Hello Mario Brothers.

The figure in the night brought something out of her cloak it glowed a lima bean green. that green, made the figure's skin appear almost human like, but, it was all the same, green; The purple cloak that the figure had was now an eerie black, due to the alley way hue.
The green star slept through anything, even the severest of circumstances. There is one thing however, it will not tolerate, that is an impure voice commanding it awake from its slumber. The figure recalled I must find the one who can wake it once more...
"Peach..." the voice rasped "You and your protectors shall pay a gruesome price for interfering with my plans before...and separating me from my treasured assistant." The figure's raspy voice stopped there.
The figure moved on going further into the shadows No one, no pony the wiser anything had happened at all.

Mario and Luigi awoke as well as Twilight and Spike. "Wake up sleepy heads!" Applejack's voice rang up to the windows.
"Aah!" Twilight screamed. "I completely forgot! Today's the day I gotta help Applejack and her cousin in Appaloosa!"
Rainbow dash flew into the window hearing her friend being uneasy about her forgetfulness "Twilight, is there anything you don't forget?"
"Rainbow Dash everypony from time to time." Twilight said shrugging it off.
"Not you, You're so organized that you can remember what you bought five weeks ago."
Twilight nervously chuckled. "I hadn't had time to show these guys around Ponyville.
"You know I'm sure these guys could handle their own out here," rainbow dash said. "Let's go help AJ and her cousin then we can give these guys the tour later."
Twilight accepted her friend's suggestion.
"Y'all comin'?" Applejack asked.
"We'll be right down!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"Well hurry up we're about to miss the train!" Applejack said anxiously. "And Bloomberg gets antsy just being alone!"
"Yea yea, we're coming AJ" Dash yelled out.
Mario hopped out of bed Luigi following suit and asked after that "What about us?"
"About that, we told Braeburn that it'd only be us six," Twilight said hurrying down the stairs of the library. "With that said, have a couple of fun days around ponyville."
"Well Luigi?" Mario asked as Twilight walked out the door
"Let's do it!" Luigi said High fiveing Mario.
The six, Mario and Luigi; had only recently met gave their sincerest farewells. Luigi waved his cap as the conductor yelled "All aboard!" Twilight and her friends were headed off to Apploosa. Mario and luigi were now on their own to explore Ponyville and the out lying area of the Everfree forest.
They were walking along in the center of town when they saw a mint colored mare just staring at them. as they passed her, she bolted off in excitement not saying much or doing much before or after bolting. Mario and Luigi didn't pay much mind to her though.
Mario and Luigi continued on their marry way and decided to enjoy some shopping. unfortunate thing was none of the shops accepted Mushroom coins. Nopony Mario and Luigi went to knew the exchange rate of bits and Mushroom coins and said after looking at them "We only accept bits, but If you leave a coin here I'll have a specialized pony take a look at it and tell you the value within a week." Mario and Luigi left one coin with somepony named Filthy Rich, and he promised to have the value within less than a day.
The bros continued through town when suddenly the mare who had run off in excitement had returned. she was so excited in fact she pummeled them.
"Mamma Mia..." the bros. said after the powerful tackle.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," the mint colored mare said. "My name's Lyra and I wanted to invite you to the Anthropology club. We've been a little unorganized, but I guarantee that there will be a meeting on that date below especially if you two can come!"
"I'll see what we can do." Mario said to Lyra.
"See ya around." Lyra said with sparkling eyes trotting off happily. Luigi was enchanted by Lyra but immediately after snapped to his senses. The bros. took a look at the flyer handed to them by the mare.
The date listed was sometime next year in summer this actually being fall. The bros. had a good amount of time before any anthropology club meeting so, they were good. They continued around town when suddenly they heard a loud argument.
"Vynal, How am I supposed to practice this ensemble with your constant racket!"
"How am I supposed to get this to Neon before tonight with you being so busy?"
Mario and Luigi couldn't seem to get that argument out of their head as they passed by the place so, they went up and knocked to see if they could help in any way.
A whitish mare came out of the house. "Can I help you?" she asked.
"We heard an argument, is there any way we could help?" Mario asked.
"Vynal who is it you know I don't practice well with others... Well except you sometimes, but, who is it?"
