A few weeks had passed since the wedding and much has happened. Both me and Charming have been learning to further our control over our medallions. We’ve been sparing, extending our control to use the very might of the medallions. Charming had finally achieved Level 2 of his Medallion’s power while I’ve finally achieved Level 3, the final form. I’ve further my power by able to create constructs from Unicron’s Dark Energy. I can dark energy arm cannons, dark energy spears that can explode, even create dark energy swords, maces, etc. While some do saw that I’ve reached my full potential, I doubt it. Also, some changes were made for our empires. The Elements of Insanity had gained some new Insanity Freaks, one of them able to use Shadow Magic, which is rare power from what I’ve heard from my mother. I also recovered some more dark spirits, the new ones were Slade, Nightmare Moon, and even Charming’s Dark Side Spirit that somehow lived on. My empire was able to do aquatic battles now and the Equestrian Empire were still working on ways to make aquatic battles possible. Our allies, the Minotaur Empire, had rejoined us and all attempts to contact the Zebra Borg were not possible, considering that Adjutant had not rejoined. But I do believe she had fled to the Zebra Lands. Several different lands like the Dragon and Deer Lands have disconnected themselves from the world. Celestia has been attempting to contact the Deer lands but they are a peaceful race, not really into war. I discovered the Argonian Tribes have been at alert since our Empires combined and I couldn’t help but smirked at a challenge. The Timberwolf Clan has refused to sign any treaty, which made me a bit mad. But I didn’t mind them since they were weak. Finally, the Spectral Shadows had refused to sign the treaty with the Equestrian Empire and I didn’t attempt it since I don’t trust ghosts of Equestria that weren’t under my control. The Mane 6 left to go somewhere far in Equestria and we wished them good luck.
Me and Charming were using practice sticks that looked like swords [Similar to the ones from Star Wars: The Old Republic for Jedi or Sith]. We kept clashing, not losing an inch of ground. When we were about to clash, something popped in my mind and I heard voices in a distant.
A female voice said “…I don't blame you for what you tried to do here today. You've spent your whole lives thinking those marks are a good thing.”
Next thing I heard was Twilight’s voice, very angry from the sound of it.
Twilight demanded “Give them back to us or you will regret it!”
The same female voice replied “Well, now you can spend the rest of your lives here with us! And we'll teach you just how much better life can be without your cutie marks!”
Rainbow threatens and warns “Just you wait Starlight! Danny Eclipse and Charming Thunder will notice our disappearance and you won’t live to see the light of day again when Danny gets his hooves on you!”
Starlight replied “Let them come, they will suffer the same fate like you.”
The vision ended, my eyes were glowing purple. Reality returned to my eyes and Charming was staring at me.
Charming asked “Danny, you ok?”
“Twilight and the others are in trouble…” I said.
Charming demanded “Are you sure!?”
“Would I ever lie to you Charming? I saw a vision of them, a vision of the force. I know they are in trouble.”
Charming asked “Do we know where they are?”
“No…but I bet Spike does.”
Charming said “Time to go pay Spike a visit.”
I nodded and we left, taking the Rogue Shadow together since traveling as a group is a good idea.
We arrived to Ponyville and landed near Twilight’s Castle. We got out; Charming and me went to find Spike and we found him in the castle. We went over to him to chat.
Charming asked “Spike, do you know where Twilight and the others are at?”
Spike said “I think so…there is a map of Equestria inside the castle.”
“A map?” I asked confused.
Spike led us inside and we went to where the throne room would be at and we see a large table that had an auto projection of Equestria on it. There was a glowing signal on the map and we looked at it. When we finished looking at it, we went back to the Rogue Shadow and began to head to that location at fast speeds.
The Rogue Shadow landed near a town that was position to an equal sign. I was confused and we went down to see what was going on. My eyes were still neon green but underneath that was purple. I looked around at the locals as we walked in, not trusting anyone. They all kept saying “Welcome” and Charming was about to reply until I stopped him.
“Don’t talk to them. I trust them as much as I can throw them. Something fishy is going on and I don’t like it.” I told Charming in a cautious tone.
We kept walking around, they kept saying “Welcome” but I ignored them. We came across a house that had two ponies guarding a door and some banging against the door was going on. I didn’t think about it but my heart kept telling me to investigating it. We kept going until we came across a white earth pony.
The Earth Pony said “Welcome to our town.”
