The Impact That Changed Equestria

-Twilight's point of view-

It was another wonderful morning in Equestria, the sun beamed its full glory with no clouds in the sky. A small town named Ponyville, slowly wakes up to begin work, some pony's get up extra early to tend their farms and others open their shops after them. With the familiar buildings surrounding the town hall, I admired them from my humble abode. Even though the Castle stands out from everypony's else's, it was the only place that I called home. Since my fight against Tirek, I lost my old home named The Golden Oaks Library, I was now accustomed to live in this cavernous castle with my number one assistant Spike.

Now time has passed, two hundred years to be exact, a few things changed throughout when I was in charge of Ponyville. The buildings didn't changed, only the ponies who lived in them, around three to four generations of families lived there. Though the one thing that has changed is Spike and I. I was now Luna's height, when she returned from Nightmare Moon and my mane grew as long as Cadance's. Spike was no exception, he was now the size as a teenage dragon, but his appetite really didn't change much. Although there have been several occurrences that he can get 'peckish'.

I sighed as I glanced back to my room, it was perfectly decorated to my bidding. The walls had nothing, but books in shelves and my deck sat across the room with my checklist's for tomorrow and the next day. I trot up to the deck to see the last picture of my friends that Spike took when we were gathered up in a group: Applejack, who was showing her grey strands of hair and wrinkles, stood right next to me. Fluttershy was on a wheel chair, on my left, was petting another rabbit with her wing. Pinkie was there smiling with her pink mane turning a very light pink, her age was defiantly showing, but she was still the laughable Pink pony that I'll still remembered. Rarity was analyzing her gems with a microscope and amazingly kept her age hidden through her secrets. Rainbow Dash, happily hovered above us like she always did in our pictures, her age didn't let her down and kept her body in shape.

I blink and everything went blurry as I realized that I was crying. It definitely has been a long time, but now my good friends have passed, the only thing they left behind was their grand kids and great grand kids. I wiped my tears away knowing that they're in a better place. I glance at my deck to see the reports of Ponyville have been collected and stacked on a clipboard.

I shook my head to focus on the reason why I was up so early. It was because I have a special meeting with my step sister, Cadance, Celestia and Luna. This meeting was nothing special, but to just talk about the status in Equestria and the Griffon Empire. We were suppose to have it at my house, but due to restraints, I had to go to Canterlot for this meeting.

I had nothing against the whole idea, in fact Spike would be watching the Castle while I'm away. I had my worries that he might scare off ponies who he tried to talk to, This happened once or twice, because he met new pony's that tried to move into this area. I shook my head, 'This is Ponyville were talking about and I'm sure nothing would happen like that... Right?' I thought.

I get my saddle bag on to where my wings were comfortable to where I can fly to Canterlot instead of taking the train. I filled my bags up with the reports that were significant to the meeting and lead myself out of the room. Now that I thought about it, I woke up really early that what Applejack wakes... I shook my head inwardly as I spent my spare time to gaze upon the castle walls and decorations.

I walk to Spike's door and when I opened it, he was still sleeping. His bed was now larger than to what I remember and his little 'hoard' was stashed under his bed. Given it's still 6:30 in the morning, I already wrote a note for him and set it on his table. I just wanted to make sure that he was still asleep and that the note was still there. I yawned again as I closed his door to then walk towards the front entrance. I opened the door and closed it behind me with my magic. I take a deep breath as I look at the scenery around me. The morning was nice and perfect as the town was waking up from last night. I took a step forward, spread my wings and ascend to Canterlot.

I look behind me and sighed, "Good morning Ponyville." I smiled.

The trip wasn't too long, thanks to Rainbow Dash's training... I mentally brush off the memory to then land where I first departed to Ponyville at the Hot Air Balloon port. The guards nod at me as I headed towards the Canterlot Castle. Nothing has changed around here, but the green leaves are now red and orange. Autumn was finally here, it was my favorite time of year because it was nice and cool whether it's sunny or cloudy. As I went inside, I eventually got to the royal court.

