//------------------------------// // It Takes Some Getting Used Too! (Amethyst Star; Scene 1) // Story: To be the First! // by Sparkler-iFIC //------------------------------// There's just no fun these days. It takes a lot more then that to get Amethyst down though! It's not like her job, or her reputation had been destroyed or anything like that. Amethyst had just wished sometimes that Twilight Sparkle never came to this town. But when she does think those thoughts, the horrible images of regret and sorrow come back to her. If Twilight never came she never would have made friends. If she didn't, then Nightmare Moon would win and all of Equestria would be in total chaos. Discord would be set free, Queen Chrysalis and her army would prevail, King Sombra would be able to take over the whole Empire, the plunder seeds would sprout and there would be no way of stopping it, and then of course Lord Tirek would come and destroy everything we all love. Beautiful thoughts really. Amethyst gave a small sigh, sitting down at her table. Holding a pencil she tapped it against the desk, nothing productive was ever in her life these days. Even that pencil tapping got on her nerves! With a quick snap, she had used her magic breaking the pencil in half. Throwing it out the window there was a cat yowl, a classic sound effect in this pastel pony world. "I mean it's not like-" She blinked as she saw a stallion struggling to fix his.. Was that a snow cone machine? Obviously all he needed to do was pull down the lever at the same time screw in the rest of that bolt to the left. Using her magic she did it for him. It started working and he had the expression that made him look as if he had just seen a ghost. This one mare trotted by with books and papers, all a complete mess, unclean and obviously she was in a rush. Stopping to help her, she used her magic quickly organizing just about everything. The mare was quick, and afterwards, the one mare she had just helped seemed happy and less stressed. A stallion passing by had a bowl and saddlebag full of gemstones, and unorganized notes and registration forms. He had fallen, dropping everything. With ease she used her magic lifting up his notes and saddlebag, fixing everything into place making it nice and neat. At the spark of the horn she had preset his bowl, the gemstones all sorted by color, so neatly organized it was like there was an invisible divider, that separated the gems into color groups. He thanked her kindly before continuing on with his day like she did with hers. Giving a beaming smile the mare continued to pass through town. She hardly even realized what she had done for those ponies back there, required kindness, observatory skills along with organization. She still had it! Now brought up the question in her mind. How do I show everyone else that I have it in me as well?
