Ron did let Adagio come with him to the karaoke, Though Adagio couldn't exactly go there wearing the clothes she was wearing. Society tended to be cruel, so if she was wearing this stuff society may call her a wore. So Ron gave her a dress his mother used to wear and showed her to the bathroom.
"Now when your done just come get me alright, I'll be on the couch. I may be napping." Ron said as her placed a hand on Adagios shoulder. Adagio's eyes shifted down to look at Ron's hand. A light blush forming upon her face.
"I'll be sure to wake you if you are sleeping." Adagio said in a soft voice. She was beginning to feel love towards this human. Which was odd since Adagio had never felt any form of this feeling towards any animal since a bad experience of betrayal from her own kind. Ron slowly removed his hand from upon her shoulder.
"Alright so I'll b-be on the c-couch." Ron said stuttering slightly. "You get dressed." He smiled. Adagio gave a soft smile back as she entered the bathroom closing the door behind her. She was met with her reflection of herself in a mirror. Her hair was all frizzy and messy from lack of care. Her irises showed deep sorrow that the rest of her body wasn't willing to show. On her right arm she had a couple scraps from when she fell to the concrete ground. She remembered how she had seen the once life filled eyes of Sonata turn to nothing but lifeless cloudy orbs. Adagio hated to see herself in such a fragile state. She wasn't suppose to be the one who was to break down, she was suppose to ne the one to stay strong. Adagio rubbed her right arm as some tears welled in her eyes.
"Girls I miss you." she nearly collapse to her knees. "It's not fair~!" she punched the wall next to the mirror putting a small dent in the wall. Adagio looked up into her own eyes as she peered into the mirror. "Ron needs someone right now, just get dressed and go with him." she smiled slight as she slowly slipped off her clothes. She crossed her arms to cover her breasts as she looked in the mirror. Adagio was looking at herself in the mirror much like a teenage human girl. She was curious as to what her looks would be classified. She noticed her curves were something that caught her eye. She ran her fingers down her own side as she looked in the mirror. Adagio still held the dress in one of her hands. She started to put it on. The dress was red, the dress part or skirt draped over only one leg to allow the other one to be visible. The dress was shoulder strapless so her arms and shoulders were completely naked. Ron didn't mention this but the building they were going to was also rather fancy so at least Adagio wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. Adagio admired herself in the mirror. She was cheering up but deep down her eyes still showed sadness. She took a deep breath as she slowly exited the bathroom to go see Ron. He wasn't lying when he said he would be napping on the couch. While she was getting dressed he must have been doing the same. Instead of the red sweatshirt he was wearing earlier he was wearing a simple dress shirt and pants with a tie. Ron immediately woke up when Adagio entered the room.
"I w-was going to sneak and get one of my dads old outfits but, since he is drunk and sleeping in his room. Probably best I don't go in there." Ron said as he yawned. "If anyone is going to stick out at this party, it will be me due to my simple outfit." Ron finally noticed how Adagio looked in his mothers old dress. Ron suddenly became speechless.
"So Ron, Who will be giving us a ride?" Adagio questioned.
"Oh well umm Coda will be giving us the ride we need. After all he was the one who told me about this place... I have no idea where it is." Ron said as he slowly stood up. It seemed as if Coda had heard his name because right when his name was mentioned there was a knock at the door. The source of the Knock was Coda.
"Lets get a move on you two, we have to be there soon." Coda said. So Ron and Adagio exited the house and entered the car. Coda smiled as he then drove to this place. Coda took fifteen minutes to get there but they did make it. When the pulled into the parking lot Adagio's siren like sense kicked in. She could feel the music, it was lovely. Being devoid of magic didn't prevent or hinder Adagios ability to sense music. After all the only magic she had was her voice. She was still a siren, just one without her voice. Much like a song bird who can't sing. The singing brought a smile to Adagios face. The smile grew once they entered the building. The more she heard singing the more she wanted a go at it again.
"Ron, Ron~!" Adagio hollered "Can I sing, I want to sing." Adagio smiled.
"I don't see why you can't, Go ahead go sing." Ron said as he sipped on his glass of water. Coda spit out his water as he heard this. He was at the battle of the bands so he knew that Adagio's voice was wrecked. Never the less Adagio made her way onto the stage after she had selected the song she wanted to sing. She was incredibly nervous. She wanted so badly for her voice to be the sironic beauty it once was. The beat slowly started and she tried the first line of the song. The words coming out raspy and terrible. She felt terrible, One crowed member even shouted boo. Adagio felt tears starting to form. Then those tears turned to anger as she requested for the beat to start over. Ron started to head for the stage to get her off to prevent her from upsetting herself. Adagio breathed out slowly as she closed her eyes. she then started singing again. "How can you see into my eyes like open doors?" Her voice sounded beautiful and a complete opposite of before. "Leading you down into my core where I've become so numb" Adagio opened her eyes slowly. "Without a soul my spirit's sleeping somewhere cold. Until you find it there and lead it back home.." Adagio smiled at her own voice. "Wake me up inside. Wake me up inside. Call my name and save me from the dark." Adagio started to walk around the small stage. "Bid my blood to run. Before I come undone. Save me from the nothing I've become."
"Yeah go Adagio~!" Ron shouted as he was being overwhelmed with excitement. None was falling under a spell because Adagio was devoid of magic. Adagio's voice was just coming back to her.
"Now that I know what I'm without...You can't just leave me... Breathe.. into me and make me real,
Bring... me... to... life" Adagio clenched one of her fists. "Wake me up inside. Wake me up inside. Call my name and save me from the dark" Adagio removed the spikey band from her hair which allowed her hair to hang loosely. "Bid my blood to run. Before I come undone. Save me from the nothing I've become." Adagio sang as she began to feel more and more alive. "Bring me to life....Bring me to life." Adagio began to sway her hips slowly to the song. "Frozen inside without your touch. Without your love, darling. Only you are the life among the dead." Adagio breathed slowly. She started to sing the part of the song normally song by a male. She did this rather well, Though she obviously sounded nothing like a male. "All this time I can't believe I couldn't see. Kept in the dark but you were there in front of me. I've been sleeping a thousand years it seems! Got to open my eyes to everything~! Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul~! Don't let me die here...There must be something more~! Bring... me... to..... life~!" Adagio held the note when she sang the word life. She was by far one of the best singers here. Ron was ecstatic he was jumping up and down.
"Yeah~!" He yelled out in a cheerful way.
" Wake me up inside. Wake me up inside. Call my name and save me from the dark! Bid my blood to run! Before I come undone! Save me from the nothing I've become~!" Adagio lowered her head as she finished up the song with this last part. "Bring me to life.....Bring me to life~!" Adagio finished the song and cheers broke out everywhere in the crowed. Some asking and begging for an encore. Ron ran up onto the stage in excitement.
"Adagio you sounded absolutely amazing." He went to hug her only to have her grab him and lock lips with him in a kiss. Adagio so badly wanted to just tear Ron's clothes off. That was exactly what was going to happen.
