Pinkie 'Overdrive' Pie

Overdrive

It sure is a nice day to party! Pinkie Pie thought as she cantered along the road to Ponyville. She had just left Sweet Apple Acres after surprising Granny Smith with a surprise birthday party, needless to say it was a splendid party. Now she had to plan out the after party, and then another party for one of Fluttershy's pets!

She cantered along, singing a lovely tune to herself. The sun was shining above, the wind was blowing through the trees and the smell of apples carried with it, making Pinkie somehow smile even brighter than ever. She was so busy planning out the party in her head, when suddenly, she tripped.

Such is a day in the life of Pinkie Pie.

And started rolling down a hill, but instead of screaming, like most would do, she laughed heartily like a child would. She rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled and rolled... you get the point right? I hope so. Anyway she kept on rolling until she hit a conveniently ramp shaped rock and was sent flying through the air, where she passed by Derpy Hooves.

"Hi Derpy!" She greeted, waving a hoof.

Said pony watched her fly, a derpy smile on her face as she waved back. "Hi Pinkie!"

"Bye Derpy!"

"Bye Pinkie!"

And so Pinkie flew, into the Everfree forest where she ended up landing in a bush. A plain green bush with the standard color scheme of bushes and such, but it was a nice bush damn it. Pinkie landed head first into the bush, her body splayed out in random directions with her head poking out. She almost looked like a pony with a pink head and a green body... almost.

"What a landing!" She cried, shaking her head and bounding out of the bush with a smile. Looking around she noticed this particular area was different from the usual dark and gloomy atmosphere that was the Everfree forest. The trees were a dull brown as always, but the leaves were colored a neon blue, red, green and purple, and glowing with a distinct humming noise. It was hypnotizing, in a way. "OoooOOOOOoooOooo~"

...

"What is this place?"

Pinkie cantered forward, looking up down and all around at her new surroundings. The grass was wavy, and moved from a non-existent wind making it all the more ethereal The whole place seemed, pretty magical even by Equestria's standards, making it all the more amazing to Pinkie's eyes. Then again she found most things pretty amazing, as that is her way.

Looking around, she spotted something up ahead, something that resembled a pedestal. Trees and vines grew around it, and it gave off a heavenly glow that radiated energy, making Pinkie Pie feel both happy and awake. It called to her, like an invisible force was reaching out and pulling her towards it. A heavenly sound could be heard in the air, a song sung by the resident bird life around her.

This is... peaceful. She remarked, it was pretty peaceful considering where she was at the moment. She wandered through the forest, her eyes taking in every sight, from the odd trees, bushes, and other plant life. It was amazing, so why hadn't she heard of it? Sure Pinkie never read any books on the matter, or any books aside from cookbooks and joke books, but she could have sworn maybe Twilight would have said something about this mysterious and enchanting place before.

Then, suddenly she arrived at the pedestal where she saw something... five somethings to be exact. Five cans of... something.

Monster, Amp, Rockstar, Burn, and Full Throttle... what are these? She pondered, rubbing her chin as she trotted over to the five cans. They reminded her of soda but they were bigger than the cans she was used to. Though the cakes (and a considerable amount of ponies) didn't let her have any caffeine or carbonated drink for that matter, something about the Omnoms of 87 or something like that. She had no idea why they would keep her away from the sugary goodness, it was just a drink...

Right?

Pinkie looked at each can, they were ice cold, a wispy mist billowing off of the five cans mysteriously and ominously... it was kinda cool. She reached out and touched one of the cans, quickly pulling her hoof back as if the cans would snap at her like a snapping turtle. However... much like everypony, and the audience expected... nothing happened...

Yet...

"I wonder who left these here?" She pondered, rubbing a hoof under her chin in thought. She didn't know these brands of energy drinks, she'd never heard of them before. "Oooo! I wonder what they taste like!?" She said, reaching out and grabbing the Redbull. She weighed the can in her hooves, feeling how heavy it was. It wasn't any heavier than a tray of cupcakes. It was ice cold, as was evidenced by how it felt against her hoof. Looking at the tab, she shrugged. What's the worse that could happen?

In said small house, on the floor, in his room... a human shuddered. "I sense a disturbance in the force..."

Pinkie nodded to the skies, then popped the tab open. A hiss escaped the can, along with fizz. The smell of grape hit her nose and she grinned. I love grape! She cried mentally, bringing the can to her lips and tipping the can up until the liquid energy hit her tongue. She was hit with the taste of grape, and a slight stinging sensation. Pulling the can away, she said. "Wow, this tastes great!" Pinkie cried, tilting the can skyward and gulping it down. When it was empty she crushed the can on her head and tossed it aside. "I wonder what the others taste like!"

Grabbing another can, the Monster she popped its can open, and proceeded to gulp it down as well. This one stung as well, but left a pleasant aftertaste of something she couldn't figure out. What followed next was the Burn, then quickly the Full Throttle and the Rockstar. She chugged them all down, not leaving a single drop of fluid.

Then, suddenly... she shook, thinking something was wrong, she clutched her stomach, then in one swift motion... let out the loudest burp ponykind has ever heard.