“We are pleased to come but we came in urgency.”
The pony asked “Why?”
Charming said “Well, my brother here-“
“That’s classified.”
Charming looked at me in confusion and I leaned to him to whisper.
“In my vision, I heard the name “Starlight” and I think they may be connected to her. We can’t give them any information until they are trustworthy.” I whispered my explanation to him.
Charming knew what I meant and nodded in agreement.
Charming said “Our business is our own. Who are you?”
The Earth Pony replied “I’m Double Diamond and I’m the 2nd in charge here.”
“Can you take us to the leader of this town?” I asked politely
Double Diamond replied “Our leader is Starlight Glimmer. I would gladly take you to her.”
My interest grew when I heard “Starlight” and mentally smiled.
“Do take us. I’m dying to meet her in person.”
Double Diamond began to walk us to Starlight’s house. Charming knew that this was going to be bad.
We arrived to Starlight’s house and he knocks on the door.
Diamond shouted “Starlight, we have visitors!”
He walked inside and we followed him. The door opened, revealing a light lavender unicron. She had purple mane with teal headline. She had purple eyes and I recognized her from my vision.
Diamond said “Starlight, these two wanted to talk to you.”
Starlight greeted “Welcome to our town strangers. We are glad to have you here.”
I recognized her voice instantly and my medallion began to glow.
Charming said “So…YOU are Starlight.”
Starlight replied “Yes I am. Can I give you a tour?”
“You can take us to our friends, Starlight, unless you want to die.” I said in mixer of normal and demonic voice
Starlight gasped and began to back up. Purple markings began to spread around my body and my eyes turned purple.
“I believe we haven’t introduced ourselves yet. My name is Danny Eclipse and this is my twin brother, Charming Thunder. We are here to locate our friends and take back what’s rightfully theirs. Their Cutie Marks!” I declared.
Starlight began to back up. She honestly didn’t take the threat seriously but now she was starting to regret it. She had a plan and tried to act normal.
Starlight said “I can take you to your friends. They are up at the Cutie Mark Vault and I’ll gladly take you there.”
My markings began to subside but my eyes remained purple. Starlight began to lead us away from town.
We arrived to a cave and went inside. We instantly saw a massive glass wall and saw all the Cutie Marks. We were shocked to see so many. Then we noticed them. The Mane 6 Cutie Marks, my anger began to grow and we looked around, not finding the mane 6. However, we noticed Starlight at some sort of staff. We lifted it with her magic and began to hold it.
Starlight said “Behold the Staff of Sameness. We use it to separate our Cutie Marks. It was a great mage Meadowbrook's one of nine enchanted items. Do you want to see how it works?”
Before we could reply, she fired the power at Charming and me. Charming pushed me away and he got hit by it. He was struggling as his Cutie Mark was being taken away. I looked how it worked and smirked. Starlight threw Charming’s Cutie Mark into the vault and on Charming’s flank became an equal sign. Starlight looked at me with a grin.
Starlight said darkly “Your turn.”
“Try on me, I dare you. I promise you that I’m not going to join you.”
Charming shouted “Danny, run!”
“No way!”
Starlight fired the power of the staff at me and it hit me. I smiled when I wasn’t struggling and the power didn’t faze me. Starlight gasped when she saw what was going on. My Cutie Mark was not moving at all or being torn off like the others. Diamond and Charming gasped in shock as well.
Starlight shouted in disbelief “Impossible! Your Cutie Mark-“
“I’m no ordinary pony. I’m a Halfa!”
Starlight asked “Halfa?”
“Halfa! Half Pegasus, Half Ghost!”
They all gasped. Charming wasn’t surprised but wondered why being a Halfa was so important.
“You see…back when I was a no more than a foal, I didn’t have a cutie mark back then. My mother, Princess Luna, became Nightmare Moon when I was no more than four years old. After Princess Celestia banished her to the moon, Clockwork came to make a request. He offer to train me to ready myself to defend Equestria. But the only way to learn Ghost Power was to become a Halfa. I became a Halfa at the age of four. When you become a halfa, your appearance becomes permanent, meaning that I would NEVER have a Cutie Mark! So, Clockwork improvised and tattooed a Cutie Mark to my flank so when I grow up, I wouldn’t be a blank flank in public. Don’t you get it? WHEN BECOMING A HALFA, I WOULD NEVER GET MY CUTIE MARK!! MY TATTOOED CUTIE MARK IS FOR SHOW, I’M A BLANK FLANK FOREVER UNDERNEATH!!!” I explained, savoring every word that made Starlight worry even more.
