Chapter 1: Earth's Destruction and a new World

ZAAAAP!!!
SCREEECH!!!!
ROOOOOAR!!!
On the planet called Earth, in a city called New York, A group of Kaiju called the Earth Defenders were fighting against two other Groups called the Mutants.
Leading the Earth Defenders was known as the King of Monsters, Godzilla.
Godzilla was a large dark coal Grey lizard/Dragon that had large Spiky spines on his back that go down to his long tail. Godzilla’s spines glowed blue and he then shot out a blue atomic breath attack.
The attack made contact with a monster he’s fighting.
The Kaiju stood on two legs, was purple, had a long tail with a pinch like end, a horn on the head and had two crests on the side of its mouth. This Kaiju was known as Destroya.
Godzilla knew Destroya back many years ago, when he discovered the fate of his son, Godzilla Jr. He swore by his life he’ll defeat Destroya once and for all, and avenge his son.
“ROOOOOOAR!!(I’m gonna make you suffer for what you did to my son Destroya!!)” Godzilla roared.
“SCREEEECH!!(I’d like to see you try Godzilla!!)” Destroya screeched.
Destroya’s crests were then covered in purple electricity and fired her toxic breath attack at Godzilla.
Godzilla braced himself and held his breath, but then heard a familiar bug screech and then, petal dust appeared and created a small, yellow cloud, blocking Destroya’s attack.

Authors note: I’ve played Godzilla Unleashed and Mothras yellow cloud attack can actually protect her or her allies from opponent breath attacks.

Godzilla looked up and saw one of his allies, Mothra.
Mothra was a moth, had blue bug eyes, and beautiful wings.
“Rooooar!(Thanks Mothra. I owe you one!)” Godzilla roared at his buggy ally.
“Screech! Screech!(Don’t mention it! If they can waltz in on this planet and hurt my allies, they have another thing coming!)” Mothra replied.
“Roooar!(Godzilla, Mothra!)” Roared another voice.
The two Kaiju looked back and saw Baragon, Anguirus, and Fire Rodan running to them, completely bruised and bleeding.
Anguirus was a mutated armadillo with a hard crest on his back, spikes on his snout and his head, and had a long, spiky tail.
Baragon was slightly smaller than the others. He was a lizard as well, had big ears, a horn on his head, and had protective back plates.
Fire Rodan was huge, had large wings, spikes on his head, and had a prickly white underbelly.
“Roooar!?(What happened!? Where’s King Caesar!?)” Godzilla asked.
“Rooar!(He betrayed us! The crystals power consumed him!)” Baragon explained.
Godzilla went wide eyed that one of his teammates abandoned them for power.
“Rooar!(We were able to escape, but he’s approaching as we speak, along with some other mutants.)” Anguirus added.
“ROOOAR!!(Hahahahaha! That’s right, and my master will be here as well!)” Destroya said to the defenders.
Godzilla looked back at Destroya and growled, “ROOOAR!!(Let them come, but it’s you I want dead before the others!)” Godzilla roared.
“SCREECH!!(You’ll have to get through me first blood-brother!)” Roared another voice.
A new Kaiju landed next to destroya and smirked.
He resembled Godzilla a lot, but had large crystals on his elbows, had a crest on his head, and his spines were in the shapes of crystals that were smushed together.
“Snarl!(SpaceGodzilla!)” Godzilla snarled.
“Snarl!(Hello Blood-brother! How kind of you to join us here in New York!)” The space Kaiju said.
“ROOOAR!!(You’re nothing like me! I also have a score to settle with you as well for imprisoning my son in those crystals a long time ago!!)” Godzilla roared.
“Sceech!(Hahaha! You still hold a grudge against me? Very well, I’ll kill you first!)” SpaceGodzilla said harnessing his crystals. He then fired a red electrical beam and was heading for Godzilla.
“ROOOAR!!(NOOOO!!)” Baragon roared. He jumped and blocked the attack for Godzilla. The attack went through him and Baragon landed on the ground, barely alive.
“ROOAR!(Baragon!)” Godzilla roared and ran to his fallen ally.
The others followed suit and knelled to their loyal Earth defender.