The guards opened the double doors to let me in and I quickly stepped inside so they could close it. Inside was the same except for a table that was placed in the center of the room. Celestia was sitting on a pillow on the right, Luna was right across from me and Cadance was to my left. I sat on my provided pillow as I took off my saddle bag with my levitation and levitated the papers onto the table. The papers were now all straightened up, I pan my head to Cadance and smiled.

"Morning Cadance." I yawned.

She nodded, "Morning Twilight, coffee?" She asked levitating a serving cup of black coffee.

"Yes please. Two sugarcubes and no milk, I didn't get enough sleep last night." I explained as I yawned once again.

"Thinking about the meeting today Twilight?" Celestia smiled.

I shook my head, "N-No! I was busy with my friends great granddaughters and they set me up with a party." I smiled a bit, "Pinkie..." I shook my head and continued, "I mean, Surprise really did 'surprise' me, but I've forgotten that yesterday was my two hundredth anniversary of the day when I visited Ponyville under your orders."

"So it has been that long, hasn't it." Luna sighed.

"Yes sister, yesterday was the day you returned to us two hundred years ago and I'll never forget that day." Celestia stated.

Cadance levitated the cup of coffee and I took a sip. The black coffee made my taste buds jump, it is a rarity for me to have black coffee that was slightly sweetened because I barely have any of it. I slowly felt myself get awake as I cleared my throat.

"Much better." I took another sip, "Now the first thing we need to talk about is how the Crystal Empire is doing after it's 50th Equestria Games. Then we need to discuss what has been happening at the Griffon Empire, and we'll go down the line from there."

"I would like to start." Luna spoke up, "I took nap during the Night court and I need to get my sayings out before my internal clock gets messed up as you say."

I nodded, "Alright Luna, what would you like to-"

POPOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM

All of our ears turn to the direction of the noise that made the hairs on my back to stand up. I look to Celestia who was slightly disturbed by this. I glanced at Luna, her flowing hair stopped and she was slightly shaking a little bit. She was mumbling something repeatedly, but I couldn't make out what she was saying. I turn my attention to Cadance, and she looked at me.

Cadance spoke, "What was-"

CRASH!

The whole castle grounds shook, making the guards to lose their composure and fell to their knees. The crash was loud enough that it was at the front entrance of the Castle. I stood up as I felt the excitement of what had crash into the castle grounds. I smiled internally, it was an asteroid fragment! Of course! It's the only thing that could get me excited. 'Maybe that's the coffee kicking in.' I thought. I look at the three Princesses, Luna finally calmed down when she saw Celestia and Cadance quickly trotted to my side.

"Let's go see what crashed in the front of the castle." I stated.

Celestia looked kind of worried for Luna, but her facial expression turned neutral, "Yes, Luna are you staying or coming?"

"I'll be joining you." Celestia raised an eyebrow, "I'm fine, Tia." She huffed.

We quickly made our way down the stairs to find the front entrance was trashed. Debris, broken pillars, cracked marble floors, and fire that was burning on this strange liquid. Celestia doused the flames, Luna repaired the flooring and Cadance put the pillars back up. They wanted to at least fix what they could to make the room look normal. I headed towards the impact sight and I felt excited because I saw asteroids before in books, but to see a fragment land in Canterlot is an astronomical timing.

When I got to the impact sight, I saw something shinning. Shinning... I mentally slap myself to examine the asteroid. I took a closer look and saw that this asteroid was more tube like than a rock from space. I used a teleportation spell to teleport the object to lie right next to my feet. This tube was huge, it was the size of column from the Gala room and it looks like you could fit ten stallions into it. The tube was burnt from the bottom up, but there was an oval shape window on the top that wasn't scorched. With my fur, I wiped off the window to find... Myself? I looked closer and it was definitely wasn't my reflection. I screamed of what I saw and the Princesses came to my aid.

