Crossover 002: Bushi Sentai Hunterranger





Six months ago the Rainboom’s defeated the Dazzling’s in the battle of the bands at CHS, but that battle set in motion a chain of events that would put the world in danger.

The magic that was unleashed seeped its way into the world, and awakened creatures not seen by the human eye for millennium. Great monsters of such power and strength soon began to ravage the world.

In an attempt to stop the spread of the monsters to other worlds the portal to Equestria was sealed on both ends to never be opened again until the appointed time where it would on its own.

Yet in these great times of danger the world itself calls upon its greatest means of defense. A group of rag tag warriors who together would become “Bushi Sentai! Hunterranger!”

In a far off town of Dodge Junction people screamed and shout as a beast had appeared out of the sky. It was a black dragon with four legs and seemingly retractable clawed wings with purple highlights on its underwing. It was covered in spines and had a long pointy tail. Every move it made left behind some sort of black mist in its tracks. Yet it’s most defining and terrifying feature was its lack of eyes.

The dragon let out a roar as many people went running off scattering.

Up upon a building a group of 10 figures stood clouded by shadows, but small bits of colors could be seen on each.

“Alright. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is we are dealing with here?” Figure #1 spoke in a distinct male voice looking at the other figures.

Figure #2 shook its head “No clue boss man. First time dealing with a beast like this.” Figure #2 speaks in a male voice.

“No matter. That thing is causing a problem and we were hired to handle it.” Figure #3 adds

“Have to agree. Sooner we get this done the sooner we get paid.” Figure #4 agrees in a huff.

“Is getting paid all you care about?” Figure #5 asks Figure #4 who shrugs.

“Well it is what we do buddy.” Figure #6 adds as a smirk could almost be seen.

“Besides we can’t get paid if the town is destroyed.” Figure #7 says as the one next to this figure smacks there head.

“Instead of talking about it maybe we should just get to it?” Figure #8 suggested frustrated.

“Yeah. Besides I’ve been itching for a good hunt.” Figure #9 says as it punches the air.

“You and me both buddy.” Figure #10 says popping their neck.

“Go ahead and lead off boss.” Figure #2 says to Figure #1 who nods. Each figure holds up there left wrist revealing a gold wrist with slightly oversized oval watch like device that was distinguished with orange buttons.

“Bushi Henshin!” Figure #1 exclaimed pushing the large orange button and each of the others doing the same.

A black spandex suit materialized around there body as the clothes they had been wearing vanished. Over there front a vest like jacket appeared and seemed to fuse into the spandex. Lightly armored gloves appeared each figures arms as reinforced armored boots that went either below the knee caps and some above materialized. Finally a full helmet appeared on each figures head and a half crown like piece attached to the helmet and a visor closed over each figure’s eyes who took that moment to step out of the shadows.

Figure #1 was shown to be clad in red “Greatest Warrior. Hunter Red.” He says as a large red hilted silver greatsword appeared in his hands.

Figure #3 was revealed to be clad in blue “Spirit Warrior. Hunter Blue.” Blue says as a longsword appears in Blue’s hand.

Figure #5 was unveiled in green “Versatile Warrior. Hunter Green.” Green says as a medium sized circular shield appears attached to the left wrist and a sword in his other.

Figure #7 was appeared to be clad in yellow “Duality Warrior. Hunter Yellow.” Yellow said as a curved blade appeared in each hand.

Figure #9 was in black “Impact Warrior. Hunter Black.” Black said as a large hammer appeared and Black grasps it with both hands.

Figure #2 was seen clad in silver “Counter Warrior. Hunter Silver.” Silver says as an oversized oval shield appeared on the left wrist and a large lance appears in the other hand.

Figure #4 was appeared in a flash of gold “Sharp Warrior. Hunter Gold.” Gold says as a gleaming sharp lance materialized into one hand.

Figure #6 is clad in bronze “Double Warrior. Hunter Bronze.” Bronze says as a two handed axe appeared and Bronze held it with both hands. Bronze gave it a swing and it appeared to become a long sword before changing back to an axe.

Figure #8 was shown to be wearing cyan “Summoning Warrior. Hunter Cyan.” Cyan says as a double bladed rod appeared in the open hand and a robotic insect flew around Cyan as if waiting for a command.

Figure #10 was revealed last and was clad in white “Siege Warrior. Hunter White.” White finishes as a large gun like object appears and takes both hands to hold.

“Bushi Sentai! Hunterranger!” All 10 yelled out together as smoke of each of their color plumes up behind them before exploding.

[End Music]

“Let’s go crazy!” Red exclaims as the 10 charge at the monstrous dragon.

Blue and Gold ran straight at it as quick as they can. Gold jumped aiming for the head and tried to hit it, but was utterly surprised when the creature roars releasing a numerous amount of scales that hit gold who was seconds later wacked by the blunt side of the dragon’s tail.

Blue slashed at its wings proving to be mildly effective until the moment Blue stepped on some scales on the ground and had to roll back to avoid being stomped on by one of the dragons back legs.

“Wow. We sure are going to get a pretty penny if we bag this thing boss.” Blue says to Red who backflips to avoid a blast of scales.

“Focus!” Red shouts to Blue who rubs his neck in response.

“Sorry boss.” He says.

As Red and Blue are having this exchange Green and Bronze were working together attacking the wyvern like black dragon while taking the blasts that hit them.

