A voice within the claws...
After recovering with a few nights of rest the Mario brothers are once more on scene to help welcome the one and only Princess Celestia to Ponyville. With Twilight stressing over the situation, however, Mario and Luigi were pretty calm. Meeting Royalty was an everyday thing for the brothers; heck even saving royalty everyday... "Everything has to be perfect for Celestia to meet my friends... including you two." Twilight nervously blurted out.
"Twilight, this is what we normally wear when we see our princess." Mario said.
"I'd much prefer you in gentlecolt clothing for this afternoon. I'm sure Rarity is getting something completed as we speak for you two."
"Okie dokie!" Luigi said, leading the way to Rarity's.

Outside the brothers could hear Rarity in a scramble. "This dress must be absolutely perfect for the princess, no dirt no grime no stains no nothing!"
Mario and Luigi were at the door when suddenly, SLAM! The door had opened and Rarity walked out. Luigi, unfortunatly being the one pancaked between the boutique and door.
"Mamma Mia," Luigi said. falling to the floor like a leaf.
"Oh, Terribly sorry about that, Luigi." Rarity said.
Mario remembering the adventures in the bean bean kingdom had with him an air pump just in case this had happened. Luigi's flatness was soon rounded out.
"Thank you." Luigi said to mario.
"Well, that's quite a, uh, haphazard way to do things," Rarity said. "However, I must ask, why are you here?"
"Twilight asked us to get suits for Princess Celestia." Mario said
"Ah, so that's why, come in then, I'll get you fitted then we're off to meet the princess."
The fitting process didn't take long and neither did the waiting on the suits altercations soon after. Mario and Luigi had simply told Rarity their preference and both been measured. the suits were finished and the clock struck 11:30.
"Oh no, I have to go now!" Rarity said heading carefully out the door.
The suits were fitted to perfection; they even had red and green colored bowties for the brothers. From out of nowhere horns sounded giving fanfare to Princess Celestia and her fine kingdom.
"Let's a go!" Mario said eager to meet Celestia
"Okie dokie!" Luigi said just for the food
The brothers made it to Sugarcube corner, where Princess Celestia was going to have a not-so-formal get together with her student and the friends she'd made. The Mario Bros approached the guards and promptly they held up their wings preventing any uninvited guests from entering.
"Hault!" the first guard said.
"Who goes there?" the second guard said.
"The Mario Brothers." Luigi said.
"The who brothers?" the first guard said.
"We're the Mario brothers I'm mario and this is my brother Luigi and we somehow managed to get here into Equestria and we're invited guests."
"Huh, ok, um..." the first guard said.
"Miss Sparkle." the second guard called inside.
"Yes?" Twilight said coming to the door "oh, these two are on the list. I gotta say Rarity you've outdone yourself."
Somewhere within there was an unheard thank you.
Inside sugar cube corner there were many ponies eager to converse and hopefully get the chance to meet the Princess themselves.
Princess Celestia was seated at the back of the establishment being promptly waited on by Mr and Mrs. cake. "Gee I wonder what those guards are busy doing outside." Mario and Luigi heard Rainbow dash saying. "Maybe..." She said eagerly. hopping out of sugarcube corner with a woosh. it wasn't but a minute before "Ooh, you're good, too good. I'm bored.
Immediatly after, Fluttershy arrived in a hurry. "Phew I made it on time."
Mario and Luigi were by the door when they saw her outside.
"Hault!"
"Who goes there?" both guards ask as Fluttershy approaches the sweets shop. the guards wings held up in a protective yet unmenacing way.
No one. Never mind, I'll go home." Fluttershy said quickly and timmidly. Both Twilight and Pinkie were passing by at the time and Twiight informed the guards that she was indeed on the list.
"Thanks Twilight," Fluttershy said.
"I'm so glad you could make it, Fluttershy, it wouldn't have been the same without you." Twilight said.
Everypony and everyone were busy conversing and having a good time at Celestia's brunch in Ponyville. Spike busy with the cooking as easy as can be with dragon's flame, and Mr and Mrs. Cake busy filling everypony's orders including Princess Celestia's.
