In the Ninja World -
Orochimaru watch as a group of the most skilled and powerful seal masters once again try to reopen the gateway to another world. The jutsu Butcher used is very complex in both using it and maintaining it. He had wanted to go over Butcher's body hoping that there be something, but even in death Butcher still had a card to play. As soon as Naruto was gone Butcher's body burst into flames reducing it to nothing. There is always bringing him back from the grave, but with all that he has done. He wouldn't put it pass Butcher to come up with something to make anyone who tries pay a heavy price. Not to mention that Butcher could regain his own free will and start killing everyone in sight... again.
"Orochimaru is it working?" Minato ask as he and his wife Kushina walk up to him.
"We can help with the seal," Kushina adds.
"No leave it to them," Orochimaru said watching the group of seal masters.
What they're trying to do is unheard of as no one has ever tried to do it before. Opening a gateway to another universe has been done before, but those were always small and one way ones going in or out. They have setup powerful seals and created a doorway that if it works will be able to open to other worlds. They had the Leaf Villages use their chakra to the breaking point and in some cases to the point where they completely burnt out their own chakra system to create the crystal gateway in the shape of a standing ring. With them the cause of Naruto being how he is and the reason why he run away, no one said anything about using the Leaf Village as a resource to get back Naruto.
"Will we be able to find the right world?" Kushina ask as there are countless worlds out there.
"Already been done. My old group went and created seals that activate when a tail beast is nearby and can detect trace amounts of energy left by them," Orochimaru said.
A bright flash of light flash as the seal masters got the gateway working. The vortex trap in the ring was like water standing on its side. The seal masters began to work making sure that they'll be able to open the seal when they wanted to and to be able to tune it from one world to another at will. (1)
"At last," Minato said.
"Alright give me one of those seals. I'm going after my son," Kushina said.
"No," Orochimaru said not flinching as he was given a death glare by Kushina.
"We won't even know if the world is the right one or that it's even safe for humans to be on. That is why we're going to use the Leaf ninjas and if we run out the rest of the village to send through the gate to make sure it's safe first," Orochimaru said.
"Or we can use puppets first," Minato suggested.
"Yes good point and we won't lose seals. Once we know it's safe we can send the Leaf ninjas to search," Orochimaru said.
"But still how many worlds there are to search through," Kushina said knowing it be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
"The seal masters will be trying to get the gateway to lock onto the worlds Naruto looks through by tracing his chakra and the foxes," Orochimaru said but it's still a large number and there's always a chance for a leak of either chakra to put a trace amount on other worlds. Which still narrows down the numbers of worlds and they might get lucky.
"I'll get the Leaf ninjas ready," Minato said as the seal place on all those within the Leaf Village is still in effect. If they don't follow his or Kushina's orders they trigger the seal and they feel the pain.
"Time for them to be put to work," Kushina agreed. "And that also means using their children to search for ours."