They all gasped. The staff couldn’t work on blank flanks and my cutie mark was tattooed, not earned. Starlight began to notice that she lost the advantage she had before.
“Also, nice idea by the way. Using a made up piece of wood to make it look like it is an actual staff.”
Starlight asked in shocked “What?”
“I learned from Clockwork, Master of Time and he has all the knowledge of Equestria. I’ve learned of everything about relics in Equestria. And the ‘Staff of Sameness’ is NOT an Equestrian Relic.”
I fired a ghost ray at the stick, destroying it.
“I’m not stupid, you know. Now, you ARE going to tell me where our friends are at OR I’ll make you tell me.”
Starlight said “You won’t break me.”
“I don’t need to break you. I can overshadow you and see into your mind.”
I grinned and jumped at her. My body began to glow as I turned into clear and I entered her body. She shivered and I looked into her memories and everything. When I came out, I was smiling.
“Thank you for your cooperation. By the way, how about I get rid of that makeup you have coving your cutie mark?” I told her.
Starlight gasped in shock when she heard that and my eyes turned icy blue and I fired an ice beam at her flank and then melt it with some ectoplasm fire that got rid of the fake cutie mark, revealing her TRUE cutie mark. Diamond and Charming gasped and Starlight began to back up.
“If you aren’t an equal, so can your other villagers.”
I looked at the vault and fired an ecto-energy ball at it, destroying the glass. Starlight used her magic to catch Charming and the Mane 6’s Cutie Marks and put them into jars and she began to take off. I noticed and looked at Charming.
“Go to the others. They are in town in a house that are guarded by two stallions and the door locked. Tell the villagers what has transpired here and tell them: Starlight is a traitor.” I said to Charming.
Charming nodded and I took off after Starlight, running and not flying to make it more challenging. Charming began to head into town to tell the villagers.
I was chasing Starlight and we were going over some narrow rock bridge.
“Give it up Starlight! You are beaten, if you surrender now, I promise you that your punishment won’t be severe.” I shouted at her, trying to reason with her.
Starlight shouted back “Never!”
I groan and I continue pursuit. I followed her and we were approaching a cave.
“Ok, playtime is officially over!” I shouted officially.
I fired a ghost ray at Starlight, which hit her square. The containers fell and hit the ground, cracking open and the Cutie Marks flying out to rejoin their original owner. I smiled and looked at Starlight, who was extremely angry. Her horn began to glow with power.
Starlight shouted with anger “You made me lose my prized objects, now you will die here where they will forever remember you as the fallen hero!”
She fired her beam at me. I didn’t have time to create a shield but a purple shield rose from my medallion. I looked at it and the shield disappeared when Starlight’s attack finished. She gasped in shock by the protection.
“You know, ponies like you think they are so high and mighty that you should rule over the weak. But the weak shall always triumphant over the strong. I am someone far from weak! I am Danny Eclipse, Son of Princess Luna and King Sombra, twin brother of Charming, and Champion of Unicron the Destroyer!”
Purple markings began to spread around my skin and my eyes began to glow purple. My medallion began to glow very brightly.
“And I will NOT be overwhelmed by the likes of YOU!!”
A purple cocoon surrounded me and I began to change into a transformer. I was now a cybertronian Soldier, Titan class. I looked like Megatron and but different. My metal was Black as night and I had some streak on my armor that were dark blue and white. My right arm changed into a Cybertronian weapon known as “Riot Cannon” that looked like it was fully upgraded and I grinned at it. Starlight was terrified out of her mind.
“This is new to me…and I like it!”
I looked at the snow on top of the cave entrance and I shot my weapon at it, destroying it. I looked at Starlight and changed back to my normal form.
“Runaway Starlight. Run. Run away and never return.” I told her, savoring every word of it.
Starlight began to run into the cave with fear. When she was inside, I heard hoof steps behind me and I looked. I see the Mane 6 and Charming. Rainbow hugged me and I hugged her back.
Charming said “We saw the transformation. How did you do that?”
“I don’t know…but I have the feeling that it’s important. Come on, let’s go home.”
They nod and we began to walk away. I looked at the cave and smiled as I know where to find Starlight whenever she is needed.