"Sorry I was late, I was busy taking care of a patient first." Fluttershy said
"Oh, you and your tender loving care of little animals, I know Princess Celestia's going to love that about you." Twilight got a little tense around the last bit.
"Wow Twilight I thought I was the only one who got nervous at social gatherings."
"Its not that, i just want the princess to approve of my friends."
"But she's met us all before," Fluttershy remarked
"Everyone except..." Twilight said...
"Gotta go!" Twilight dashed off to find Mario and Luigi.
Rarity was overconcious about getting anything on her dress, prompting Twilight to rush over. " what's wrong rarity?" Twilight asked
"I put on the most exquisit dress for this 'brunch' and I don't want it ruined in any way."
"Ooh that looks good," Rarity said, "wait does it stain!? Get it away from me!"
Twilight went back to Fluttershy.
"Suppose its not that formal of a get together." she said to twilight.
Luigi was sitting next to Applejack
"Man, I am starved," she said hapily at first then took a look at the spread "Uh, which is the appetizer and which is the salad? And which do I eat first." Applejack then sighed
Luigi hearing this Promptly answered. "The appetizer comes first followed by the salad, Unless you're having soup in which case soup comes first."
"Mighty thanks sugarcube, where'd you learn that?" Applejack asked
"In a haunted mansion with ghosts." Luigi earnestly replied.
"Tell me you're joking." Applejack said.
Luigi just didn't answer smirking and eating what was served along with Applejack.
Fluttershy and Twilight just looked that way astonished.
"Well, Luigi's really helpful," Fluttershy said.
"Helpful, and hopefully joking..." Twilight nervously added having a bit of a long slur on the word 'and'.
Pinkie was bounding about with energy that was unfathomable. She stopped at a chocolate fountain and immediatly stuffed her head into it, encasing her head in a chocolate statue. That chocolate statue cracked and cracked until, she'd eaten her way out. Mario was busy talking with Princess Celestia, who was eager to learn why he was in equestria when suddenly Pinkie bounded by, "Hey! you going to eat that?" she asked quickly and with no reply immediatly and happily snarfed the princess's cupcake; prompting Mr and Mrs. cake to respond immediatly with a cup of tea and another cupcake which the Princess partook of.
"So, Mario," the princess said; "you're out here because of the antics of Discord?"
Mario nodded "Mmhmm."
"I just don't know what to make of this, the discord I know of is trapped in stone in the castle's garden. I looked at his statue this morning." Princess Celestia said sipping her tiny cup of tea prompting Mrs. cake to refill almost immedietly.
Mario was perplexed at what was just said.
Princess Celestia took another sip leaving the cup empty, Mr.cake immediatly rushed the refill.
"So, tell me about your world, what is there that Equestria might have to face."
Mario told Princess Celestia about Bowser, the big, princess stealing brute, Bowser, whom he's defeated a ton of times.
"Well, Mario, you don't have to worry about this princess, She's safe in her castle." Celestia said on a pun of 'toad's' words. This time, she took a pretend sip out of her cup of tea and when Mrs. cake came for the refill the cup overflowed "Gotcha." Princess Celestia playfully said. Mr. and Mrs. Cake weren't sure how to handle this, and just shrugged it off, cleaning the spill.
Twilight was relieved that Mario had not acted Rashly at all in Celestia's conversation.
"Pleasure to have met you Mario." Princess Celestia turned "Now, you dear, Fluttershy is it," Celestia tuned and asked.
"Yes," Fluttershy said nervously.
"You like tending to the needs of woodland creatures right?"
"Absolutely I love taking care of animals." Fluttershy excitedly said.
"Well, Nothing means more to me than the health and well being of my subjects."
There was a bird cage next to Celestia that had a wheezing and caughing bird in it some of its wings had fallen off after that.
"Oh, philomena, my pet, you're awake."
The bird hopped onto the bird swing and caughed and hacked more.
"What do you think," Celestia asked Fluttershy, "Isn't she majestic?"
