Spider Stories

Applejack

Applejack kicked a tree, and every single apple tumbled into the three baskets around it. She smiled satisfyingly, and moved onto the next. This is how it had gone for the past hour, and how it continued for a while after that.
A scream echoed through the orchard. Alarmed, Applejack ran towards it to find Apple Bloom cowering a few feet away from the tree she was staring at.
"What's the matter, Apple Bloom?" the filly's older sister asked, confused and quite annoyed.
Apple Bloom pointed shakily to one of the baskets underneath the tree. All three of them were filled with apples. "It's i-in there." Applejack squinted into the basket, spotting a small black dot.
Looking closer, she concluded it as being a spider. Scary-looking, but harmless. Or so she thought. "Are ya'll serious? It's just a spider."
"But what if it's poisonous?" Apple Bloom scooted back into another tree as her sister picked up the apple that the creature was on.
"Trust me, it's not." She blew at it and it fell to the ground. "Shoo, git outta here. I don't want you botherin' my sister, ya hear?"
There was a small hint of a scowl on the spider's face that you had to pay close attention to see. As he scurried off, Applejack turned her back to him to face Apple Bloom.
"See, there's nothin' to worry about." But the filly wasn't paying attention to her. Her eyes focused on something behind Applejack. "What is it now?"
"Charge!" A tiny voice behind her squeaked, and she turned around too late. All one thousand of them (Well, Applejack guessed there were one thousand) ran at her, then jumped onto her.
Apple Bloom watched in shock as they began to swarm the trees and soon came after her. "Somepony, HELP!!!" She ran away, headed to the Cutie Mark Crusaders clubhouse, leaving her sister to handle her problem. The spiders didn't bother to chase her. She hadn't done anything wrong.