"I don't know, a couple of hairless monkeys-"
"We're the Mario brothers." Luigi said.
"Sorry, but I don't know the 'Mario brothers.'" the mare at the door said.
"Vynal what do they want?" the mare inside said.
"What's up, why'd you come here? We're very busy here and I don't see a whole lot you could do. Unless we had a plumbing leak but..." The mare said.
"We wanted to help out," Mario said
"They want to help, but I don't even know if they play an instrument or even know dubstep."
"Ugh just talking is wasting time, Bring them in I'd like to see who these monkeys are."
"Alright Tavi."the mare at the door came inside along with Mario and Luigi. They saw the setup of the house and saw that it was split almost 50-50 half to the mare that had invited them in and half to another grey mare already at a cello.
"We didn't call any plumbers, we need music expertise here." The gray mare said "and sorry for being rude, I'm Octavia."
"The name's Dj Pon3 and don't ware it out." the pony who'd invited them in said. "
The DJ leaned over whispering to Octavia, "And that's what I said before inviting them in."
"And pardon me asking, but what musical expertise do you two have?" Octavia asked, not giving what her cohort in music said.
Luigi got out an old tape recorder he'd always had on him. that tape recorder had a song track from the days he and mario were out in the Beanbean kingdom fighting baddies and the song he and Mario would listen to whenever fighting them. Luigi then said "I can help with beat if you need it."
Vynal wasn't completely sold on Luigi helping out, but she initially liked the idea.
"Well Mr. Red, you're with me, what Musical training do you have?" Octavia asked.
mario thought for a moment then brought out something he'd had in his cap as a memento from the very beginning. it was a box. as soon as mario began humming a tune the box played it back in a little 8-bit style.
"Woah, woah, woah," Vynal said "You have an 8-bit mixer?"
Mario wasn't too sure what this thing he had in his hands was but he was sure it was what Vynal had said. Vynal pushed Luigi aside to Octavia's part of the room and brought mario over to hers.
"alright then, Mr. Green Show me what you got..." Octavia said.
Luigi, then, at that moment, wished he'd gotten his instrument from home but he didn't... Starlow heard the wish and was on the case. She teleported to the Mario Bros. abode back in the mushroom kingdom and got Luigi's saxophone. the golden instrument was a thing of beauty and Jazziness that Starlow didn't want to bang it up.
"What do you mean you left it at home!?" was the first thing Starlow heard on her way back. she was close to Luigi when she did and let out a tremendous "Hello Yellow!" when she reappeared. All things stopped on both sides; Mario stopped helping Vynal and Octavia's questions to Luigi.
"Sorry to interrupt," she said. "But, I brought something from home Luigi." Starlow lobbed Luigi's saxophone down to him and He caught it with ease.
"Thanks!"Luigi said to back to the little helper on his team.
"No problem. see you later, I got something I have to do." she said disappearing as quickly as she'd appeared
Things resumed with the Mario bros Octavia and Vynal working diligently.

Starlow was now in a different dimension, one that reeked of chaos. "I know you two are here." she said aloud
"Oh well congratulations for finding my home." Discord said.
"Why'd you do what you did to Peach's Castle, and why are you holding Princess Peach captive?" Starlow asked
"I'm afraid that'd spoil the whole story my dear little sprite."
"Of course. But then again, this little cutscene could be me just collaborating with you but I'm too Loyal to turn just like that."
"You smart little thing."
"Just get her out of here." another voice rang in the background.
"Bowser?" Starlow asked
"Yeah what do you want ms. annoying shoes?"
"I want to put an end to what ever it is you're scheming." Starlow said plain and simple
"Well, I'm sorry to say but this visit is a failed trip because you don't even know what's to come do you?" Discord Rang in.
"Well, you're not wrong but I've had my fair share of adventures to know something's coming."
"Bwahaha. That's for Mr. Slithers to know and you to just fight through." Bowser said.
"Well, I'm blowing this popsicle stand..." Starlow said with a poof.
"Oh, she'll be back." Discord said.

Mario and Luigi Helped DJ Pon3 and Octavia piece together what they needed to have a peaceful afternoon after an hour of work. "Thank you ever so much Mario Bros." Octavia said bidding them a farewell.