The bird hacked more with more wings sputtering off. prompting Fluttershy to say "Oh, my... I've never seen anything quite like it."
A royal guard popped in to whisper something into Celestia's ear. "Is that so, well then Royal duity calls."
"I must appologize to everyone here, The mayer has requested an audience with me, so, I must cut the festivities short."
There were groans all across the sweets shop as though everyone's favorite candy were sold out. Twilight couldn't help but think Fluttershy caused this to happen, however, she knew that Mayor Mare needed to speak with Princess Celestia about something in private and dismissed this feeling.
Mr. Cake packed up what was on the table next to Celestia and in tow what Applejack and Luigi were busy eating. Luigi, had managed to swipe one last cupcake before the whole spread was gone. He then threw the cupcake up in the air and caught it in his mouth, eating the cupcake and walking out of sugarcube corner. Luigi was satisfied with his portion.
"Hey, uh, Luigi," Applejack said. "Thanks a might for helping me out back there."
Luigi chuckled "You got it." he said holding a thumbs up for Applejack.
Back at Sugarcube corner, Twilight was relieved at having the party go fine and the princess being not at all displeased with her friends. There was however, one thing missing...

Meanwhile, at Fluttershy's cottage she had a very persistant house guest to take care of. Fluttershy was doing anything and everything she could to get Philomena to take medicine, have a stable temprature and find another way for her to simply rehabilitate herself, however all of these ended in failure. Mario being the first to notice the royal pet was taken knocked at fluttershy's door.
"Um, who is it?" she asked.
"Its a Mario." Mario replied.
"Oh, I thought it was somepony else, come in.
"I noticed you take Princess Celestia's pet," Mario said. "What were you planning on doing?"
"I was planning on nursing her back to health, but everything I've done hasn't worked."
"I'm a doctor," Mario said enthusiastically. "Maybe I could help."
"You're a doctor?" Fluttershy asked puzzled, "I'd heard from your brother that you're a plumber."
"Plumbing's just a hobby," Mario said "Medicine is where the real coins are."
philomena caughed and hacked once again, more andmore of her wings fell off with every hack. When suddenly somepony else knocked at the door.
"Who is it?" Fluttershy asked.
"Its Twilight."
"Come in." Fluttershy said.
"This is a desaster!" Twilight said panicked.
"What happened? Fluttershy asked
"Somepony stole Princess Celestia's pet!" Twilight hears Philimina caughing and hacking "It was you!?!" Twilight said more worried than ever before.
"Well, I couldn't leaver her in that poor of condition before the princess was off, so-" Fluttershy was cut off
"You just kidnapped her?!"
"Look Twilight,"Mario tried saying
"And you're her accomplice?" Twilight said furiously.
"Twilight, I was only doing it to help philomena feel better, then Mario showed up to help me with her treatment."
"What treatment were we talking about?"
"I was just using home remedies," Fluttershy said. "Soup, rest, consolence, but nothing worked."
"What about you Mario?"
" I was going to use a Megavitamine, Its a super powerful medicine that works in most all cases of illness in my world."
"I tried medicine before, Mario, but it didn't work. Fluttershy said.
"Did you try coating it in bird seed?"
"Yes, and she only ate around it." Fluttershy said
"Well, Let me see one of those Megavitamines and I'll make her take it. Twilight said
"I don't think-" Fluttershy said.
"There's obviously-" Mario said.
Both of them were cut off by Twilight who took a completely blue megavitamine from Mario and "Down the hatch." made Philimina take her medicine. "Alright, what's next?"
Well, um, she keeps pulling off her feathers at least those that don't come off after she caughs and hacks."
"you know Fluttershy, something seems to be-" Mario started
"Well, I know what to do about that." Twilight said cutting mario off and getting a cone puting it around philomena's head.
Philomena's weakened neck couldn't support the cone so she just simply flopped seeing nothing but Fluttershy's wooden floor.
"Anything else?" Twilight asked.
"She wouldn't eat her soup." Fluttershy finished.
Twilight got the soup and just like the medicine, she force-fed it to philomena.
