I woke up to a dull throb in my head. Groaning I sat up and placed a hand on my head, keeping my eyes closed. When I felt resistance from the hand I was raising to my head I finally opened my eyes. On my arm was a chain, following it with my eyes I saw it was attached to a wall. Lowering my arm I looked around some more and noticed the bars that made up one wall, the small window on the back one and the empty cells that was the rest of the prison. Looking out the window I saw I was still in the town, "Has to be the out skirts. Houses aren't grouped together enough.", I muttered to my self. Looking back at the chains holding my arms and legs I gave my arms a jerk and broke the chains, reaching down and breaking the chains on my legs. I lowered my cannons and blew out the back wall.
Transforming into my tank mode I rolled out of the prison and into the forest towards where I was getting a signal from my escape pod. Rolling through the brush, I kept my self alert to any large animals that could stand a threat. 'Rather not die today, I thought to my self as I rolled around a tree to big to just go over. Listening, I suddenly heard a huge roar, not to far from me. 'Don't go see it, don't go see it, don't go see it. OH ALL RIGHT!', I changed my direction and slowed my speed. Transforming I lowered my cannons and took out my guns. Inching forward I stopped behind a tree large enough to hide me and peeked around the edge. There I saw what looked like the animal on earth known as a lion but this one had wings like a bat and the tale from the bug also on earth known as a scorpion, it was also up to my wast.
Looking to see what it was hunting, I nearly slapped my self in the face when I saw the equine from before: Vinyl scratch. Next to her was the gray equine that I had saw holding her back after I had been ambushed from the back. Vinyl seemed to be trying to be fighting it off while the gray one just cowered. Before the huge beast could do anything I shot it with my cannons, one of its wings flying off, and red flying everywhere. I was shocked when I didn't stay down. The beast got up and roared at me, stepping out from behind the tree, I got in a defensive stance. It lunged at me trying to get me by surprise, and I fired a shot from my gun that was my hand. The shot caught it in the shoulder, but it still came after me, tackling my on the ground. Raising my arm to protect my self, it sank its teeth deep into it. I yelled out in pain. Using my still lowered cannons I shot it off of me before getting it up and repeatedly shooting it until I was sure it was dead.
Standing all the way up I cradled my wounded arm and looked at the two equines. The gray one was spilling it's lunch all over the ground and vinyl looked like she was going to join her. Raising my cannons and changing my guns back into hands I turned around and continued towards my escape pod, 'Got to get that medical kit. STAT!', I stepped past the last tree and there was my escape pod. "Cool", I vinyl say behind me, "You shouldn't have followed me.", I said, not turning around. "Uh Uh", She said. Turning around and lowering my cannons I let a shot loose, hitting the spot next to her making a small crater.
She didn't flinch
"You missed", she said in a flat tone, not even looking at the crater. Her gray friend however was shaking badly. Straitening up, I raised a brow, looking down at her. 'She's got my respect', Turning back around, I opened the pods door, reaching under the console and taking the emergency medical kit. Sitting down I took out the clamps and stopped the energon from flowing out and started to seal the puncture wounds shut. "What's that?", vinyl asked sitting down as well, her friend looking ready to bold. "A wielder. It super heats my armor and allows it to join together and get read of the hole.". Vinyl nodded, but obviously had no idea what I was talking about. Putting down the wielder, I pulled out three small energon cube's. "What are those?", Vinyl asked again, causing me to sigh, "This is energon. The life blood of all on my planet", I answered looking down at her, and the gray one who was starting to look a little less scared. Looking back at the cubes, "I'm not going to last long on this", I said. "Well, cant you just get some more?", Vinyl asked, rubbing her chin, "Not unless this landed on your planet ages ago.", I answered.
"Why ages ago?", the gray one asked, finally speaking, "Because if it didn't then your planet wouldn't have a big energon deposit to keep me going". "Yikes. How can you find this stuff?", Vinyl asked, "I may not have to. If you've stumbled on it centuries ago then you wouldn't know what you had". "So wait.", the gray equine interrupted, "Are you saying that what you live off of could be the most common mineral we see on a regular basis?", she asked, looking shocked. "Yes", I said, before opening one of the cubes and drinking it, "That tastes awful", I said, making a face once it was gone. "If it tastes bad then why do you live off of it?", the gray one asked, finally looking directly at me, "Medical grade, only to keep me alive", I said with a shrug.
"So...How do we get out of here?", the gray one asked, looking around. "Well have to walk back", Vinyl answered , looking at the way we came. "And risk getting eaten again? Not a chance", the gray one stated sitting down as an emphasis. "Don't worry we got turbo boost to protect us!", she said smiling at me. "No way, I'm not baby sitting you.", I said looking down at her, still sitting. "Pleeaaasseee!", vinyl begged. "NO!", I snapped at her. I could see the gears turning in her head as she processed my answer. "Fine then", she shrugged, walking away, "I mean your in an unknown jungle with unknown dangers, so I go so you can get to it". Gritting my teeth I stood up, "Give me a good reason I should take you with me, NOW!", I snarled. "Because....I can get you different samples of minerals to see if we have discovered that, what ever it was you need", see said after thinking a moment. "I can get that my self", I said turning around and crossing my arms trying to look like I didn't care. "No you cant", the gray one spoke up, finally joining the conversation. "Oh?", I whorled around, "How come?", I asked. "You broke out of jail, your moving up the wanted list and you already know that things here can harm you. You need us if you want any chance to make it here.", she said getting up. I growled at her, but considered what they where saying, 'She has a point, this could be one of many nations. and to get outside resources I need ruler help. SCRAP!, "Fine", I spat out forcefully.
"GREAT!", Vinyl exclaimed before turning back to the jungle, "Lets get going!". "Where not going that way", I said. "What do you mean?", the gray one asked. Looking at the sky I asked, "Are you afraid of heights?", and with out waiting for an answer I grabbed both of them and turned into my jet mode, flying back towards the town before ether of them could realize what had happened.