With that out of the way, Mario and Luigi now had to ask Filthy Rich about the currency exchange. when going to his house, the bros found a note posted to the door. "I'm currently out at the post office be back tomorrow."
Mario and Luigi returned back to golden oaks library, and nopony or no one was at the library.
"Helloooo!" Luigi yelled out. with no response.
"Mamma mia," Mario said ready to hit the hay after some mario paint composer.
The evening was calm but not too calm. "Erugh!" a voice a long distance from the library huffed. "Where, where is Peach? This waiting is taking long enough." a colt passed by but didn't pay any mind to the figure in the distance. "They, will, PAY..." the figure said after the colt had passed.

The next morning Mario and Luigi headed out once again to Filthy Rich's house. the same note was posted as yesterday. Mario and luigi decide then to head to the Library. many of the ponies in Ponyville that day in the center of town would stop and stare but wouldn't do much else as Mario and Luigi passed. one pony however did; "Hello good sirs," she said. Her mane was a magenta with pink in the middle her cutie mark was wrapped up sweets. "I've been doing some scouting and have found new monsters in the everfree forest." She said
Mario and Luigi questioned this, but continued listening to what she had to say;
"The creatures in these photos haven't ever been Identified by any of the social media and are somewhat other worldly. I'd say you two are too. that's why I came to ask: have you ever seen these creatures before?" She asks them handing a folder to them with 'Classified' stamped in red across.
The brothers flipped open the folder and recognized these creatures immediately. A small brown mushroom with eyes and a mouth a goomba. a green or red colored two legged turtle. Koopa troopers. Mario and Luigi immediately told the mare.
"Ah, ok. Tell nopony that I was here, or even that I questioned you got it?" she said
Mario and Luigi accepted the terms then Mario asked "What's your name?"
To which the mare replied "Its..." the mare paused "Bonbon" she said running off with a classified folder.
Mario and Luigi continue on to the post office and finally catch up to The stallion who'd taken their coin yesterday.
"What do you mean I thought I made it absolutely clear that I needed that package today!" Rich said.
the mare at the counter said "It must've gotten lost in the mail."
"Well I want it found Post haste!" Rich said, stamping his hoof heavily on the ground. In doing so a large package came tumbling down on him. The contents of the package were now on the floor and it appeared to be a blender type machine. It was a mineral checker.
"Mr. Rich are you ok?" the mare behind the counter asked.
"I'm fine. I've just got a bit of a splitting headache is all," he said back. "And this is what I was looking for!"
"Well, I'm glad that it was just misplaced and not actually lost, lost." the mare chuckled nervously. "Anyway, I have other customers to attend to." she said noticing Mario and Luigi.
Rich turned and saw the ones who'd given him the strange coin. "Ah hello gentlecol- erm- gentlemen." Rich said to them. "I must apologize there was a mixup about the mail, and I'd needed that package here to discern the value of your currency here. I was just here to get the situation straightened up. I wish you a fine day and it's going to take about another hour to find out what value this coin has."
Luigi understood the mixup being that he's had to work for Professor E. Gadd before. Mario on the other hand was a little angered that this had happened in the first place. Rich left the post office and it was now the mailmare and the Mario brothers. "So, how may I help you two?" she asked.
"We were looking for Mr. Rich." Mario said
"He was supposed to get that coin analyzed for us by now, but, he had other things to do."Luigi said
"Ah I see," The mailmare said "Well, He walked out and just to be sure if you ever need to send a letter this is the place to do it. I'm the chief mailmare, Ditzy. would either of you care for a muffin?"
Mario passed, but Luigi indulged. Luigi took a bite and the muffin was unlike any other that Luigi had ever tasted, it was almost like his usual super mushroom except muffin flavored. Every bit of fiber and every bit of flavor that exploded in his mouth said mushroom muffin... Luigi was so taken aback by the awesomeness of the muffin that he'd almost forgotten, he wanted Mario to try this amazing muffin as well.
"Mario you have to try this!" Luigi said gleefully saving a mere half bite for his brother. Yet, that half bite was amazing. Mario couldn't deny that this muffin was the best he'd had too.
"Who makes these muffins?" Mario asked
"I do." Ditzy Replied back. "why?"
"This is the best muffin I'd ever had." Mario said.