Baragon weakly opened his eyes and looked at his team. he smiled weakly and coughed up blood,”R….rooooar.(I’m….sorry Godzilla, but...I can’t let you die...not yet.)” bargon weakly growled.
“Grrrrrr.(No, don’t talk, just rest.)” Godzilla growled sadly.
“R...roooar….roooar?(Godzilla….did...did I do well for the team?)” Baragon asked while his remaining life was running dry.
“Roooar. Rooar.(Yes you did Baragon. You have been the greatest Kaiju on this team.)” Godzilla responded as tears formed in his eyes.
Baragon smiled, “Rooar. Roooar.(Thank you Godzilla. You’ve all been great allies to me, and thank you for letting me stand by all of you to the end.)” Baragon thanked.
“Sceech. Screech(We’ll never forget you Baragon. We'll always remember your sacrifice for Godzilla, and for us all.)” Mothra said.
Baragon smiled again and coughed, “Rooar. Rooar. Roooooooooar…..(Thank you, all of you. I’ll never forget you all as well. Goodbye….my friiiiiiends……)” Baragon said weakly as he slowly died.
“Roar!? ROAR!(Baragon!? BARAGON!)” Godzilla shouted trying to wake him up while his tears flowed.
Baragon lied there, lifeless by his team. It was over. Baragon was gone.
“Roar…..ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!!!!!(No…...NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)” Godzilla Roared at the top of his lungs.
His team hung their heads, in honor of their lost friend.
“SCREEECH!!(HAHAHAHAHA!!! How hilarious this is! The King of Monsters feels sad for a dead Kaiju! Priceless!)” Destroya screeched in laughter.
That did it.
Godzilla slowly rose up and sharply turned his head to the two mutant Kaiju. His blood boiled in anger. Then, his body grew, and red leaking energy streaks appeared and started down the two monsters.
“ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!(FIRST MY SON, AND NOW ONE OF MY ALLIES!? I’LL KILL YOU AAAAAAAALL!!!!)” Godzilla roared.
He fired his atomic breath attack and made contact with Destroya, making her fly off her feet and crash into a building.
“SCREEECH!(No one attacks my Kaiju and gets away with it!)SpaceGodzilla screeched.
His spines glowed and he started charging power with his crystals, SCREEEECH!!(DIE ALONG WITH THIS PLANET!!)” He screeched and let out his attack.
Godzilla fired his atomic breath again and the two attacks made contact and started to push each other.
Soon, The earth Defenders banned together and fired their attacks as well, making SpaceGodzilla’s attack fly back to him.
Then, the mutants, along with King Caesar appeared and lended a hand to him, making the two attacks even.
“SCREEECH!!(Give up Godzilla, you can’t win! Accept your fate, along with this planet!)” Destroya screeched.
Godzilla and the others poured as much power as they can to try to stop The mutants, but their combined power, along with the crystals made them really strong. Then, the mutants beam shot forward and collided with the Earth Defenders. They all screeched and roared in pain as they felt the power of the attack colliding with them.
“SCREEEEEEEECH!!!!! (YES!! YEEEES!!! IT’S OVER GODZILLA!!! DIE ALONG WITH THIS PLANET!!)” SpaceGodzilla screeched in victory.
The Earth Defenders let out their final screeches and roars and allowed the light to take hold of them, along with death itself.
“Roooar. (It’s over. We’ve failed.)” Godzilla said as he closed his eyes.
“Your times are not over yet. You will all start over in a new life.” Said a sweet female voice.
Then, The Earth Defenders were engulfed in a yellow aura and they all vanished into thin air.
The last thing Godzilla can remember was the sound of a female voice, and then nothing else. He slowly opened his eyes a few seconds later. All he saw around him was a lush forest, with the beams of the sunlight hitting his face. He then placed his hoof on his head to ease some of the throbbing in his….wait, a hoof!?
Godzilla immediately shot his eyes open by the sudden shock of a hoof on his head. He looked down and saw his scaly claw replaced with a dark grey hoof. He then ran to the closest water source to check his reflection.
His eyes widened with shock by what he was seeing in the reflection. His entire body changed.