Bronze flicked his Axe and it changed into a Longsword as both swung hitting the back legs and the dragon let out a roar of pain and anger and sent out a blast of scales that hit the ground scattering all about.

Yellow and Cyan ran at the creature “Kinsect. Distract.” Cyan ordered the robotic bug who obeyed and flew up to the creature landing on its body and skittered about causing small electric shocks to the dragon who was now roaring in intense pain.

“So this thing doesn’t like lighting huh?” Yellow said as sparks of lighting formed on the twin blades and Cyan ran with ready to strike.

“Then how do you like this?!” Yellow exclaimed delivering a devastating double lighting blow to the dragons head and Cyan following up recalling the Kinsect in the process.

Black had been lagging back, but now burst forward in a surge of speed holding the hammer and delivered a golf swing like blow to the dragons head as White followed it up blasting it with the gunbow.

The dragon was in intense pain, but was unwilling to give up. With all the scales it had scattered it now knew the layout of everything and the locations of the heat signatures it was fighting.

Horns began to poke out of the side of the dragons head and the sky above darkened. Silver looked visibly frightened and flinches back realizing what is happening.

“No. Oh please no.” He says under his breath as just then the sky went black and horns burst out of the dragons sides as it let out a deafening roar and was now down on its clawed wings.

“Damn it. This thing has a Frenzy Mode.” Red says as he takes up his weapon along with Silver and they both charge at the dragon.

Silver made the first move attempting to stab it from the side, but was swiped by a claw throwing it back. Red leaped forward swing the sword, but was greeted with a point blank range blast throwing Red back.

The other 9 rushed over to regroup and was huffing in pain and exhaustion.

“Ugh. What’s it going to take to handle this thing?” Yellow says in irritation.

“Calm down. It’s not like this is the first monster to give us trouble.” Bronze says as Green nods.

“Yeah. There was that one…What was it called again? Brac…Brachio…Oh it was something like that.” Green says as the dragon advances on them.

“Brachydios you baka.” Cyan says face palming.

“Still. This thing is making me want to find another one of that instead.” Green says frightened.

Silver hums in thought thinking of some kind of weakness to it as it approached them slowly. It was almost like it was savoring there eventual death at its claws.

“I think I got something.” Silver says getting their attention as each turn to Silver ready to listen.

“Black I need you to give that thing the strongest golf swing you can. Afterwards move out of the way and I want White to unload on that thing. Force it back so hard that it’s on it’s back claws.” Silver says determined.

“What about me? My lance is loaded with plenty of shells and could help.” Gold asks.

“I actually forgot about that. Okay after Black gives the swing you attack and unload all your shells at once. Then move and let White take over. Once that is done and it’s on it’s back two claws the rest of us will finish it.” Silver instructs.

“Sounds like a usual crazy Silver plan. Been nice knowing you all.” Red says sarcastically and they all let out a laugh before turning to the dragon who had increased its pace.

“NOW!” Red shouted as Black and Gold rushed forward. Black gave the strongest swing that they could forcing the dragon up a bit as Gold stabbed with the lance and it opened up as several small grenade like shells came out of it and exploded at point blank range.

White then unloaded shot after shot with the Heavy Bowgun as the dragon screams and was forced up high and on it’s back claws.

All 10 gathered together as an aura the same color as their respective colors flared up around them.

“HUNTING FINALE!” All 10 yell at once as the aura went into their weapons and the thrust, slash, fire them forward at the beast. The dragon was hit by multiple waves of energy and was caught in an explosion.

“Hunt Complete.” Red said simply as each of the others sighed exhausted and looked over at the body of the dragon.

[End Music]

“You know…I didn’t think we would take that thing down that easily.” Cyan says exhaling a held in breath and went up and kicked the dragon.

“Uhh…I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Silver advises as Cyan huffs.

“Oh please. It’s dead.” Cyan said before turning back to the dragon like creature.

“Not so tough now are you?!” Cyan says going back to kicking it.

Suddenly the dragon moved and stood up straight spooking Cyan who yelped running back to the others.

The dragon like creature looked at the 10 like it was acknowledging their strength at this time. It then let out a roar before taking off to the sky that lightened up and it soon vanished.

“…I don’t think we done with that thing. Not by a longshot.” Red says as the others nod.

“And I think I got a name for that thing…” Blue says as Red glances over.

“Gore Magala.” Blue says simply as the others nod in agreement. It was a fitting name for the jet black wyvern dragon.

News of the event reached all around the world and even to Canterlot City were everything had started, and where monster attacks seemed to frequent. The city had changed a bit and several places been reinforced or completely changed to suit what was happening to the world. A prime example of that  was CHS which was changed to the point that it was no longer recognized as just a high school, but a guild as well for hunters.

Inside this place a particular set of girls were watching the live report of the situation in Dodge Junction, and while they were surprised at these strange people's presence's they also couldn't help but wonder about them.

“I wonder who they are.” Pinkie says as Dash shrugs.

“Who knows.” She says as a bell rings indicating that there was a monster attack in the area and they all ran off.

Whenever a monster rears its ugly head, we will be there. You might not know who we are. We could be everyday people like you, but we face terror everyday when we face the world’s most dangerous monsters.

We are now and will forever be…Bushi Sentai! Hunterranger!