"Twilight! What's wrong?!" Cadance yelled.

Just then there was a sudden beeping noise. All four of us look at the tube as it hissed out steam. Eight locks unlock from the right, making the side of the tube open to the left of us. When the steam finally cleared, we saw what almost made me fall over to my back. There was a hairless ape like creature sleeping, it was fully clothed. There was no hair at the top of his head, neither does his body. For some reason it was getting colder when we're standing here. That's not what scared me though, what scared me was beside him were four stuffed pony's of ourselves. A plush Celestia was on it left, Luna to its right, Cadance on its chest and myself on top of its head.

"What is it?" Cadance asked.

I glance at Celestia, she was thinking about something and sighed, "I don't know, but what ever this creature is, it's some kind of sleep status."

This creature is in a sleep status?! That's not possible! There is no pony out there who can freeze themselves and go into some kind of sleep. Just when I was about to speak, there was a mechanical noise.

"SLEEP STATUS DEACTIVATED: WAKING UP SUBJECT" The voice said from the tube.

The tube suddenly radiated a huge amount of heat that was compared to a raging fire in a hot desert. I cast a thermal reading spell over my eyes to see that his body was heating up to a sustainable high temperature of 100 degrees. I saw his chest suddenly starts to rise and fall; my ear twitched when I heard it breathing slowly. Then the heat suddenly stops and the creature slowly stirs in it sleep.

The voice spoke again, "SUBJECT IN A CONSCIOUS STATUS, 12 HOURS REMAIN UNTIL AWAKENING"

"Let's take it to the hospital here in the Castle." Cadance said.

Celestia nods, "Like the tube says, which is weird for me to say, lets take care of this creature that has appeared..." She turns to Luna, "From space you said?"

Luna nods, "It was frightening that this tube was able to get through our atmosphere. I didn't detect it until it broke the sound barrier."

"Wait!" I shouted, "This tube broke the sound barrier?"

"How else are we going to explain that 'pop' sound?" Cadance asked letting her horn glow.

I sighed, "I'm just surprised is all."

I cast my levitation spell over the creature, Cadence did the same, but when we tried to lift it up. The creature was too heavy. We increased our magic to lift it up, but we couldn't budge it to go up.

"A little help, Auntie." Cadance grunted.

Celestia raised an eyebrow, "Is this creature that heavy?" I didn't have time to reply, but her horn glowed and tried to levitate the creature. Though I could see that she was struggling.

"Lulu, can you assist us?" Celestia asked.

"Certainly three Alicorns can't possibly lift a mortal." She said, but got a look from Celestia and Cadance. She sighed, "Very well then."

Her horn glowed and now the creature was surrounded by four colors of magic by four Alicorns. We increased our magic and he was moving up micro-inches a second. I could feel sweat coming down my for head, I slightly glance at the other three and they were struggling as well.

One of the Unicorn guards came up to the tube and wondered what was going on, but Celestia spoke, "Get your best Unicorn's in the Castle to help us." He was unsure of what was going on, but he sprinted off to get what Celestia ordered.

Four Alicorns, and twenty Unicorns helped to move this creature out of the tube and slowly into a hospital bed. While we were moving this thing into the hospital, I cast a spell, while I was levitating it, to see how much it did weigh. I found out that this creature was 1 kiloton, which is over 2 million pounds. 'That's impossible! If he weighed that much then he would of cracked the floor.' I thought.

When we set this creature on a hospital bed, I was now getting confused. The bed didn't collapse, it just creaked as it was placed on the mattress. Celestia, Luna, Cadance and I look at the tired Unicorns, they were panting like they ran through the Running of the leaves ten times. I was wondering what Celestia had planned, but when she spoke, I smiled.

"Gentlecolts you have helped your princesses in need and now you may have the rest of the day off." She bows as everypony got a smile from getting relieved of duty for the day.