He was now what he thinks to be some kind of four legged creature. His body was covered in dark coal grey fur, he had a horn on his head and what looked like to be a bit of scaly armor on the top of his snout. He had his orange eyes, a light grey spiky mane that ran down to the top of his back, and his reptilian tail was replaced with a hard spiky tail. The last thing he sees is a mark on the side of his behind. It was a light grey circle surrounded by three trapezoids.
Godzilla was shocked beyond anything that has ever happened to him. Sure, a lot of crazy things have been happening to him, such as being brought into space, and suffering a meltdown from his body, but this took the cake.
“What happened to me?” He asked himself. He flinched that he didn’t growl or roar like he used to, but he’s now speaking in the human language, “WHAT IS THIS!?” For the first time in all of history of the King of Monsters, Godzilla was freaking out.
“Hello!? Godzilla!?” Shouted a male voice.
Godzilla stopped and looked around for the source of the voice. Even though through the Kaiju language, he can still know who’s voice it belongs to, “Anguirus? Is that you!?”
The bushes rustled a little, and another four-legged creature stood out.
This creature was slightly different than Godzilla. His coat color was brownish grey, had a fang coming out of his mouth and had purple dagger-like eyes. His mane was dark brown, had what looked like to be Bony armor on the top of his snout, the back of his head, and all over his backside that went down to his legs. His tail was furry, but spikes were sticking out of it. To make it more interesting, the front of his hooves had a protective, spiky cast. The last touch was a mark on his behind, which was a grey ball with white spikes and was on fire.
The creature went wide eyed at Godzilla, and then spoke, “Godzilla? Is that really you?”
Godzilla was wide eyed as well, this creature was Anguirus, “Anguirus?” Godzilla asked.
“What happened to us?” Anguirus asked looking himself over in his new form.
“I’m not sure. The last thing I remember was being engulfed by SpaceGodzilla’s attack, seeing white, and then hearing a voice, and now this.” Godzilla tried to explain.
“You think this voice has anything to do with this?” Anguirus asked.
Godzilla nodded, “It’s possible. Though, we need to think of the most important thing right now. If you and I are here, then Mothra and Rodan are out there somewhere. We have to find them.”
“No need to guys.” Said another male voice.
The two Kaiju looked back and were seeing two more creatures.
The first looked like to be male. He had large wings, with claws on them. his body was covered in dark and light brown fur. He had a long tail with a patch of fur at the end, a white underbelly, two red crests on his head, a black beak, and had emerald green eyes.
The other four legged creature was female. She had white skin, a horn on her head like Godzilla, but also had a pair of beautiful butterfly wings with the colors of the rainbow. She also had long, light green mane and a tail that fell to her hoofs, but they seemed to have some holes in them. Her eyes were green on the outside and sky blue on the inside with rich black lashes. The last detail is that she had antennas on the back of her head
“Mothra, Rodan?” Godzilla asked the two newcomers.
“You bet it’s us.” Rodan responded smiling.
“How can you be so calm? Can you see we’re...well, new creatures.” Anguirus said.
“Though we are surprised by our new appearances, we still remembered we are still Kaiju, the Earth Defenders.” Mothra said in a sweet motherly voice.
Anguirus and Godzilla looked at one another, and then smiled. They looked back at their Kaiju allys, “You’re right Mothra. Even though we look different now, we are still Kaiju to the very end.” Anguirus said proudly.
Godzilla then frowned a little, knowing his world is gone, and was somehow transported to a new world.
Mothra looked at her ally/King, knowing he’s upset. She walked over to him and gently placed a hoof under his chin and lifted his head up, making him look into her eyes, “Listen Godzilla, I’m upset as much as you are that Earth is gone forever..” She then smiled, “But what’s important is that we’re all here together and we can start over.”
Godzilla looked away for a sec, but then looked at her and smiled sadly, “You’re right Mothra. I’ll try to adapt to this new world.”
Mothra smiled and nodded, “Good, now, we should-”

The suddenly hear the sound of a creature roaring and three young girls screaming. With their defense blood kicking in, they immediately ran to the source of the sounds.
However, Godzilla, was having a little trouble running on all four, since he was used to running on only two.
“Godzilla, hurry up!” Anguirus called out.
“Easy for you to say!” Godzilla called back.
After putting one hoof in front of the other slowly, Godzilla finally got used to running on four. He finally caught up to his allies and they all came to the location.
