Princess Celestia was sitting in her room watching her favorite T.V show, Total Drama, she watched as the humans on the screen were competing in many different activities, and then the winner was chosen. The host of the show got right infront of the camera and started speaking.
"This is the last season of Total Drama, thank you for watching, i'm Chris Mclean, signing off for the last time, peace!" Said the human on the screen, he then took out his signature jetpack and flew away. Princess Celestia's face scrunched up in anger, she then proceeded to smash her T.V, The sound caused Princess Luna to run into her bedroom.
"My dear sister, what is the matter?" Asked Luna, obvious concern for Celestia in her voice.
"My favorite show ended." Celestia replied.
"Is that any reason to smash your T.V?" Asked Luna
"Yes it is, it means no more seeing the drama, the action, and the island!" Celestia shouted, her voice echoing through the halls of the castle.
"Then why not just bring the host of the show here and make your own Total Drama." Said Luna, obvious sarcasm in her voice.
"That's it, i'll get Chris Mclean here along with Chef and their camera crew, and we can make our own Total Drama!" Exclaimed Celestia,
"What! I was making a joke, we can't really do this!" Yelled Luna.
"But of course we can, we are the princesses afterall." Said Celestia.
"But how are we supposed to do this? We don't exactly have an island in Equestria." Luna said. Celestia's horn then lit up as if she was raising the sun. After about a minute her horn stopped glowing and Celestia looked towards Luna with gleeful eyes.
"We do now." She said.
"You made an island!" Luna yelled in anger.
"Yes I did, how else were we supposed to have the show?" Asked Celestia. Luna sighed and facehoofed.
"Fine, you can have your fun, but I want no part in th-" Luna started.
"You can pick ten ponies to be on a team you named." Celestia said. Luna looked at Celestia with a confused look, but her look then became seldom.
"When you put it that way, let's do it, let's make a reality T.V show." Luna said. The two princesses made their horns glow and a magical aura surrounded both of them. The room lit up with a bright white light and the silhouette of a form was able to be seen in the center of it all. After about a minute the light faded and Chris Mclean was seen in the center of the room.
"Whoa! Where in the world am I! Who in the world are you two, why am I yelling!" Chris yelled.
"I'm Princess Celestia, and that is my sister Luna. You're in Equestira for a new season of Total Drama." Explained Celestia.
"No, Total Drama is finished, no more, finnet- You can talk!" Yelled Chris
"The contestants will be magical talking ponies like us." Said Luna
"Magical talking ponies huh? It will make a good show, I will just need Chef and the camera crew." Chris said.
"We already put them on the island." Said Celestia.
"And we have come up with the team names for you." Said Luna
"The Sunflares." Celestia said.
"And the Nightdusts." Said Luna.
"I usually pick the names, but I guess i'll make an exception since you two brought me here." Chris said.
"Oh goody, my favorite T.V show is going to return!" Exclaimed Celestia.
"Take me to the island." Chris said. The princesses teleported themselves and Chris to the island where Chef and the camera crew where waiting.
"You can get everything set up while we go and get you your contestants." Luna said.
"That way you can make everything and plan the challenges beforehoof." Added Celestia.
"That will help, thank you Princess Celestia, Princess Luna." Chris said humbly.
"Chris, where are we!" Someone yelled from behind him. Chris turned around and look at his friend Chef.
"Chef, we are going to make another, Total Drama." Chris said.
"We're gunna do what now?" Chef asked.
"We're making Total Drama: Ponies!" Exclaimed Chris.
"Actually, we were think something more along the lines of, Total Drama: Equestria." Celestia said.
"I like that title better, now then, let's get to building everything we need." Chris said
"So am I not going to cook meat?" Chef asked.
"You will not cook meat, you will make foods that us ponies eat, oats, hay, muffins, toast, eggs, and cakes." Celestia said.
"I'm gunna have my work cut out for me." Chef mumbled as he walked to where he would build the mess hall. The two princesses teleported away and Chris was left there.
"Quick turn on the cameras!" Chris yelled. The camera crew got to work and set up cameras everywhere. Once they were done they had one cameraman record Chris.
"Last season of Total Drama was a good one, we had some laughs, we had some crying, and we had alot of pain, But that is in the past, We have a new season of Total Drama coming to you soon, Total Drama: Equestria!" Chris said to the camera. The cameramen and women started right away with the film they got, they edited it a bit and then broadcasted it. The commercial went all over Equestria, many ponies seeing it.
"A new season of Total Drama huh? This should be fun." Chris said as he laughed, waiting for his new contestants of Total Drama to appear.