"Mamma mia," mario said, his eyes were closed while he was faceplaming and shaking his head.
"What, did you have a better plan to get philomena back to her owner in better condition?" Twilight asked Mario.
"No, not really," Mario said back to her sternly. "However, its not at all safe for an unlicensed practitioner to adminester Megavitamines."
"What's the worst that could've happened?" Twilight asked unaware that medicine could be any different here to there.
" Well, you could've done more harm than good. Some enzymes in the Megavitamine could've broken down philomena's and made it so she..." Mario was a bit hesitant on continuing because of how the major efects of megavitamins work.
"She...?" Twilight hung on Mario's words waiting for him to continue
"Passed out for a few days and ended up in worse condition than before." Mario quickly said.
Fluttershy and Twilight were speechless, giving Mario an 'its the end of the world' look.
"What?" Mario asked "These vitamines are 'super powerful', and must always be used with caution; If that had happened, we would've noticed immediatly." Mario reassured "Thankfully she's got a good immune system and the Megavitamine had no efect
"We should return her back to Celestia's side right now, before anything else near devistating happens." Twilight said.
"I think you're right." both Mario and Fluttershy said.
They got a basket ready to drop off philomena and the door knocked.
"Is anyone in there?" the voice of the first guard saying hault portruded through the door.
Twilight opened the door. "How can we help you today good sirs?" Twilight asked trying not to sound suspitions at all. Luigi was with the two guards. "Someone has stolen the Princess's pet and we must know if you have any information on this theft." the second guard said.
"Luigi, would you mind coming in so I could give you a hug?" Mario asked.
Luigi was in too good of spirits to refuse. when the brothers embraced, Mario said "Act natural, we have Philomena and we were trying to help her condition, now we're trying to give her back without being noticed."
Luigi immediatly froze then turned around.
"Luigi," the second guard said to him. "What did Mario say?"
"Oh, Just that he loves me. A lot. As a brother." Luigi said.
Philomena was caughing and hacking in the background.
"What was that?" the first guard said.
Twilight first caughed with Philomena. "Erm. Must be the dry night air." she said
"But Ma'am, its daytime. the second guard said.
"and daytime air is dryer." Twilight said now with Fluttershy Mario and Luigi caughing and hacking along.
"Sorry to have troubled you all, have a fine day." guard one said. and without allowing any time for the guards to walk away, Twilight immediatly shut the door.
"Well, back to return Celestia's pet." Fluttershy said.
"No, we can't do that now!" Twilight said stressing more that when she realized she almost killed Philomena with a Megavitamine. "If we return her now, we'll be held accountable for stealing her and that..."
"That... what?" Luigi said sounding a little horrified.
"That would probably make Celestia banish us," Twilight said. "That, or lock us up. Or, even worse banish us then lock us up in the place we're banished to."
Luigi was cowering a bit hoping not to be banished to a haunted mansion.
"Would Celestia even do that?" Fluttershy asked confident that Celestia wouldn't do such a thing.
"I too would have to question that," Mario said however he was cut off by someone else.
Twilight was freaked out. suddenly through out of nowhere a masked thug broke into fluttershy's cottage.
"Ah, cripes. I look everywhere for something to sell for coins and turns out, this place don't have any coins." the masked thug said. "Might as well steal something for whatever currency ya got since I am the great shadow thief pop..."
The great shadow thief looks behind him. "Cripes! What are you two palookas doing here!!!" he said.
Mario and Luigi recognized this criminal as soon as they layed eyes on him.
"Its popple!"Mario said
"Get him!" Luigi said right after.
Fluttershy was too nervous to do a thing.
Twilight was too astonished and shocked to do anything.
"ha, looks like its your two new friends are scared as horses. and this time, I'm prepared, for you two, see." Popple said holding up a smokebomb. "See you suckers never!" he said running off with Philomina's basket.