A large creature with five heads two tails, and walked on two legs was cornering three small creatures.
The first one was orange, had wings, messy purple mane, tail, and eyes. She had a pair of small wings.
The second was white, had puffy light and dark purple mane mixed, along with a horn on her head and blue eyes.
The final creature was yellow, had rich red mane, tail, had amber eyes and a pink bow on her head.
“Rooooar!(How splendid, three young fillies for us to eat! I call the orange one!)” One of the heads roared.
“Rooar!(I call the yellow filly!)” The other head said.
“Rooar!(The white one is mine!)” The third head said.
“Rooar!?(When will be my turn!?)” The fourth roared.
“ROOAR!(Shut up. When we find our next prey, it will be our turn next!)” The fifth shouted at the fourth head.
The Earth Defenders understood this creature very well, considering they were once massive beasts.
Godzilla couldn’t help but sense a little deja vu from this monster, since it shares the same appearance like King Ghidorah, but doesn’t have any wings.
The three heads shot forward with their mouths opened, ready to eat the fillies.
The screamed, held each other and waited.
Having enough of this, Mothra shot forward at high speed and shot her beam attack at one of its heads.
The attack made contact, and the head in the middle roared in pain. The others stopped and looked down to see Mothra between the filles.
The three fillies the slowly looked up and saw Mothra, looking wide eyed at her.
Mothra looked back at the fillies and smiled, “Don’t be afraid young ones. I mean no harm to any of you. Allow us to handle this.” She said in a motherly voice.
“U...Us?” The yellow filly asked.
Godzilla, Anguirus, and Rodan flew and ran next to her, making the young ones more shocked.
“ROOAR!?(Who are you all, and how dare you interfere with our lunch!?)” The middle head roared extremely upset.
“You will not lay one claw or tooth on these young ones. You’ll have to get through us!” Mothra shouted.
The five headed creature went wide eyed that she can understand him, but then chuckled, “Hmhmhmhm, Rooooar!(Hmhmhmhm, Intersting. I never knew a pony would be able to understand us. However, if you wish to die quickly, I’ll be happy to grant your wish!)” The creature roared.
The creature shot all of its heads forward and tried to eat one of them.
“DEFENDERS MOVE!!” Godzilla commanded.
They all dodged out of the way in time.
“Rodan, attack from the air and take out one of its heads!” Godzilla said to his prehistoric ally.
Rodan nodded and took off, attacking the heads.
“Anguirus, use your sonic roar to confuse it while Rodan has it distracted!” Godzilla said to his spiky ally.
He nodded and rushed forward. he stopped not to far from the creature while Rodan fired his energy beam attack and knocked one of the heads out, distracting it. Anguirus Inhaled deeply and then let out a powerful sonic roar, that made the fillies cover their ears in pain.
“Mothra, use your scales to paralyze him!” Godzilla shouted.
Mothra nodded and flew up to him and showered him with her scales. A yellow cloud appeared and the five headed creature then became woozy and couldn't move.
“My turn.” Godzilla said. He closed his eyes and his mane and tail began to glow blue. Blue fog of heat began to leak out of his mouth as his mane began to glow more brightly. he then shot his eyes open and opened his mouth and shot out his atomic breath attack. The attack made contact to the creatures chest, and it roared in pain. The attack was so strong, it lifted the creature off its legs and fy backward, deeper into the forest.
“ROOOOOAR!!!(WE’LL REMEMBER THIIIIIIIIS!!!!!)” It roared as it vanished deeper into the forest.
Godzilla caught his breath while his mane and tail stopped glowing.
The others ran to him.
“You okay Godzilla?” Anguirus asked.
“Yeah. I’m alright.” He responded to his ally, “Guess my new form took a little more out of my body than usual, but I’ll be okay.”
The kaiju looked back at the three fillies, who were looking at them with pure shock and amazement in their huge eyes, while their jaws hanged from their mouths.
“Are any of you hurt?” Mothra asked the fillies.
They only shook their heads and reattached their hanging jaws.
“That….was…..AWESOME!” The orange filly shouted.
“Golly, that there was amazin! Ah never knew you four were such fighters.” The yellow filly said in a young western voice.