"That's the best thing somepony has said about these muffins. usually ponies just leave their mail to get sorted and sent. Others usually complain because their mail is lost or misplaced, like Mr.Rich's. Not too many ponies sample my muffins."
Mario and Luigi decided to tip the mailmare for the best muffin ever while heading out. "Come again!" She yelled after them. It was for sure that they would to sample another awesome muffin.
The day just began and Mario and Luigi were at a loss as to what to do the remainder of the day. It was noon and still an hour before Mr. Rich, as he likes being called, finishes up figuring the value of a sole mushroom kingdom coin. as they waited in the center of town three rambunctious fillies ran through. they had a folder like what Mario and Luigi were given by Bonbon before.
"Cutie Mark Crusaders Monster hunters 2!!!" The three yelled out heading off on an adventure of their own.
"Get back here with that!" Bonbon said trailing behind the fillies.
They knew that there could've been trouble, and decided to go for the adventure. The Mario bros trailed Bonbon who was tailing the three filly thieves.
"Darn it, I lost them." Bonbon said at the entrence of a great forest. "Oh, its you two."
Mario and Luigi asked what was going on.
"Well these three fillies bumped into me while I was on my way to the post office to deliver that packet to princess Celestia. They saw that the contents was classified and well, once they opened the folder, they saw everything. the locations of those strange creatures called 'goobass?'" and that type of walking turtle soldier..."
Mario and Luigi corrected Bonbon.
"Anyway, I need the contents back and unharmed so that I can send this to the Princess. I'm sure you two can get those three out of trouble."
Mario and Luigi were off once again on an adventure. They scoured through the forest looking for any sign of the three fillies that had zoomed past them earlier.
"Hey! Over here, I think I found one of them!" came a voice not too far off from where they were. Mario and Luigi went through a dense part of the forest to find a clearing that showing an old broken down castle not far off in the distance. to the right they didn't hear much however to the left they saw the three fillies trying to battle a goomba and green para koopa.
two orange fillies took the front while a white one took the back. an orange pegasus flew up and began just hitting the para koopa with her hooves. The other earth pony bucked the goomba. Mario and Luigi were a little impressed that they'd managed to beat their foes. they took a victory pose then just took a breather. The white unicorn in back then noticed Mario and Luigi. "Aah there's two more!" she screamed.
Mario and Luigi explained the situation to the fillies.
"Huh, so, you came after us to make sure we're ok?" the pegasus filly asked.
Mario and Luigi nodded
The earth pony came up to them and said, "well, that was kind of you an' all, but you see we got things covered here as:" all three of them yelled "The Cutie Mark Crusaders Monster hunters 2!!!"
"Ugh, such racket!" another voice far off said. "Mind keeping it down!?"
"Another monster!" the unicorn said following the way to the other voice. the pegasus and earthpony followed. Mario and Luigi were once again dashing off to see what trouble they would cause. along the way, they got separated from the three fillies.
"Here we go again." Mario said

The cutie mark crusaders made it deeper in the forest loosing their perusers in the process.
Apple bloom was all alone "Guys where are ya?" she asked
"Right behind you." Scootaloo said.
"Thank goodness." Applebloom said. "Say, Where's Sweetie Belle?"
"I'm right here," Sweetie said. "And I'm making a few changes in this folder."
"Hmm, What does a soda call its father? pops!" A voice said off in the distance.
"Well that was a lame joke." Scootaloo remarked somewhat loudly.
"Scootaloo, shhhh!" both Sweetie and Applebloom said to her.
"Well, Whoever said that, what do you have in your arsenal of jokes?"
Sweetiebelle and applebloom were silent waiting for scootaloo to answer the voice of forest.
" "
There was silence for a moment then the voice said "Come over here, I'd like to hear more of those jokes.'
The Crusaders did so ready to tell their plethora of jokes to whomever had called them.
"Oh, so it was you three making the racket so I couldn't finish telling my jokes." a green plump figure said.
"You were what now? Scootaloo asked.
"Fermenting some soda. the figure said. "Care to have a taste?"
The three immediatly said yes.

