A Forsaken Symbiote

I Thought Being A Symbiote Was Bad...

{Third PoV}

        Twilight closed the door. ‘What?’

The mare at the door was Vinyl Scratch. She had an invitation to a party tonight.

        Weird…

She walked into the bedroom, where Lee sat cross-legged/armed in his “human” form. He had a bored expression, and seemed to be playing with his Scythe.

“The hell was that about?” He asked, twirling the deadly weapon.

Twilight looked at the the invitation, “Vinyl Scratch. She had an invitation to a party tonight. I don’t think I’ve ever been invited though.”

Lee smirked, “Wonder why…” Twilight glared.

        “What’s that supposed to mean!?”

Lee moved his head as if rolling his eyes, “I’ve seen your dance moves. My sister was better at ballet than you with dancing, and my sister NEVER did ballet.” His Scythe disappeared, and he stood up. “Look, maybe you should go. We both need a break, and a party is just what we need!”

This time, Twilight rolled her eyes. “Lee, you can’t go there. You’re nothing like any race known to Equis! The Royal Guard will be sent, and they’d take you!” She started hyperventilating, and Lee shushed her with a finger.

“Girl, I can shapeshift. Plus, the party isn’t tonight, right?” Twilight seemed to calm down. She forgot he could do that, and she sighed in relief. “I’ll just turn into a pony, and you’ll just say I’m an old study buddy.”

Twilight smiled, “I’ll see if I can find a spell to help you last longer in that form.” She trotted downstairs. Lee turned to the pile of Tokens. He picked them up and stored them in him ‘Venom’ space(one of Venom’s powers is a dimensional space).

“I’ll read the tablet while you do that.” He pulled said token out of his chest, sat down, and started to decipher it.

Five hours passed, and Lee learned a quarter of the words. “God I love photographic memory…”

Twilight trotted back into the room, a book Lee never saw before levitated in her aura. He admired her smile, then grimaced at what he thought.

“I found what we need to keep you in a pony form for longer than your normal self. It’ll take some time putting the finishing touches on it.”

Lee shrugged. “Sure. I’ll need to bond soon, I’m feeling withdrawals.” Twilight nodded, and Lee slithered his way towards her. They bonded, but just enough so he could live. Twilight started dozing.

‘That was horrid! I can’t believe it was that bad!’ Toxin whined. They saw the body, and determined she was killed with a knife, or sharp object. Toxin seemed shaken, and Pinkie was starting to get scared.

“Yeah, it… was…” They were outside, and a quarter mile from the police station.

‘I think we should get some help. Maybe we could-’ Before Toxin finished, a pony in shades bumped into Pinkie, and took a double-take.

Vinyl Scratch, one of Pinkie’s first friends along with Bon Bon, seemed less enthused than usual. Bon Bon introduced the soon-to-be party pony to the wannabe DJ. The two clicked, and helped each other with the others dreams. Vinyl hasn’t been around Ponyville in a while, so this surprised Pinkie.

Vinyl spoke, surprised. “Pinkie? What’s wrong?” She stopped, sorrow taking hold. “Nevermind, I know. Bon Bon, right? I heard it from Tavi.”

Pinkie was confused. ‘What? Do I look sad?’

‘Your mane is a bit droopy. Weird...’ Toxin informed. Pinkie looked to her side, and sure enough, there was her pink mane with way less poof to it. It was half way to ‘flat mode’.

She looked back to Vinyl, and nodded. “I’m trying not to be saddy-miss-sadderson. She wouldn’t want that.”

Vinyl smiled. “You know? Your right! She wouldn’t want this. I came here to have a party, but when I heard about her… death, I stopped working on it. Now I’ll have it in honorary of her life! Thanks Pinkie!” Vinyl said, trotting away.

“What just happened?” Pinkie asked, not expecting an answer. Which made her jump when Toxin did.

‘I think you got the plot moving...’ Toxin said. And with a twitch of Pinkie’s tail, a potted plant nearly fell on her head as she barely dodged.

“Geez! It’s like some mastermind is made that you said that!” Pinkie said, just for another pot to fall and miss.

‘We better get inside. We should prepare for the party. We don’t know if the murderer might be there or not.Toxin explained. ‘We need to protect ponies from whoever it is.’

It took the rest of the day to get the spell ready. Twilight sat in the middle of the library and placed the book in front of her.

