"Sonic! Thank goodness you're back!" Sally said as Sonic, Tails, and the rest of the heroes all came through the portal.
"Sally! It's great to see you again!" Sonic said as he and Sally were about to walk up to one another, when a pink blur entered the room and tackled Sonic. It was none other, than Amy Rose.
"SONIC!" Amy cried as she smothered the blue hedgehog with affection.
"Amy!" Sonic gasped, while struggling to get the pink hedgehog off. "Get off! I can't breathe!"
"Oh, sorry," Amy released the hedgehog as he got up and brushed himself.
Then, Sonic turned to Sally and asked, "So, how have things been while we're away?"
"Not so good Sonic," Sally explained. "While you and Tails were away, Dr. Eggman had sent his robot armies to attack Mobotropolis. And to make matters worst, he was able to get his hands on all of the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald from Knuckles and the Chaotics."
"WHAT?!" Sonic gasped. "And here I thought Knucklehead says I always do a bad job keeping the emeralds safe."
"Nevermind about that!" Amy began. "You and Tails need to stop him!"
"Hello a-Sally!" Mario greeted. "Hello Amy!"
"Yoshi!" Yoshi chirped.
"Ruff!" Polterpup barked.
"Oh!" Sally gasped, seeing the plumbers, Yoshi, and Polterpup. "Hi Mario! I didn't know you and Luigi are back in Mobius."
"We haven't got time for this!" Tails began, "We need to find Dr. Eggman before he starts his Doomsday Machine."
Then, Nicole the holo-lynx materializes on the computer screen.
"A message from Dr. Eggman," Nicole announced.
"Put it on the screen, Nikki," Sonic replied.
"As you wish," Nicole replied.
The computer screen then displays a transmission from Dr. Eggman. It shows none other than Dr. Eggman himself, laughing before he says, "You're too late Sonic! All of your heroics have been for nothing! And now, the final stroke of my master plan. All the worlds in the universe will bow down to the Syndicate's power or be destroyed. Now that the Doomsday Machine is ready, your worlds have no choice but to accept our demands. You can't stop us."
And with that, the transmission was turned off.
"This is a-bad!" Luigi began. "Really, really a-bad! We're gonna die!"
"Not a-yet, we're a-not!" Mario said.
"Yoshi!" Yoshi chirped.
"Mario's right!" Tails began. "We can stop them if we disabled their Doomsday Machine. We've got to find Dr. Eggman's lab."
Twilight meanwhile looked at T-Pup.
"Um, Tails," Twilight began, "I think T-Pup needs a bath. He looks like he's got fleas."
"Ew fleas," Amy shrieked. "Get him away from me!"
"T-Pup doesn't get fleas," Tails said before it hits him. "Wait a minute. That's it! That must be how Dr. Eggman copied Rotor's plans for the Universe Portal Machine. He's spying on us through some kind of flea-bot! T-Pup! Run a self-diagnostic search within your systems! The flea-bot is likely to be a Parasitic Nanobot!"
"What are you doing, Tails?" Amy asked. "There is a madman about to destroy the world and you are worried about a little flea inside your dog?"
Tails looked up at Amy as he begins to explain, "We need to find Dr. Eggman's secret lab. If he has been watching us through a device inside T-Pup, then it must be transmitting a signal to his base. If we can reach the device, we can track the signal back to Eggman."
"Sounds like a good plan to me," Twilight responded, "But how are we going to get the flea-bot?"
"I'm with Twi on this one," Rainbow added. "If this thing is about the size of a flea, then how are we going to get it out of T-Pup and find Dr. Egghead? Disassemble T-Pup and interrogate the flea-bot?"
Hearing that, T-Pup whimpered as he hid under a table. Tails defended the robot dog as he continued to explain, "I don't think it will come to that. We can transport ourselves into T-Pup by using the P.L.O.T.(Particle-to-Light Organizer & Transporter) Device. Once we capture the Fleabot, we can trace its signal back to Dr. Eggman lair."
"Wow Tails," Twilight began. "I'm amazed. With all this talk about science and technology, I might have to retire from magic and start devoting my life in your field. We-"
"Hey egghead!" Rainbow Dash interrupted. "Save the world first! Geek out later! Plus, I already liked you a lot better when you're just an egghead on magic and other hocus pocus!"
"Anyway," Mario began. "Let's a-go!"
And with that, the heroes all begin their plan by first getting themselves transported into T-Pup by using the P.L.O.T. Device with Sally and Amy operating it.
Once inside, the heroes begin their mission as Tails explained, "According to the reading I took, the parasitic drains were strongest in the Audio/Visual Center of the CPU. We'll need to make our way through T-Pup's systems to get there, but there were minor drains everywhere so they could be anywhere in his systems."
Then, as if on cue, a flea-bot suddenly appeared in a flash of green light.
"I take it, that's one of those minor drains you mentioned earlier?" Twilight asked.
"What gave it away?" Rainbow asked.
"Well guys," Sonic said as he cracked his knuckles. "Y'know the drill. Let's smash'em."
With that the heroes all charged into battle as they fought the flea-bot.
The flea-bot quickly dodged all of their attacks by making a big jump, landing on a nearby beam before it shot out an explosive fireball at the heroes.
Spyro retaliated by firing more explosive fireballs of his own at the robot, while Sonic ran at top speed on some of the wires before he curled himself up into a ball and spin dashed through the robot, blowing it up.
The heroes all turned around to see more flea-bots advancing towards them.