"Wow! Those sure tasted pretty good... though I wonder who left them here? An-" She stopped, her eyes wide as she stood stock still. Her eyes turned to pinpricks, her body felt energized, more so then it ever has in her entire life! She felt the energy surge through her veins, she felt her heart pound in her chest, she felt so... so...

Alive.

"Hiya Twilight!" Applejack waved, seeing her lavender colored friend trot up to her stall. "How are ya doin'?"

Twilight smiled. "I'm doing alright AJ, just looking to pick up some apples today, and a book or five." She giggled.

AJ nodded, understanding. "Well, now how many apples do ya wa-" she was cut off as something extremely fast shot by her stall, and every other stall for that matter. Everypony cried out as the pink blur shot by them with enough force to break the sound barrier, the ground shook and the concussive force of the blast sent everypony sprawling to the ground.

Twilight felt her mane and her tail get pulled by the winds, static shocks making it stick in place. The Alicorn yelped as Applejack did the same.

"What in tarnation!?" AJ cried, swirls in her eyes and her hat askew.

Looking up Twilight saw the pink blur run through the rest of the town, not stopping for anything. For a second she thought it was Rainbow Dash, but she was in Cloudsdale on Wonderbolt business. She saw the pink blur then jump up and down in place before running back over, making another sonic boom and stopping in front of her...

It was Pinkie Pie.

"HeyyouguysIfoundthisreallycoolthingintheEverfreeforestafterIfelldownahillandflewpastDerpywhoIsaidHithenshesaidHithenIfellintoabushandIstartedwalkingandtheforestlookedreallycoolandhadalloftheseneatlookingthingsandIwishedyouweretheretotellmeaboutthembutyouweren'tandthatmademesadbutthenIfoundthesefivecansandIdecidedHeywhynottastethemandwhenIdidIgotallthissuperdupermegaenergyandnowIcantstopmyselffromrunning!kthxbai!" She said in one breath before running off again.

AJ crossed her eyes, still swaying. "Did ya catch any of that sugarcube?"

Twilight thought for a moment, trying to figure out what she was saying in the first place. She could pick out Everfree Forest and Energy. Her eyes widened. "Oh no..."

"What?" Applejack asked, trying to straighten out her mane.

"I think... Pinkie found those energy drinks from Earth."

Eyes growing in size, AJ asked. "Th' ones Dustchu brought with him?" Twilight nodded, "Oh dear."

"We're in trouble."

"Hmm... I wonder how everyone's doing in Ponyville?" Dustchu wondered, rubbing his scraggly chin in thought as he walked into the kitchen.

Sitting at the table, was his older sister. "Do you still think you got transported to another world that's fictional?" His sister asked, tapping a few things on her phone as she eyed her younger brother skeptically.

"Uh, yeah, I do. Unless that was a dream, which makes me wonder why there weren't any hot chicks serving me Doritos?"

"Maybe cause you suck?"

"Love you to sis."

Suddenly, out of thin air, a scroll appeared in a burst of green flame. Making his younger nephew, who was in the room at the time, scream in terror and run away screaming. "BLACK MAGIC!"

Dustchu grinned however at his sister's gawking expression, plucking the scroll and unrolling it and reading it. "Let's see here." He said, looking closely at the parchment... "Oh gawd."

"What?"

"Pinkie found my energy drink stash..."

"is that bad?"

"... She's going to go into overdrive mode... it won't be pretty."

"I CAN SEE TIME AND SPACE!" Pinkie cried, running faster than she's ever had before. She could see everything whizzing by her, she could see the past, the present and the future. She saw all her friends, she saw more cans of the tasty energy drinks, she saw a polar bear on a unicycle, and a strange man wearing a black shirt with the world Jerk on front cackling madly as he set fire to a building.

With another mad giggle she moved faster, blasting past houses, cities, oceans, deserts, and so on!

This was the day, she moved so fast, the world spun out of control, that time stopped for Pinkie, that she crossed over dimensions in just a matter of milliseconds, that she met millions, no... billions of individuals spread out across the multiverse.

A man in black/red armor with the initials N7.

A woman in a white dress and pointy ears who saved a very old and bearded man from death.

A short goblin named Tom.

A strange Doctor named Richtofen who had glowing blue eyes.

And a pirate who complained, asking why is the rum always gone?

That was the day she made billions of new friends...

It... was also the day Equestria and Equus as a whole outlawed energy drinks from earth, the multiverse had to be repaired in a sense from the unorthodox method of travel the pink mare used, and Dustchu was fined three hundred thousand bits for damages to most of Equestria and Equus, which was included in the letter.

"Dang it Pinkie!" Dustchu yelled, falling to his knees and yelling. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Hi Dustchu!" Said mare cried, popping out of his kitchen's oven and startling both him, his sister, and KJ, one of many dogs.

"Gah!"

Also the day Pinkie had to hide out with Dustchu and his family... that ended well.

"You got any cake?"

"... uh... no, Pinkie..."

"Let's make some!"

"No batter, or cake mix for that matter."

Pinkie fell to her knees, mane deflating as she cried. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" To the heavens above, all the dogs howling along with her cry of anguish.