“And the way your mane glowed was so cool.” The white filly said to Godzilla.
“Uhh...thanks.” He responded.
“What are you three doing out here? Don’t you know it’s dangerous to explore a forest without someone looking after you three?” Anguirus asked.
The three looked at each other, but then hanged their heads in shame, “We’re sorry.” They said in unison.
Mothra smiled, “Don’t be. As long as you three are not harmed, all is well.”
The three looked up and smiled.
“Thank ya fer savin us by the way. What are yer names?” The yellow one asked.
“My name is Mothra, guardian of the Earth.” Mothra greeted.
“I’m Rodan, the fastest in the group.” Rodan greeted.
“Call me Anguirus, and one of the toughest members with a formidable defense.” Anguirus said.
“And I’m Godzilla, the leader of my team, known as the Earth Defenders, and the king of monsters.” Godzilla greeted.
“You’re a king!?” The white filly asked in shock.
Godzilla nodded, “Yes. The title of ‘King of the Monsters’ has been passed down for millions of years in my family. After my father died, I became the new King. My son was going to be the new king after I died...but my nemesis Destroya took him away from me, and now he’s gone.”
The fillies looked at Godzilla with sadness in their eyes.
“Golly...Ah’m really sorry ta hear that.” The yellow filly said.
“I have a question, why do you say you’re the king of the monsters?” The orange filly.
Godzilla and the others looked at one another. They nodded to each other.
“Well, we were once large powerful monsters called Kaiju, but apparently, we shrunken down and turned into this.” Godzilla explained looking at his body.
“So yer were once big monsters, then ya’ll shrunken into ponies?” The yellow filly asked.
“Ponies? Is that what we’re called?” mothra asked.
“Well, Godzilla and Anguirus are ponies. Rodan is a Griffon, and you, well...I have no idea what you are.” The white filly said.

Authors note: The CMC don’t know what Changlings look like. They never seen one from the Canterlot wedding...or did they? Eh, not sure, but I’ll say they probably didn’t.

“I see.” Mothra said in understanding.
“If you three don’t mind, can ya help us git outta the Everfree Forest?” The yellow filly asked.
“Might as well. We need answers to what’s happening.” Rodan said.
“Thank ya kindly.”
The Earth Defenders and the fillies starting walking through the forest, until Mothra spoke again.
“What are your names young ones?” She asked.
“Ah’m Applebloom.” The yellow filly greeted.
“I’m Sweetiebelle.” the white one said.
“And I’m Scootaloo.” The orange one greeted.
“A pleasure to meet you three.” Mothra said smiling.
“I want to ask, before you four turned into ponies, griffons, and...whatever you are, what kind of kagu were you guys?” Scootaloo asked.
Mothra gave out a loving laugh. “It’s pronounced Kaiju Scootaloo. Second, I was once a giant Moth.”
“I used to be a large prehistoric pterosaur.” Rodan explained.
“I was a giant spiky Armadillo.” Anguirus said.
“I was a giant, atomic breathing lizard that can swim and breath underwater.” Godzilla said.
“Woah. That’s so cool.” Scootaloo said in awe.
Mothra looked at Sweetiebelle, who was looking at her wings.
“is there something you see little one?” Mothra asked.
“Huh? Oh, sorry Mothra. I just couldn’t help but look at your beautiful wings.” She said looking at her rainbow wings.
“Why thank you. That’s very sweet of you to say that.”
“My sister would die for wings like those.”
“Your sister?”
“Her names Rarity. She’s a fashion designer in Ponyville, where me and the girls live.” Sweetiebelle explained.
“One of our friends Twilight shud help ya’ll out. She’s the student of Princess Celestia.” Applebloom said.
“Princess Celestia?” Godzilla asked.
“She’s the ruler of Equestria, alongside with her sister Princess Luna.” Scootaloo explained.
“Interesting. Even though Princess may not be a high Title like King, but ruling a world by themselves is impressive.” Godzilla said interested in the Princesses of Equestria.
“I’m sure they can help you guys out as well. Come on, Ponyville is just up ahead.” Sweetiebelle said as the three fillies ran ahead.
The Kaiju Defenders ran as well, trying to catch up with the young ones.
