//------------------------------// // The Beginning // Story: A Land That Wrath Never Knew // by jblan1016 //------------------------------// "How can he be... so powerful...?" Chakravartin said, surprised at the strength of Asura. "I.. am the only God..." somehow pulling himself up, Chakravartin charged at Asura and swung his fist directly into Asura's face. Unlike his previous attempt it pushed back Asura but his small victory was short lived. Quickly recovering, Asura reached up and grabbed Chakravartins fist. He slowly pried it of his face and crushed it in his hand, damaging the already cracked arm more. "That's why..."Asura began."I pray to no one!" he yelled, swinging his gold-clad fist into Chakravartin's stomach."Nor will I be prayed to!" Asura screamed, launching a fist straight into the"True Gods" jaw knocking him into the air."But... above all else..."Asura said, stomping his foot into the ground. "I will never"Asura continued, becoming more enraged than he already was. "Forgive you" he said preparing for another punch."FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTER CRY!"Asura ran and flung a full forced punch into Chakravartins face. The impact was enough to release the orb that contained Mithra. As Chakravartin landed, the orb rolled to the sidelines and expanded, freeing her from her prison. Asura was so focused on killing the creator he didn't seem to notice Mithra being free. As Chakravartin pulled himself up from another devastating strike, the only thing he said was "This is not my destiny...". Asura, fueled by his rage yelled out "This is your end!" and charged forward for the killing blow. "Wait!" Mithra cried running in between The Creator and Asura. Asura was able to stop just before hitting Mithra. "If you kill him all the mantra will be lost" said Mithra, trying to convince her father to stop."Without mantra you cannot survive-" she pleaded. Asura didn't listen, he charged past her saying one last thing "But, you will still live". However the time that Mithra had stopped Asura gave Chakravartin enough time to play one last trick. "Now die!" Asura yelled as he launched his fist, prepared to end this once and for all. "Not happening." came his response as Chakravartin rolled to the side. Asura struck the pure whiteness of the pocket dimension. It cracked, quickly spreading hairline black cracks in a wide area. He tried to recover but his fist was glued to where it struck. Suddenly the white wall gave way, collapsing inward and pulling Asura with it. He spun around and saw Chakravartin looking through the hole. He raised a hand and waved, saying the last thing Asura heard from him,"Bye-bye!". But while he was still in earshot he heard him muttering about a "Not enough stalling" and "random dimension". Soon after the open space where Asura fell through closed and Asura drifted off. After awhile in the pitch black nothingness Asura fell into a comatose state. He had no idea that his greatest foe had set him off onto another journey. Asura awoke and quickly pulled himself to his feet ready to strike that God with all his power. But what he saw was a clear blue sky, lush green grass, and trees surrounding him. "What is this place?" he wondered to himself. After a little moment of thought he decided that it must be another one of Chakravartins illusions. He walked over to a tree and planted a firm punch. The tree let out a creak at the force, but unlike The Creators massive golden idol, it didn't shatter like glass. Asura realized that before when he fell through that hole in the pocket dimension, he heard Chakravartin saying something about "random dimension". That bastard sent him to another dimension. "It's not possible" Asura muttered. "He was on the verge of death, he couldn't have done this!" Asura said louder, with more of his wrathful energy flowing from his body. Then he remembered when he was stopped by his daughter. Could that little bit of time have been enough to do this? Asura couldn't hold back his rage, his entire form was engulfed in orange mantra, his hands turned more into claws than hands. He could just see the massive hand of pure mantra that formed from the right side of his back as it hung over him. Soon after another one appeared under his right arm. "No" he thought, "I will not lose myself to this again.". Channeling all his energy into his three right fists, he thrust them skyward. An massive blast of mantra that could be seen for miles launched into the sky. Asura felt his wrathful mantra start to calm and saw the two massive arms slowly shrink away. After he recovered from nearly giving in to the power he looked out from his little clearing. He saw that he was on a trail that lead to a small village, and farther off he could see a much larger castle built into the side of a mountain. He looked back down to the village and saw that there were people going up the trail, they almost looked like... horses? There appeared to be six of them with purple in the front, blue flying above her, and followed by pink who was bouncing along, orange, white, then yellow who was trailing behind. Now that they were closer they were definitely horses, but they seemed a lot smaller than the ones from Gaea. Despite the odd coloring and the flying blue one they seemed like pretty normal horse- wait... are they talking? "Come on, for all we know that orange light we saw could be something completely harmless" said the blue one. "And how likely is that, considering almost anything out of the ordinary is usually something trying to destroy Ponyville" the purple horse responded. "Whatever, just get it over quick, I have some flying to do." she retorted. "You have to keep an open mind Twilight, for all we know it's another super smarty magical unicorn like you were. They could be looking for friends!" said the bouncy pink one. "Ah think Twilight is right, seein' that it worried the princesses it can be anythin' but good" said the orange one. Finally they walked up and spotted Asura. The purple one who seemed to be Twilight walked up to him. "Who are you and why are you here?" she said, getting straight to the point. "I am Asura" came her reply,"And I would not be here if I was not forced here by him". "What are you? I have never seen anything like that except in... the human world." she said growing quieter as she made that revelation. "How is that possible I thought the portal was only for Equestrians, but that magic just now." her mental gears started turning as she thought how this was possible. Before she could ask anything more, the pink one jumped up to Asura. "Hi! I'm Pinkie Pie! Is it true what Twilight says, that you're here to destroy Ponyville? Cause if not I'll have to get a welcome party together andtelleveryonethatwearehavingapartyandbakethefoodandgetthedecorationsand-" before she could go on longer a much larger dark blue pony appeared in a flash of blue light.
