A few days later…
I was finishing a lesson with Sharple and walked out to the command center. Nightmare Moon still had no idea and I alerted the Griffin Empire about Nightmare’s return. They set up a blockade and we managed to rally remaining Equestrian Loyalists. However, there weren’t that many since families of those loyalists were being threaten. Duran and his commando squad had departed yesterday to retrieve the Elder Scroll. The Mane 6 was being threatened as well, leaving them out of the game. I also heard that Celestia was sealed into the sun while Luna was sealed into the moon, leaving only Charming and Twilight into the dungeons. I had to rescue them but I’ve been experiencing my own dark problems. The seal I had in my chest seemed to be weakening, my dark evil self was awakening from stasis for many years.
“Please give me some good news…”
Grievous reported “We managed to stay hidden from the Nightmare Empire. They can’t find out base since it is so well hidden from the world.”
“Good, we need to rescue Charming Thunder.”
Grievous asked “How will we do that?”
“I’ll lead a rescue with Dusk, Sharple, you, Soundwave, and Proxy. We need to act fast before Nightmare discovers we have entered.”
Grievous nods and we began to head to the hanger bay.
“Is Trypticon hidden?”
Grievous replied “Yes, we had established contact with him and his cloaking devise is hiding him from the Nightmare Empire.”
I nodded with approval and we continue heading the hanger.
We arrived and see the team there, waiting for us. They were at the landing ramp of a Sheathipede-class transport shuttle, where we will use to get into Canterlot. We got aboard and took off, me flying the ship. Dusk was next to me and the others were in the back.
The Shuttle began to arrive to the Capital. We landed and saw a battalion of Shadow Troopers heading to greet us. I got to the back with Dusk.
“General Grievous, we have company, I think you could greet them.”
Grievous nods and begins to walk over to the controls to lower the landing ramp and push the button to lower the ramp. The Shadow Troopers looked and see Grievous coming down the ramp.
One of the Shadow Troopers asked, shocked “General Calamitous? You’re alive?”
Grievous grabbed his lightsabers and before they could act, Grievous cut them down and killed them. We got off the ship and we began to the castle.
The Guards see us approaching and both me and Dusk threw our lightsabers at the guards, killing them. We grabbed our lightsabers and went inside and got within the castle undetected. We began to make our way to the Dungeons and that was when we began to hear talking. We got into a position to hide and we began to hear the talking.
A male’s voice said “…and I see no reason why we must treat they so well, my queen.”
I looked out of the corner of my eye and see Spell Nexus and Nightmare Moon.
Nightmare replied “Nonsense, they are our ticket to getting Danny and controlling the Mane 5 from attacking me. If we killed them, the world will surely attack us. Besides, I have the feeling that the darkness is approaching. Harkon is close to finding the prophecy. When they find both Elder Scrolls and read them, we will finally put an end to the sun forever!”
Nexus replied “But, my queen, is it needed to return the cursed sun again? They won’t believe it’s you. They will surely think that Celestia is back…”
They began to walk away, now out of ear range. We got out of hiding, wondering what had given Nightmare a change of heart. I didn’t think much about it and began to move towards the dungeons. When we arrived to the door, we killed the guards swiftly and we opened the door, revealing a large drop down.
“Who wants to jump down?” I asked.
Grievous jumped down first, followed by Proxy, who changed his appearance to General Kota, and we looked down.
“Well, let’s go.”
They nodded and we jumped down.
Charming and Twilight, who were unarmed and their cell being enchanted to prevent them from using magic, were helpless and looking at the guards in misery. The guards were talking about why they were watching them when they were locked away. However, they were cut off when something landed in front of the cage. They looked and see General Grievous, he was holding his lightsabers.
One of the Shadow Guards asked, shocked “What the-General Calamitous? How are you alive?”
Suddenly, one of the guards was knocked out by Proxy, who was disguised as General Kota. Proxy grabbed his lightsaber and cut the other guard in half. Proxy returned to his true form as we arrived to the ground. I shot a ghost ray at the lock of the cell, breaking it. Charming and Twilight came out of the cell and I hand them their lightsabers that I managed to smuggle.
“We need to get out of here before Nightmare finds out we are already here. Grievous, clear us a path.”
Grievous nodded and began to run up the stairs with his lightsabers in hand. We began to follow with Twilight and Charming behind them. We made it up to the top floor and that was when the alarmed began to go off. A lot of guards began to rush to the Dungeons and they see us.
“Well,” I said “time to fight for our lives.”
Proxy transformed into Darth Maul, which almost made Charming heart stop. Proxy activated his double-edged lightsaber, I activated my lightsabers, General Grievous separated his hand into four arms and grabbed his four lightsabers and activated them, Dusk pulled out her two lightsabers and activated them, Sharple pulled out her lightsaber and summoned several different swords and held them with her magic, Soundwave put the Resonance Blaster and put it on, and finally, Twilight and Charming activated their lightsabers. We all got into fighting stances.
“Now THIS is a true battle with the combination of Sith and Jedi!”