Mario and Luigi heard the screams of the cutie mark crusaders. and hastened to their destination. Mario and Luigi came to a plump beanish figure standing next to a barrel. "What's a hippie's favorite soda? Granola cola." after he'd finished the joke he noticed Mario and Luigi. "You!" he said angrily. "You won't mess up my second Chuckola Cola blend as easily you did the first!" he said. "and to you three just hanging around, The name's bubbles. I've been crafting the Chuckola Cola reserve for over a thousand years, surely its taste is going to be bitter to the young." he said revealing the cmc stuck in barrels "We'd really appreciate your help right about now!" the earth pony yelled.
"Oh, Chuckolator!" Bubbles called." A monster soda came from the barrel ready to fight. Mario and Luigi were ready.
The monster had a shield and a sword ready to fight. "Hey red guy!" Scootaloo said. Mario looked up to the barrel and scootaloo tossed a hammer down to Mario "This should help you beat the crazy soda guy!" she said.
"Hey greeny I got sometihng for you too," Sweetie belle said tossing down a hammer. Luigi was less than graceful catching it.
The Chuckolator roared ready once more to battle.
Being well veresed in Hammer attacks and having impressive jumping skills to begin with mario and Luigi began wailing on the Chuckolator. the soda attacked with all its might to get the mario bros the tiniest bit sticky, but all those attempts failed. with continued attacks the massive soda retracted back to its barrel. Bubbles returned to the side of battle to heal his creation "you must battle me, the great bubbles if you wish to continue on destroying what I've worked so hard to create again!"
Mario and Luigi now had two targets to get rid of and began separately attacking Bubbles and the Chuckolator. Bubbles having tons of jokes up his sleeves but no battle experience fell immediately. leaving the Chuckolator to fend for its self. The attacks shot at the mario bros were desperate and at best mediocre to what they've faced before. but, the challenge of an old foe returning was an interesting one.
The Chuckolator returned to its barrel "Nooooo!" Bubbles yelled defeated once more sobbing. "All I wanted to do was create the worlds best soda but here I stand defeated to you superstars once again..."
Mario and Luigi were disappointed to have crushed someone's dreams when all they were trying to do was save these little fillies. Mario explained the situation to Bubbles while Luigi got the cutie mark crusaders down from the tree. "You say you were saving these fillies I say you have Ruined my dreams!" Bubbles yelled in a thick french accent still sobbing.
"Listen, um, barrel guy," Scootaloo said.
"What do you three want any how?" Bubbles said
"We wanted to say sorry." Sweetie Belle said
"All three of us know what its like to be so close to something yet have it be again just too far out of reach." Applebloom said.
"Your words are consoling." Bubbles said slightly calming from his crying fit. "but, what has happened here will make my dream never happen."
The cutie mark crusaders huddled around in a circle for a moment secretly discussing something. it took a couple moments but they broke from their huddle then Applebloom said, "You told us that that Chucko- whatever it was grew based on the jokes it was told right?"
"Yes, indeed," Bubbles said "But-"
He was immediatly cut off by applebloom "My sister's friend Pinkie Pie is the funniest pony in Ponyville. I'm sure she'd help you make another batch."
Bubbles was relieved but then said "the special fruit though, how will I-" this time he was cut off by Scootaloo.
"There's this really awesome fruit punch pony who's good at finding fruit," she said "I'm sure she'd be able to help you."
Bubbles got up completely and decided to follow the fillies and Mario and Luigi to the exit of the forrest.
"There you two are did you get the files back?" Bonbon asked. Starlow came out of Mario's pocket.
"yow! what are you? Bright ball?" Bonbon asked.
"The name's Starlow, I'm a starsprite and no relation to a parasprite." she said to Bonbon who quickly jotted what she said down in a notebook. "And you?" she asked the plump green guy next to Luigi.
"Bonjour, The name is Bubbles. I am the worlds best brewer of soda."
"if that's so why haven't I heard of a Bubbles before." Bonbon commented to herself taking more notes down in her notebook.
"I wish to find a good punch maker in your town do you know of one?" Bubbles asked Bonbon.
"The only one I know is actually Berry Punch, that or Applejack. But Applejack just specializes in apple juice, cider and anything apple.
"I wish to meet one of them." Bubbles said ready to go to town
The day was slowly coming to a close the sun was setting and the evening was about to begin. There was a mare about a tone darker than the Chuckolator in color.
"She is the one!" Bubbles exclaimed and quickly went over to see Berry Punch.