When the Unicorns left, all four of us turn our attention to the creature in question. I walked up to it to see the facial features on the creatures face. I had studied Monkey's and Apes before that I could find out whether the creature was male or female. I could immediately tell that the creature is a Male because his nose is larger than a Female. Though, his face and neck were slightly deformed due to some ice burns. I looked down his body and there was a lump at the private area. I slightly blushed, but shook me head internally, 'He's definitely a male.' I thought.

"This creature is a him and I don't even know what he is, but he is similar to an Ape." I explained.

Celestia sighed as another Unicorn guard came in the the tube device, "Here is the tube, your highness and your... look alike stuff toys."

Luna and Cadance slightly giggled at what the guard said about the toys being look alike's. Though Celestia smiled nevertheless, "Thank you, you may now go take a day off for today." He bows, gives his thanks and happily trots out of the hospital room.

I looked at the creature, he was still asleep, breathing steadily as the minutes passed by. The Princesses and I are confused of what he will do when he'll wake up in 12 hours or so.

"I suppose we'll have to continue our meeting until he wakes up?" I asked Celestia.

She nodded, "It's probably for the best. While the Unicorns are fixing the entrance, we must have our meeting and once were finished, I need to prepare a speech to talk about this incident."

Luna waked up and her horn glowed as she touched his forehead, "It seems he is lightly dreaming, but not in a lucid one. Very strange indeed." She sighed, "Let's get a move on."

I watch Luna, Cadance and Celestia walk out of the room, I slowly followed as I looked back to him. So many questions I wanted to ask about what he is, or if he is either intelligent at all. I shook my head and quickly trotted towards back to the meeting room where the Princesses are waiting for my arrival.

-Jacobs point of view-

The excitement in my body was an understatement, I was in the nicest suit that I could afford and I was in a dressing room, getting prepped by other people putting make up on my face. It didn't help though because my nervousness made me sweat. I mean I wanted enter this contest because I thought it was a joke, but karma really does have it for me when I suddenly won it.

The contest is an event that was making it's way to history books. Scientists have found a way to put a human in a cryo-tube, freeze them in a state of sleep and were able to wake them up, but also they weren't affected by age. This caused a daisy chain of events, after the cryo-tube had been made, scientist made a rocket that can convert dark matter into fuel, which was an amazing feat. Then there was a planet that was earth like to be found by another astronomer, who happens to be a billionaire and funded a raffle contest. This contest was bizarre, if the he or she won the contest they'll be in this cryo-tube, be launched into space to be sent to the new earth like planet. Why did he do this? Why because AMERICA! That's why...

'God I hate my life.' I thought.

With no friends, barely any family due to an accident I don't want to mention, nothing was really holding me back to go on this one way trip. I really had no choice, but to go to this new planet that was in a different solar system and is several light years away. I was really doubtful, but when I heard one of the scientist, that was behind the project, told me that they would provide food in capsules. It was surreal that they would have Dragon Ball like tech right now to give me and that it was going to be equipped to the cryo-tube.

I sighed as I looked at a pendant that had the four Alicorn Princesses on it and smiled. It has been a year after I've became a Brony to the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. When my 'friends' left me, I didn't know what to do at the time to make my world worth living. Then this show came along and my brain exploded with creation. I had created stuffed toys of the main six, the three Princesses and many other Nic Nac's.

"Jacob?" A women asked for my attention.

I turned to face her, it was Mary Hanson, she was one of the women that worked for the billionaire, Mr. Drill. She wore a suit, but the skirt was halfway above her thighs. I was going to say something, but she continued, "Everyone is ready for your speech."

I nod, "Alright, I'll be on my way."

She leaves without a word and I grab the pendant and wear it around my neck. I grab my one speech card and made my way to the stage, I can hear all the talking in the audience. Then a microphone was turned on and the light shines above the women behind the podium. Everyone went silent while she tapped the microphone with her finger.

