Chrysalis was confused she asked “you aren’t going to wreck the planet are you?”
Hydoria said “no where’s the fun in that? Besides you can’t break the moral of any civilization by total devastation when watching them tear themselves apart is much more fun.”
Chrysalis thought for a moment “yes I remember the fun my subjects and I had in Canterlot when they dive-bombed the city.
Hydoria smiled and said “then you know how much fun it will be to bring this planet to its knees.”
Chrysalis grinned wickedly the said “and finally get revenge on those who banished us.”
Just then a shadow began to move over their heads looking up Chrysalis saw a huge ship passing over head. it was large the front was a pointed wedge shape the mid-section was long it looked to be about 25 m long. It was slender and rectangular the aft section was larger than the mid-section. There were 2 curved fins on the sides and a protrusion in the back.
She looked at Hydoria he was smiling he said “they’re here.”
Chrysalis was confused. Hydoria turned to Kalios and nodded.
As the ship landed Kalios said “follow me.”
They walked up to the ship as a hatch opened and descended into a ramp they walked up the ramp. The interior of the ship was impressive. The room they were in was round computer consoles on one sides and chairs in front of them. Kalios turned to Chrysalis said “follow me I’ll show you the Blatomars.”
They went to a lift and Kalios said “cargo holds.”
The lift activated and began to descend. Then the doors opened and revealed a room they walked along a corridor and soon came to 2 cages inside where 2 Blatomars they were being restrained by collars and chains behind energy bars.
Kalios said with a smile “we are going to let these monsters loose on an unsuspecting town.”
Chrysalis smiled and said “do they have any weaknesses?”
Kalios said “they are not invulnerable if that’s what you mean they can be killed but it’s very hard to do.”
As they left the ship Kalios met Hydoria and said “operation Tormak will begin in 2 dormas.”
Hydoria said “good.”
At the same time outside Ponyville in Twilight’s castle Zackmar’s communication device begins to beep. He pulls it from his belt opens it and says “Zackmar here.”
A feminine voice replied “Sandarian command officer 236-221. I am currently in orbit what is your location?”
Zackmar said “lock on to this signal.”
The voice said “acknowledged”
Zackmar and the 6 ponies and Spike went outside the castle. A short time later a ship similar to the one that crashed in the everfree forest came into view and soon landed. The hatch opened and descended into a ramp a being walked down the ramp. She wore a necklace similar to the one Zackmar wore. Twilight thought about she looked the Canterlot high counterparts only slightly different. Her skin was reddish yellow she turquoise eyes and dark reddish hair.
She saluted and said “greeting my name my name is Synora Ozeri I was sent to assist.”
Zackmar said “you’re a Geyorian aren’t you?”
Synora nodded Zackmar said “I’ve heard of your species you can do telekinesis and project our consciousness to other locations right? Wait are you all there is?”
Synora nodded Zackmar sighed “I guess anything is better than nothing."
He smiled and said “I would like you to meet my friends they rescued me when my ship crashed on this planet.”
He introduced them Twilight said “welcome to Equestria.”
Zackmar looked over at Pinkie and he could see that it’s time for a party look in her eyes as she smiled. He just smiled then turned to Synora and explained the situation with his ship and the Pontian’s and the recent attack.
She said “this is not good 2 hendars ago Coues was destroyed by some graviton beam weapon.”
Zackmar was stunned he lowered his head. The 6 ponies and dragon just sat down as they looked at each other none of them saying anything.
Zackmar said I have the plans to the weapon on my ship however, the extent of the damage to the computer is unclear. Most of the systems were damaged.”
Synora thought for a moment and said “I have an idea. If we link the computer systems I can upload the information from your ship what is its status?”
Zackmar said “severely damaged the computer is damaged and the hull is breached.”
Synora asked where is it?”
Zackmar said “in a forest just outside town.”
Synora went inside her ship Zackmar and the ponies followed the interior was similar to Zackmar’s ship. The only difference the consoles were active and it did not looked wrecked. Synora pressed a few buttons the ship lifted up and soon they were over it the ship crashed.
She asked what happened?"
He told her the events that lead to him being marooned on the planet.
Synora said “attempting to access computer files some of the files have been damaged."”