Popple kept running knowing that those red and green mustached people never give up foiling him. in the Beanbean kingdom they killed his entire operation, on Pi'ilow island he was fooled into battleing Wiggler for a garden. But now that there was a new world around him, it was time to start new and fresh, "Heh, time for the shadow thief to cause mischef." Popple said aloud. he heard caughing and hacking coming from the basket he'd stolen. "huh, whadda we got here?" Popple said opening the basket. Philomena dropped out, caughing and hacking wings popping off her. "Criminy! What happened to you poor fella?" popple said removing the cone around Philomena's neck. "Say, its been a while since I've had a rookie."
Philomena caughed and hacked a little.
"Want to be my rookie?" Popple asked.

Twilight, Fluttershy, Mario and Luigi are now in a wierd prediciment, so they decide to catch Popple post haste and retrive Philomena. Scowering Ponyville high and low the four of them covered good ground, while also keeping a low profile. However, Popple and his supposed Rookie were one step ahead of them.
There were posters harboring Philomina's hoof-drawn picture. those were vandlized with fake mustaches, Mario and Luigi could tell that much. Twilight and Fluttershy thought they caught up with Philomena around a tree, however multiple times around there prooved that the bird just got away. Popple Showed up Right after the two of them were dizzy and said "Ha, now that's what I call a merry-go-round. That was fun, see ya!" he said running off.
Mario and Luigi were at the park when suddenly they saw somepony with a paper, they decided to ask this random patron if they'd seen anything, but alas he merely shook his head. When Mario and Luigi were gone this patron revealed himself to be none other than Popple. Heh, How's that for the saddle over the eyes ya palookas." Popple muttered to himself when suddenly Fluttershy and Twilight poped by the same spot Mario and Luigi checked. They found the same patron behind a paper however, this time It was Philomena in a mustache. Thinking nothing of a bird in plain view, they passed by, Philomena's cover was never blown.
Popple and Philomena were now cornered and seen together and into somepony's house they went. Mario Luigi Twilight and Fluttershy began to do the same except, which door did Popple and philomena use? altogether there were six doors and four possibilities led to a wrong door. Mario and company tried a seperate door but none of them were the one Popple had entered. Popple exited and Fluttershy followed. Twilight saw Luigi thinking he was Popple just cos of green and chased him. Mario saw Philomena and chased after her. Fluttershy decided to withdraw from chasing Popple and saw red thinking it was Philomena but she was tailing Mario. This escapade continued for about fifteen minutes until Mario opened a door only to see five other versions of himself. His Mario World, his 8 bit, his Mario-Kun, his newer wii version and his skinny. "Mamma Mia!" he said as all of his versions even him shut all six of the doors.
Popple hitailed it to the center of Ponyville, only thing was, Twilight and company had the same idea. Applejack Rarity and Pinkie were there on spot seeing everything go down.
"Give back Philomena you thief!" Twilight said exhausted
" Boo, boo I say," Popple said with a smile. "What if I told you he didn't want to go back to you palookas?"
"I'd call you a lier!" Twilight exclaimed
"Well, Rookie, Show em'" Popple said.
Philomena then smiled deviously. She flew up upon the water fountain.
"Rookie! How dare you do this to the person who'd saved you from such horrible treatment!" Popple yelled at his 'Rookie'
"My, that's not a very nice tone..." Fluttershy said too low for anyonelse to hear. " And all I did was try to help her recover. It was Twilight's idea of tough love, then you came here took Philomena as your partner in crime!" Fluttershy said yet again no one else heard it.
Philomena gave an exadurated caugh hack and the last of her wings fell off. She fell to the ground and in doing so caught on fire. Both Popple and Fluttershy went to grab Philomena. "No!" Fluttershy for once yelled.
"Rookie!" Popple said tears streaming down his face "We were supposed to become the inseperable duo of thievery you and I." Popple seeing Fluttershy's distraught face saw that this wasn't a facade like he'd seen in the past. Acting tough though, Popple then said "What you palookas lookin' at?" wiping away his tears.
"What is going on here!" Celestia's voice boomed. "Twilight? Mario? Luigi? and who?"
"There's been a terrable accident." Twilight said.
"It was my fault." Fluttershy said.