"Good afternoon ladies and gentleman, my name is Mrs. Hanson. I am here to announce our raffle ticket winner to his one way trip to the newly discovered earth-like planet named Lepus. Give a warm welcome to Jacob Winders." Hanson finished as she motioned her hand towards my direction.

'Well here goes nothing.' I thought walking into the stage, but when I was expecting around of applause, I only got silence instead. I took a deep breath, tried to ignore their silence and stood behind the podium.

"I don't have much for a speech, but I would like to say a few words then I can do a Q & A for the audience." Silence still was in the audience, but I continued, "You know, when I was born into this planet of ours, I had high expectations of a great life, but that all had to change when my parents and siblings died in an incident. All I have to say is I have no regrets on going to this trip, sure it would break some of my other family members hearts, but I really have nothing here for me that Earth can offer." I said, "Any questions?"

Only one person raised their hand and I pointed at him, "You know this is your potential death bed right?" He asked in a gruff tone.

I nod, "We will never know until we try."

After the meeting with the Americans, I was flown to Russia where they were holding the space program. I was put into one of their facilities to get through the jet lag. The place was mostly a white room and with me inside it was the only color that made it different. Though for some reason, I felt like I was being watched, but ignored it and went to sleep. I slept when the time was right, around eight at night, even though my body denied it.

The next day, I felt very different, but shrugged it off to get my last day on Earth going. The scientist team got me fed with some sort of goop that was suppose to fill me up. That stuff looked like slime from a toy store, but it tasted like mint. When I finished, I was somehow full, it turns out the goop absorbs the acids in my stomach and stays there. I needed a full stomach to be asleep for two hundred years and this goop is doing it's job. After that, they shaved my head, waxed my back, chest, legs, and other miscellaneous places. Being completely hairless was painful at first and I felt very 'airy' on my pores, I didn't know what else to describe it. Next they went over what supplies their going to put on the cryo-tube: A tent, water purifying pellets, several dozen food that is vital to a human's protein diet, and other items that made me nod myself to sleep.

Then the door opened to Mr. Drill and I snapped myself awake to pay more attention to what he had to say. He was wearing a nice tailored suit, his prosthetic right leg and left arm glowed as he moved towards my general direction. One of the scientist was trying to talk to him, but he raise his left robotic arm and everyone went silence.

"Before you actually go on your trip beyond the stars," He said lightly, "You can take seven items to take with you while you sleep, what shall it be?"

I tapped my finger and smiled because I knew what I wanted to say, "My hand made Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, Princess Twilight plush toys, my tablet, included with all knowledge of earth and beyond, a solar charger for it, and a picture of my family."

He raised an eyebrow, "That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." He claimed, but grabbed my shoulder and laughed, "You are an interesting kid, you just seem to amaze me. Not only did you pass of being an astronaut, because of training, if you didn't qualify to be a winner of the raffle, but you have already have a memorial up for you at Washington D.C. as 'the first human to explore the unknown.' I know it's going to be hard for you to let go the place that you were born in, but I believe you don't have a single care do you?"

I smirked, "Well, if you put it that way, yes, I don't have a single care in the world."

His chuckles turns to laughter and I laugh right next to him. The scientists were ignoring us as they were trying to get everything perfected for this one way trip. After having our talk with Mr. Drill, I was lead to the changing rooms where they suited me up in a white scuba suit. They also checked if I was sick or had any diseases, the test was all negative and I was all cleared to go.

The next few stages were a blur to me and next thing I knew, I was already in an outside elevator that was connected to the rocket. Mr. Drill, Mary and another scientist were with me. When the elevator stopped, multiple doors opened to a long hallway that was suspended by scaffolding. I walked forward, while everyone else followed. I look down to see that the rocket was not that huge, but was the rocket that sent multiple satellites into Earth's orbit. I look to see that the door was closed, but the scientist opened the first one, second, third door leading to the cryo-tube itself.