After a status bar scrolled across the screen she said “all I could obtain was 45% the rest are either missing or corrupted.”
Zackmar asked “what did you manage to retrieve?”
Synora looked over the files and said “nothing of any significance.”
When they returned to Ponyville a grey pegasus mare with blonde a mane and tail comes speeding in she lands panting out of breath
Rainbow says “hi Derpy what’s the rush?”
Derpy says in a panic “Rainbow Dash I’ve been looking for you there’s is a horned monster attacking Cloudsdale Spitfire and the Wonderbolts are evacuating the city.”
Zackmar said “it’s back.”
Synora asked what’s back?”
Zackmar said “the flying Malctitude.”
Synora laughed Malctitudes can’t fly”
Zackmar said "this one can I’ll explain later right now we need weapons.” Turning to the ponies he said “I need a volunteer to be scanned for weapons fitting.”
Rainbow Dash stepped forward Zackmar said “computer scan this pegasus.”
A blue green light came out and went over the cyan pegasus.
Zackmar said “computer construct 3 particle cannons for pegasi.”
The device hummed and 3 dual cannons appeared he placed one on Rainbow it fit snugly. He pointed to a round flat plate “to fire pull your foot-er hoof here and push down to fire.”
He placed the cannons on both Derpy and Fluttershy who was nervous he smiled and said “if you want I can loan you my invisibility belt.”
She looked at Rainbow and Derpy and shook her head “no thank you I want to help defend my home.”
Zackmar nodded in understanding smiled then fitted Derpy he watched as the 3 pegasi left the ship and flew off towards Cloudsdale. They landed suddenly the ground began to shake a thunderous rumble could be heard.
An earth pony ran past screaming “MONSTERS!”
Synora ran inside the ship and did a scan she came out seconds later “there are 2 Blatomars headed this way!”
Zackmar asked “how far?”
Synora replied “152 meters”
Twilight lifted up into the air her horn glowed as she raised a wall of magic in front of the monsters. They slammed into the wall causing it to vibrate and ripple.
Twilight landed then said “Applejack you Pinkie and Rarity evacuate the town” as the 3 ran off to evacuate the town."
Twilight said “Zackmar do those monsters have any weaknesses?”
Zackmar said “not that I know of” turning to Synora he asked “do you know of any?” She shook her head.
Twilight said “you better think of something fast they’re beginning to crack the wall.”
Rarity came back and said “Applejack and Pinky are leading the citizens to the castle of the 2 sisters.”
Twilight said “good work you can join them if you wish.”
Rarity said “what about you 3?”
Suddenly the shield shattered and the rampaging beasts come charging crashing through houses and businesses.
Twilight said “you better go with them well handle this.”
Rarity nodded and left to join the others. Then Zackmar has an idea “Twilight can you do a teleportation on an object and send it somewhere else?”
Twilight said “I’m not sure I’ve only done self-teleportation and I have teleported others but only with me.” A deafening roar was heard as the monsters came closer.
Synora said “I will assist as best I can.”
Twilight asked “how?”
Synora said “I’ll show you and explain later” they went to the center of town where the creatures were rampaging.
Synora said softly “I hope this works.”
As she raised her hands and the monsters were lifted into the air. Twilight’s horn glowed as an aura of purple magic enveloped the monsters. They were suspended in midair they struggled to get free. Twilight tried to hold them in place as they struggled against the magic field. They faded in and out suddenly she collapsed as the field disappeared is a flash and sparks. The monsters were still suspended in the air Synora decided to do the only thing she could think of she levitated the monsters away from Ponyville and high into the air. They came crashing down with a huge thud the ground shook as a huge cloud of dust rose into the air. An eerie salience filled the air Twilight staggered to her hooves Synora sighed in relief.
Twilight still shaky groaned and asked “what happened to the monsters?”
Synora said “I took care of them after you passed out.”
As they walked back to the ship Synora explained how she dealt with the monsters.
Twilight said “I didn’t know you knew magic.”
Synora said “magic? What I did is something my species does naturally I just received these abilities a few days ago. ”
Twilight said “I don’t understand.”