Charming nodded and the enemy began to charge. We began to charge as well. We collided with them and began to cut down the enemy. We were surrounded and both me and Charming were back-to-back. We looked at each other before we began to cut them down. We blocked their blaster fire. Soundwave punched a trooper then another and began to use his trademark weapon and began to take down loads of enemies. He deploy laserbeak and he began to fire at them. Grievous was mowing down enemies with his four lightsabers. He stabbed two and cut down two more then proceeded. Sharple cut down one foe and used her swords to mow down groups. Twilight was cutting down opponents of her own with Proxy, who was still Darth Maul. Dusk was cutting down opponents like they were grass against a lawn mower. We were eventually together and kept hold of our ground. No matter how many we took down, more Shadow Troopers came back to replace the fallen.
Charming shouted “There are too many of them! We can’t take them all down!”
“Then it’s time we even the odds! Selected Ghosts of the ghost zone, your master calls for your aid! Johnny 13, Danny Phantom, Clockwork, Vlad Plasmius, Fright Knight, Ember Mclain, Skulker, and Frostbite, I call your assistance!”
Suddenly, the portal of the Ghost Zone opened. Johnny 13 and Danny came through first. They began to take down some Shadow Troopers. Vlad and Fright Knight came next, Vlad using his ghost rays to take them down while Fright Knight cut them down with his sword and pet, Nightmare. When, two more came through the portal: Ember Mclain and Skulker.
Ember said “It’s time to rock and roll!”
Ember began to play her guitar, her guitar was sending ghost attacks at the Shadow Troopers. Skulker began to fire ghost rays as well. Clockwork and Frostbite came through last and Frostbite fires ice beams at the Troopers, freezing them. Clockwork began to radiate with power as it began to launch waves of ghost energy at them. Charming smiled at the additional reinforcements.
“Now it’s a fair fight!”
We began to advance now. The ghosts began to back us up as we mowed down the shadow troopers and we eventually defeated them all. The ghosts returned and we began to run towards the exit that leads through the castle gates. However, little did I know that Nightmare Moon began to follow us.
Within the dark depths of my soul…
Inside a lonely cell that was pitch black, there would be believed to be no one inside the cell. However, a pair of blood red eyes slowly opened.
A dark and cruel voice said “Nightmare Moon approaches. It’s time to make her feel power she never imagined in her lifetime…”
The eyes disappeared from sight but there was a slight dark chuckle.
Charming, Danny, Twilight, Dusk, Grievous, Soundwave, Sharple, and Proxy were almost to the ship until they were stopped by Nightmare Moon and her soldiers.
Nightmare Moon said in a evil tone "Welcome home Danny..."
My eyes turned blood red and I felt pain in my chest. Suddenly, green flames began to surround me and it began to make the environment change entirely. The wing began to pick up speed, lightning began to crackle at the clouds as they turned dark. Even the night sky was beginning to change into green slightly. A green flaming tornado began to swirl around Danny and when the tornado blew apart, standing there was a adult-looking stallion. He was Black, his mane and tail were white but they look like flames, his teeth were still normal but he had fangs in front of them. And, to everyone shock, his CM was the same as mine. He opened his eyes, revealing blood red eyes. The stallion smiled.
"Hello Nightmare...and goodbye." The stallion aimed his hoof at her and a blast of ectoplasm happened, sending Nightmare flying away. The stallion began to laugh evilly. "Finally, after 500 years of being locked away in Danny's soul, I'm FINALLY FREE!!! Dark Danny is back and better than ever! Hahahahahahaha!!!"
Charming and the others couldn’t believe what just happened. I just turned evil because of Nightmare Moon. Dark Danny turned to Charming Thunder and the others. He glared at them, not even going to attack them.
“What are you doing, standing there for?” Dark Danny asked. “Get into the ship, my business is with Nightmare alone. I don’t need pests getting in my way.”
Charming understood that Dark Danny was sparing them to leave and get out of his way. Charming took the chance and began to take the others to the ship. Dark Danny looked at the troops and fired an ecto-energy wave at them, pushing them back and off the landing platform. Nightmare Moon returned and she looked angry. She fired a beam of magic at Dark Danny but he just used a shield to block the attack. He pointed his hoof at her again and fired another ghost ray at her, push her back slightly. He took a deep breath before unleashing his ghostly wail. The attack pushed her back and made her pushed back to the castle. Dark Danny smirked before he felt pain in his chest. He revered his form back to me and I got up and dashed to the ship before it took off. I put up the landing ramp and went up to the front and took a seat at the driver’s seat with Charming.
“Let’s get going before Nightmare recovers from Dark Danny’s Ghostly Wail.”
I took navigation controls and began to take us to the hidden base.
We arrived and landed inside the hanger bay. We got off the ship.
“Welcome to the Mount Phantom, the hidden base for the Phantom Consortium. In this place, we were going to monitor all enemy activity here. Come on now, we have a war to wage. I’ll show you to your living quarters.”
Charming and Twilight were shocked to know I had a hidden base in Equestria without their knowledge and I lead them to the section where the living quarters were at.