The tube opened the metal door and I stepped inside of it. I crossed my legs and arms as if I was in a banzai slide where they unexpectedly drop you into the swilling tube into the pool. I look to my left to see that Mary was stepping into the rocket, I was confused of why she was coming in. When I was about to say something, her lips land on mine. She stole my first kiss, but I wasn't complaining, if it would mean that I would at least get a kiss from a girl that was attractive in a suit with a short skirt, then so be it.

"Your parting gift from me." Mary giggled as I blushed.

Mr. Drill handed me a bag, "Here is your seven items and I'm not much for words when you're departing to another world."

I smirked, "Neither do I." I replied grabbing the bag from him.

"This scientist, Mr. Magnet, will give you the sedative so that you'll be asleep while this cryo-tube will freeze you in a state of sleep until you land on the planet." He said as Magnet pulls out the syringe and applied alcohol onto my forearm.

"All I have to say is good-bye, I might not know how Earth will do in two hundred years." Magnet injects the sedative in my arm, but I continue, "Though I believe on thing, if Earth continues like it is, it will die out."

I fell straight to sleep hearing Magnet saying, "You don't know half of it."

-Two Hundred Years Later-

White. That is what I saw when I awakened from my slumber. 'Has it been two hundred years?' I thought. I tried to look around, but it was blurred, however, I managed to rub my eyes with my sore hands. I felt very groggy when I tried to move my body. First side effect when you're awake from the cryo-chamber is your body will be in a mode of recovery, like you're just recovering from the flu. I blinked again to see that I was in a hospital and I was somewhat confused. 'Was the launch a failure?' I thought. I shook my head inwardly, I would of died by being burned to a crisp if that sort of thing happened.

I twitched a little bit, getting to feel my hands and feet again with ice burns is not the most amazing feeling. Luckily though, the scuba suit prevented any burning on the majority on my body. The only parts I have ice burns are my hands, a little on my face and feet. The thought of having ice burns on my private area gave me chills on my back.

The next thing I heard was ringing in my ears that was getting on my nerves. Second side effect, when you awaken from your first cryo-sleep, your hearing will be slightly deaf, but it will recover in a couple of minutes or so. I closed my eyes as my hearing got used to the ringing. Eventually, my ears were back to normal and they popped when I blinked. I look to my left to see a glass of water and slowly reach up for it. When my hand touched the glass, I couldn't feel the texture at all. Third side effect, your nerves will be recovering when you first awaken, so feeling items with textures will be completely different. I lifted up the glass and took a drink, but my throat felt like it was on fire. Last side effect, take small amounts of water and food, awakening from a two hundred year sleep is equivalent to be brought back from being stranded on a desert island or winter mountain. Also, the goop would have disappeared when you've awakened, so your stomach will be empty. If you take in too much water and food, your body will react and eject it out of your stomach.

When I put the glass down, I glanced down to see that the cryo-tube was still intact, but it was burnt. Inside was my stuff toys, my bag with the tablet and solar charger. Slowly, I grabbed them out to set them on my lap. I closed my eyes to stretch my arms and legs, if I was in a hospital that was similar to human structure, then these 'aliens' must be intelligent of some sorts. Which is nice, I didn't want to be here all alone on this foreign planet.

"He's awake." Said a familiar feminine voice.

"Looks like he's stretching." Said another women.

I opened my eyes to have my jaw drop. In front of me was Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, and Princess Twilight, but they were different somehow. Closing my jaw with my right hand, I analyse them closely. Celestia was still the same height, but Luna was as tall as her. Cadance was the same height as Celestia and her mane flowed like Sun Goddess and Moon Goddess. Twilight was now under the height of Cadance and she let her hair grow, but didn't flow like the other three.

"You've all have grown..." I said before fainting onto the bed.