"I helped out a little," Mario said so, Its partially my fault too."
"No, It was my fault." Twilight said to both of them
"No," Fluttershy said
"Would you let me do this? She'll go easier on me!" Twilight finallly said before
"No, its my fault." Pinkie randomly cut in. "Wait what's my fault?"
"Who's this palooka?" Popple askes broad daylight.
"Who dares slander my name?" Celestia asks.
Everyone backs up letting popple take center stage
Popple was once more in tears. "Ya know what," He said to them all. "This is one time I, the Great Shadow Thief, will admit he's done wrong."
Everyone there was astounded at Princess Celestia's patience
"What happened here, Popple?" Celestia asked.
"I had taken a basket from these palookas," Popple said " I was going to sell what was inside until I saw that lil' mischevious bird."
"Its true." Mario said interupting popple
"Would you let me finish, scraggly beard?!" Popple interjected. "But, seeing as how she wanted a little free time I took her as my Rookie." he smiled a little.
"Well, That's rude." Fluttershy said under her breath about popple's first comment.
"Now, why would Philomena be in your care," Celestia asked Fluttershy. "I thought I'd left her at sugar cube Corner."
"Well, when I saw her, She looked pretty ill, and all I'd wanted was to get her to feel better." Fluttershy admitted
"Fluttershy, I commend your kind spirit in helping my pet." Celestia said to Fluttershy kindly. She then turned to face Popple "You on the other hand, Must learn that its not alright to steal." she began charging up her magic however, she decided against her action. "You must also learn to be nicer to those whom are more powerful than you.
"Well, ya can't teach an old dog new tricks, but, hey I'll try it."
Celestia now went to Philomena
"Philomena, stop joking." The ashes began to swirl and new life took the ashes as a flash of light appeared. Philomena was now revitalized, her wings glowed red her eyes orange and so on. She flew down to Celestia."
"Rookie!" Popple said trying to get close.
the guards stuck out their wings and Philomena stuck out her tongue.
"argh!" Popple growled "Why, Why, Why, does this always happen?! Every single Rookie I get just turns and dumps me."
"You know, you could try to be nicer to your so called 'Rookies'" Fluttershy said.
"Yeah, suppose you're right, I could've gone a little soft with Rookie over there." Popple said. "and it is what I just learned give me a bit to get it down.
Philomena flew over to popple and gave him one of her feathers.
"Thanks...Pal." Popple said hugging her.
"Ugh, Rainbow dash said "I didn't expect a thief to be all sappy." Dash had said
"Quiet ya Palooka! I'm sure if it'd happened to you, you'd be exactly like me." Popple said.
Everyone including Celestia looked at popple. "My bad." popple said
"Phhht yeah right." Dash said. "Hey, Philomena." Dash said. Philomena Flew up to Dash and Dash whispered somethig in her ear. a few moments later Dash finally got the Royal guards to laugh. Everyone else including Popple joined in.

With the day done, Celestia and her guards headed back to Canterlot. Little did any of them know that a saboteur had flown in.
"Yes," Cackletta said "She certainly has a pure voice. One that will go perfectly to my plan."
The cart landed in front of the royal castle.
"Shining Armor," the princess said.
"Yes, your majesty?" another voice protruded the back of the cart which Cackletta was hiding behind. "Is that the prince?" was all Cackletta thought.
"I had a bad feeling I was being watched on my flight back here," the Princess said.
"I will check it your majesty." the supposed prince's voice said.
Cackletta knew she was going to be discovered if she stayed there any longer, so after Celestia was inside and the guards had checked the back, she broke apart into bats and flew off. Shining Armor noticed them and fired multiple magic blasts at them, However, as soon as he had hit one, it retaliated back with a lightning strike. No words were had between the two adversaries. The bats flew off unscathed. As Shining Armor was knocked unconscious. Other guards immediately took chase after the bats and took care of their leader.
