King Sonic walked up to Little Sonic, who was co-guarding Princess Twilight with Spike. "Hey Lil me, check this out!" Sonic suddenly burst into flames without explanation before the fire was replaced by a chilled air aura. "Anyway, Spike told me that Twi ordered some dumb things to happen so I'm going to fix 'em."
Little Sonic tilted his head in confusion.
"Twilight ordered through Spike to move a sporting event that looked like cricket. Not surprised if it was. Also, some trees were supposed to be trimmed and a water line fixed. Sounds like comedic disaster. I should know, I watch Comedy Chimp twice a day to prove other us that its funny."
Little Sonic shrugged.
Getting the wrong message, King Sonic exclaimed, "I know! How is he even me?!"
Little Sonic rolled his eyes as his bigger self ran off.
A cricket ball knocked over some trees, luckily King Sonic turned them to ash with his new power, but not without missing one. The main water line broke, causing water to arch into Canterlot Castle. With a touch of ice power, Sonic froze the water.
Following the stream of water, Sonic found Spike half frozen with a bowel of gems. "Sup, Princess!"
"What's going on?!" Spike cried out.
"Yeah, what is going on? Ice skating?" Cadence asked, flying into the room.
Sonic frowned, "As King of the Wind, without objections, I was ordered by Twilight to keep the peace and patrol the streets of Canterlot. Spike said one thing, countering Fancy Pants saying another- Basically, Discord would be proud."
"Indeed I am!" Discord said, making a one sentance cameo while using recycled ice skating frames from 'Keep Calm and Flutter On'.
The day ended with Spike learning a lesson and a temporary ice rink being open in Canterlot. There's not much to say.