“Okay. This spell was hard, and the fact it was made for another being to turn into ponies. I couldn’t find something that would keep you stable in a shape shifting, so I got a transformation spell instead. It uses a condaxiumel seal to re-” The purple mares rambling was interrupted when Lee cut it.

        “Where’s Spike?”

Twilight froze. “At Rarity’s. Him and the Cutie Mark Crusaders are having a sleepover.”

Lee tilted his head. “Aren’t they girls? That must be awkward...”

“He’s the one who suggested it.”

‘You go Spike. You got all dem bitches.’ Lee wished he could smirk.

“Just tell me what it does. I don’t speak any other magic talk other than Dark and Sacrifice magic’s.” Lee sighed. Twilight tilted her head.

“You know Dark Magic? But that’s forbidden!” Twilight yelled, fear written over her face.

“I know of it. I understand it, but I don’t use it. I based some of my skills off it, and adapted some of it’s practices to my Sacrificial Spells. Just to make them more flexible. Magic you use has the defense, but what I aim is to use offence as defence. Protect by attacking. And I wanted my spells do adapt to defense and offence. No evil here.” Lee said, sitting down.

Twilight sighed. “It… it will give you the power to change into a pony at will. But it isn’t perfect. You can only have one form, and you need to think of what it looks like when I cast it. You’ll only have one chance, and whatever you choose, and there is no changing it after the spell is complete.”

Twilight gave Lee a serious stare. “One chance. Don’t mess up. If you think of anything else it wont work, and if there is a messed up part of the body, you have to deal with it and you can’t go to the party.” Lee sighed.

“I get it. Ready as I’ll ever be!”

Twilight got in a crouched position and readied her horn. It lit, and Lee got distracted by the. Worst. Possible. Thing!

He took notice of how Twilight looked… And her image implanted itself into his head. He tried thinking of a male pony instead, but all he did was change the color and the hairstyle a bit.

A beam of purple encased him, and he felt that it was too late. His body shifted, and he felt blood flowing. He felt flesh, bone, blood, and magic. He felt a mouth appear on his face, two eyes, and a snout. Hair, fur, cutie mark and the rest of that category also felt new to him… or her…

Twilight opened her eye to see Lee… only to find a mare, similar to hersel. The exceptions of which were vast. The color of his- her coat was a dark grey, her mane was raven black with two white lightning boltish streaks in the messy mane. Twilight moved her head to see her cutie mark was a black Scythe. She had a horn that was a shade lighter than the coat, and when she opened her eyes, two, pale blue orbs stared back at her.

“Ohhhh~ That hurt-” The mare froze. Her voice sounded almost like the combination of Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight herself. “Oh my god I’m a girl!!!”

Twilight’s shock turned to amusement, “Looks like Carnage gets a mother after all.” She erupted with laughter, and Lee blushed crimson.

“Th- that’s a rude thing to say! I got distracted!” She laughed harder, “Stop it! How do I change back!?”

Twilight calmed herself just enough to reply. “The transformation- Hahaha!!! Needs at least- Hahahahahahah!!!! Two days to settle with your body- Ahahahahaaaaa~ So your stuck like this for that duration… Ahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa~!!!”

        Lee’s eyes grew. “Damn it!”

After Twilight calmed herself completely, she gave an intense stare. “You’ll need a name...”

“Nonononononononononono!!! I’m not giving myself a pony name!” Lee flailed her hooves, a pleading- almost begging, look.

“I’m not calling you Lee in front of my friends. How about Ruby?” Twilight tilted her head.

        Lee growled. “No… Fine, I’ll name myself…”

She thought a moment, then came up with a cool enough name. “Say I’m half Zebra, and I havn’t learned magic yet. My name will be Xilery Star.” Xilery was a Zebra name Lee remembered from when he came into Equestria. He befriended her before her passing…

“Xilery? I like it.” Twilight said. She smiled, and ‘Xilery’ just stared. “Are you going to smile?”

Xilery seemed to force herself to smile. Twilight gave her a concerned look, and Xilery explained. “I haven't had facial muscles in years.” Twilight nodded at that. The truth was, she didn’t want to smile. She couldn’t. She smiled when other people got hurt, or something funny happened, and maybe even when someone was being nice. But she didn’t feel any of those.

She wouldn’t feel any of those.