Cackletta now took further refuge in the castle's sculpture gardens. "I must get to the princess." Cackletta said "The way she spoke to that thief earlier, she must have an untarnished voice." She continued through the garden in her regular form taking note at the statues. One had three ponies earth pony, pegasus and unicorn all supporting one another. 'Harmony' was the title of that piece. Cackletta particularly liked what it'd symbolized. She continued on seeing a singular earth pony sculpture with stars 'victory' was feebly scratched upon it. she scoffed and made note that her victory won't be as feeble as the title on the sculpture. she continued on to see a statue of a... 'What is this?' Cackletta asked herself. The sculpture was of a weird creature. one not found in the Mushroom kingdom nor Beanbean kingdom abroad. this creature had a head that screamed goat to her, a lion paw and a talon took both the left and right hands respectively; the body seemed snake like and over all had an expression that had made Cackletta laugh.
Soldiers marched to the gardens looking for the one who had taken out their commander. Cackletta hid behind the pedestal that had held such a mishmash of chaos. A few moments passed and there was a small crumbling to be heard from somewhere, causing Cackletta to flee once more out of fear of being caught. Little did she know, though, the statue of chaos was slowly breaking free. The guards were unaware of anything going on and continued patrolling the stone gardens for Shining Armor's assailant.
She flew away until, she saw another pony like the princess, however, she was completely navy blue to black. "She will be my fall back in case things don't work out." Cackletta noticed the pony move to look elsewhere than her telescope. Cackletta made note of her fall back plan and quickly continued indoors. 'Who was that though,' was Cackletta's only thought before continuing on. Cackletta saw that the royal guards were posted at the door. Her only way in was through a window.
The princess's castle was a sight to behold, and would be a fine place for the great witch to rest, once she was done conquering this kingdom. Cackletta was then reminded of her defeat. She'd wanted so much to forget her trials back in the beanbean kingdom, however they were her drive to continue conquering from the shadows.
The guards from the stone garden quickly gave a report to those outside; "Someone has attacked and Shining Armor is down," one of the guards said. "We must search inside. There is a chance the Princess is in great danger." he said Cackletta smirked as her feats tonight were taken with great awe and fear. ' The great Cackletta shall rule you all!' she thought to herself. a third voice protruded through the door only prompting Cackletta it was time to move on.
Cackletta made her way into Celestia's sleeping quarters. Seeing that there were guards posted at her door, Cackletta had to, once more, try another option, the window. the guards only heard a small pop as Cackletta had gone through the small crack that was the window. She was now outside, the night's crisp air, the crickets chirping, both had reminded Cackletta of a forgotten childhood. The moon was huge though, never in her life had she seen a brighter moon. a night guard bat pony came out and began pursuing Cackletta. The speed and attack of her adversary were nearly that of the only two who had beaten her before.
"I must commend you," Cackletta said "You're the most threat I'd had all night." She said grinning.
The bat pony said nothing and charged with a spear in hoof at Cackletta. Cackletta just, before the spear, hit her transformed into her bat form yet again and began to swarm the guard that had posed such a threat to her plan. The guard was overwhelmed by how Cackletta attacked and was unfortunately defeated. Cackletta now made way into the princess's sleeping chamber.
The area was big, bigger than any other Cackletta had seen in a long time. The bed faced the balcony which Cackletta had used to enter. The bed was double that a king sized bed. aside the princess were crumbs of sweets, the likes of which were more than defiantly brought by the help.
Cackletta now began her plan, pulling from beneath her black cloak's pocket, a box. Cackletta stealthily walked over to the muzzle of the princess. The box she pulled sprung open, scaring princess Celestia awake. The box then sprayed nauseous gas. Celestia screamed frightened, terrified even after some odd thousand years, however, not a sound came out, but rather the Princess's voice. Cackletta then absorbed the gas, which had contained Celestia's voice, in her minion's spare head gear that she always keeps handy. With her job done Cackletta then flew off once more into the night, leaving as she had come.
The guards were one step behind Cackletta and one step too late. Princess Luna had entered her sister's room and asked what was going on, Princess Celestia tried to tell her sister about who was in here, however the only thing to escape her lips was... BOOM!
There was a small note on the ground, Luna picked it up and began reading it.