"Uh, Bonbon what's going on?" she asked
"Just roll with it." Bonbon replied back to Berry Punch.
The sun continued to set. The cutie mark crusaders hightailed it home. Bubbles found somepony to help him with his soda and the day was almost complete. Little did the Mario brothers know that one more encounter awaited them. there were two figures silhouetted against the backdrop of the ending day one of a stallion the other of an old man. Luigi knew exactly who the old man was.
"Well lookie here." the man said
"Ah, who are these gents then E. Gadd?" the stallion asked.
"They're the Mario brothers I've been telling you about." E. Gadd said.
"You mean to say..."
E.Gadd just shook his head yes.
"I've been researching the merits of time travel since I was just a mere foal and now I've meet somepo- somebody who's actually done it!" Its the best day of my life!!" The stallion yelled. "uh, sorry good sirs, I've forgotten to introduce myself. I'm Dr. Whooves. he said putting out a hoof for a shake. Mario and Luigi both shook his hoof
"Now, tell me good gents, what's it like time traveling?"
Starlow caught wind of that last line then said: "Sorry doc, Spoilers."
Professor E Gadd saw Starlow and was caught off guard "Yowzer!" he yelled.
"Oh, Professor E. Gadd? What are you doing here? I thought it was just Mario and Luigi who got teleported here." Starlow asked.
"Well, That's just it. I don't know what even happened," E. Gadd said. I was studying boos and their strange properties to see if I could make any adjustments to the Poltergust 5000. When out of the blue me and the Poltergust just so happened to appear in this youngster's house. I tell you, It was quite the shock to the both of us."
"I swear I've never been so shocked before in my life." Dr. whooves interjected "But, as soon as we saw one another, I knew he could help me achieve time travel."
"And I somehow knew this youngster could help me a little with the Poltergust upgrades," Professor E. Gadd said. "To add to the subject, I've never seen a starsprite before. I've only seen a fake up on star hill back when you guys did that time travling thing. would you mind if I ask you a few questions uh-"
"Starlow." the sole starsprite replied. "and I don't mind answering a few, just as long as they're appropriate."
"Alrighty, Well, Enjoy the rest of your day," E. Gadd said. happily walking off with Starlow in tow.
"I just want to know what it was like time traveling." Dr. Whooves moped a little walking off with the professor.
Mario and Luigi headed back to the Golden oaks Library after an event filled day. It wasn't long before the others soon arrived. "who knew the answer to the problem was Apple Pie?" Twilight said recalling her day.
"Ooh hi Mario! Hi luigi!" Pinkie said bounding in.
The rest piled in bushed from that days travles and the tails of woe triumph and much more.
"So," Mario said. "How was your day?"
"It was as event filled as a lot of the other ones I've had here." Twilight said
"ooh and it can be summed up in one song!" Pinkie blurted.
"Pinkie," Dash said "You've already weirded me out enough for one day. I'm out." Dash said
"Oh don't be a party pooper Dashie." Pinkie called "Besides I left the costume back at Apploosa."
"Here we go..." Dash admited in defeat.
"Ya gotta share~ Ya gotta care~" Pinkie started singing.
Mario and Luigi lost the remainder of their combined health points listening to the song.
"What? was it really that bad?" Pinkie asked. the night continued on and both Mario and Luigi were carried to bed by twilight and spike as Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy and Pinkie all headed out.

The shadow from the previous night watched the fun as it transpired inside the library. "Peach... Where are you..." the Raspy voice said
"Somepony out there?" Pinkie said going towards the window of the library to peek. she saw nothing but a feeling in her body told her she was being watched.
Cackletta wouldn't let herself be caught so easily as last time. she waited and continued on in her head. 'I'm lost If Princess Peach doesn't show herself soon. she must be near those loathsome pests. This would be so much easier with Fawful, but I seem to have lost him somewhere. but at least I have you.' Cackletta pet the bearstar within her cloak. 'you are worth everything. every ounce of pain they have caused me, every second I'm stuck doing My minion's job, everything that has failed will not this time. "I shall prevail!" a shout escaped Cackletta's lungs but, there was nothing outside to hear her. or so she thought;
"A-ha I knew somepony was out here Pinkie showed up behind Cackletta.