Synora said “my species goes through 2 changes. The 1st is our reproductive maturity the 2nd is our physiological maturity is where we develop other abilities. Our reproductive maturity begins we reach the age of 16-20 the 2nd is when we reach the age of 25-31 that is where we develop telekinetic abilities among others. Just how many we are not told it’s a Geyorian tradition to discover all of our abilities on our own.”
At the same time in Clousdale the Wonderbolts have successfully evacuated the city the Malctitude is having a hard time wrecking the city. It tried to land on a building only to quickly sink and fall through soon Rainbow Dash, Derpy and Fluttershy appeared.
Rainbow said “hey ugly why don’t you go “censored! Then you can go censored! With a censored!”
Both Fluttershy and Derpys’s mouths dropped open at the list of colorful metaphors and unflattering remarks emanating from Rainbows mouth. The beast was not amused it just glared at her with a scowl that could only say why you. It roared and spewed a stream of fire at them the 3 scattered but the beast decided to chase Rainbow she flew faster than the creature. She swung around to bring the monster in their direction suddenly she banked downwards Fluttershy locked eyes with the beast. Her eyes grew wide and she tried her stare the beast. It just growled and spewed fire at her she dodged the stream the beast continued to chase Rainbow Dash.
As she lead it around again and screamed “NOW!”
Both Derpy and Fluttershy fired their weapons striking the beast the recoil sent them back as 4 red energy bolts struck the beast as it vanished in a cloud of smoke.
Rainbow cheered “OH YEAH!” Fluttershy seemed a little unsettled she landed on the clouds.
Rainbow noticed this and said “you ok there Fluttershy?”
She looked up at Rainbow and said “I hope I never have to do that again.”
Both Rainbow and Derpy landed Rainbow asked “what’s wrong?”
Fluttershy said “when i stempted my stare I locked eyes with it I could feel its contempt and hatred it almost dared me to fire my weapon.”
Both Rainbow and Derpy looked at each other than at Fluttershy Rainbow asked “you going to be alright?”
Fluttershy nodded Rainbow turned to Derpy and said “find the Wonderbolts tell them Cloudsdale is safe for now.”
Derpy nodded and flew away Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy returned to Ponyville and they met up with Zackmar and Synora.
Rainbow looked around and asked “where’s Twilight?”
Zackmar she went into the forest to some place called the castle of the 2 sisters to bring the citizens back."
At that moment Twilight appeared followed by Rarity, Applejack and the rest of the Ponyville citizens. Unknown to any of them one of the citizens broke from the group and went into the forest. Once clear of the group the pony was enveloped in a circle of green magic. Then reverted to the form of a changeling then flew off to meet Chrysalis at the secret base. Once the citizens returned Pinky threw a welcome to Ponyville for Synora and a saved the town party.
Meanwhile at the base Hydoria, Kalios and Chrysalis were gathered at a table Kalios and Hydoria were sitting in chairs Chrysalis was sitting on a cushion.
Hydoria said “soon the moral of the citizens will be broken. Once the town and city falls we will come in and rebuild them.”
Just then a changeling minion came in Chrysalis said “ahhh my minion brings news.”
The changeling glared at Chrysalis she nods and then gets an angry look and screamed “THEY WHAT!?”
The minion backed away and left Chrysalis turned to the 2 at the table and said “the Blatomars were killed and the state of the Malctitude is unknown they are getting assistance from the Sandarian’s”
Hydoria was livid he slammed 2 of his fists onto the table “THAT’S IT NO MORE GAMES!”
He pressed a button on the table a voice replied “yes my lord?”
Hydoria said “contact Metzel tell him I wish to speak with him.”
Chrysalis asked “who is Metzel?”
Hydoria grinned wickedly and said “my secret weapon. The what do you call her princess will surrender and we will rule”
Chrysalis grinned wickedly. Then a voice came through a voice said “Domaria to Hydoria.”
Hydoria pressed the button and said “Hydoria here.”
Domaria said "Metzel is standing by on hologram.”
Hydoria said “acknowledged” he pressed another button and a hologram of Metzel appeared.
He bowed and said “greetings Hydoria I heard you are looking for me.”
Hydoria said “yes I require your special talents for a mission” Metzel smiled.
Hydoria said pressing a few buttons “lock on to these coordinates”
Metzel said coordinates received I am in the Narckmorian system. I will arrive in 3 deptons.”
