world.." Myth mumbled.
"The only portal got destroyed." Twilight looked at me.
"No no no, we're talking about the actual human world."
"Well, I can't really help you.."
"Oh please please please help make me normal again!" Myth grabbed onto Twilight's shoulders and pleaded.
"Woah.. uhm.. I- I don't know.. I could do a gender swap spell, although it would be temporary."
"Aw.."
"I don't know how to, I'm sorry. I'll look into it, though. If I find anything, I'll tell you guys." She put a hoof on Myth's shoulders.
"Well.. bye I guess?" Twilight went back inside, closing the doors, and leaving us two at the door.
"Let's head home.." Myth didn't want to be a mare. I don't know if there's a way to cure hi- her.. but for now, she'll just have to deal with it.