Hydoria said “understood.”
He rolled his hands and said “Kalios take notes this is how you take over a planet when all else has failed.”
Kalios just shook his head. Chrysalis said nothing but wondered if Hydoria was underestimating the power of Equestrian magic. She thought back to the time she tried to take over Canterlot and what happened when she got over confident and let her guard down.
At the same time in Ponyville Zackmar and Synora placed a shield generator in the center of town it emanated a sky blue shield over the town.
Zackmar said to all the citizens “this shield will protect you from any future attacks just press this button here.” Pointing to a glowing button he pressed it and the shield dispersed turning to Twilight he said “we should install the same things in Canterlot and the Crystal Empire.” Twilight nodded he turned to Synora and asked “how long will it take to replicate 2 more?”
Synora thought for a moment and said “about 2 mortoms.”
He said “we should go to Canterlot and salvage those ships”
Synora said “I’ll work on the generators and meet you there.”
Zackmar nodded he and the others boarded a train and departed for Canterlot. As they rode on the train he could not shake the feeling something strange was going to happen something big.
He told the others this and Pinkie said “Zackie sense?”
He smiled and said “yes I feel something big is coming.”
Applejack asked “do ya know what?”
Zackmar said “no but I began to feel it as soon as we left the station.”
When they arrived in Canterlot everything seemed to be alright nothing out of the ordinary. A royal guard said he saw Princess Luna in 2 different places and that she seemed to be acting strangely. Zackmar and the others looked onto the courtyard where the Pontian ships crashed during the attack. There were several ponies doing what they could to repair the damaged ships. Zackmar walked over to a ship it seemed to be operational he climbed inside it and placed the interface helmet on his head. The ships console lite up the ship rose into the air and moved to the left then the right.
He landed the craft and approached the ponies working on the craft and asked “how many do you have operational?” The pony replied “just the one it was not badly damaged we don’t know enough about the technology to repair them.”
Zackmar thought for a moment then raised his wrist and pressed a button on his wristband “Zackmar to Synora.” A voice replied “Synora here” Zackmar said “if you’re not busy could you join us in Canterlot?”
Synora said “I’m on my way wait I don’t know where you are.”
Zackmar said “lock onto my signal”
She said “acknowledged.”
A short time later Synora’s ship appeared and landed nearby with a shield generator as the rpyal guards set it up. Synora assisted with repairs. She walked up to a ship that was stuck in the ground she used her telekinesis to pull it out of the ground. The ship was severely damaged the front was crumpled and the aft section was broken off. She examined it using a scanner and found the engines were inoperably damaged.
At the same time in Canterlot castle a guard spotted Luna walking along the corridor. He said “hello Luna your up early today”
Luna turned and said “oh yes I am going to rest up for later I am not to be disturbed.”
The guard said “of course your highness.”
He watched as Luna rounded a corner and disappeared. He thought for a moment that was weird Luna is never up this early and she did not say we. As Luna walked down the corridor she soon came to 2 doors on either side of the room he one on the left had a sun on it. The seams of the door divided the sun into equal parts. Looking to the right the room had a moon and stars on it like the other room the seam went down the center of the picture. Looking around a second time Luna shifted her form to a bipedal being with blue green skin. The being placed a belt around his waist and disappeared. In the royal chambers Luna was sleeping when a door opened and closed by itself.
In the courtyard Zackmar could not shake the feeling something bad was either happening or about to. It was minor during the ride over but now it was overwhelming turning to Twilight he said “I feel something bad is going on you better tell Celestia to up the security just in case."
Twilight nodded and flew towards the castle as she approached she noticed something shimmering. It looked like the sun’s rays were bent slightly and whatever it was it was moving away from the castle. Twilight flew faster and soon found Celestia talking to a guard about casual things.
When Twilight said “princess can I speak to you alone?”
Celestia nodded as the guard left Twilight told her about Zackmar’s reservations and the shimmering light she saw near the castle.
Celestia said “I will increase security and we should speak to Luna about this.”
Twilight nodded as they went to the royal chambers Celestia knocked on Luna’s door no response. She knocked again no response she pushed the door open and aid “Luna you in her-?”
The room was empty and the bed was unmade on it was a small box.
