Adagio looked around as she entered the kitchen. Her vibrant eyes flaring with gleam as the light reflected off of them. Ron was bedazzled by the color and beauty contained in even just her eyes. Ron was going to try and say something but word were failing to slide off his tongue.
"Who were you talking to?" Adagio questioned as she glanced at the cell phone that Ron was grasping tightly.
"Hey lady I think it's none of your business... I was talking tooooo a friend." Ron raised a brow at Adagio as he was both entranced in her beauty and dumbfounded by how uncomfortable he felt around her.
"Sorry, sorry, You are right I shouldn't snoop into your business." Adagio said in a rather soft voice as she began to grow slightly tired.
"Maybe you should lay down, you look tired." Ron said as he noticed the tiresome look deep within Adagios eyes.
"Your right, I could use a little bit of rest." Adagio said as she yawned.
"Then how about you head to the spot you slept last night. I have no problem with you sleeping in my bed....as...of...right now." Ron smiled as he began to feel even more awkward about this whole situation. He didn't know why but there was a growing attraction to this lady he didn't even know. Hell he didn't even know her name. None the less he walked her to his room so she could sleep. He sat in a chair next to his bed waiting till she passed out. His eyes getting heavy themselves as he waited. Since when was this old chair ever comfortable? Ron eventually fell into a deep sleep.
There was a slamming knock on the front door of the apartment. Ron shot out of his chair and hit the deck like a soldier under fire. Ron quickly realized how ridiculous he was being and slowly stood to his feet. Ron was rather startled by the sudden pounding on his door. So in response he slowly crept to the sound of the thundering pounds. Ron slowly opened the door to be met with the face of Coda the friend he had called on the phone earlier.
"Dude I have been sitting out here knocking for six minutes mind letting me come in before my balls fall off?!" Coda gave Ron a look that showed he was angry. After all it wasn't exactly warm out anymore. "The cold out here is enough to make mount Everest shit it's pants." Coda jokes as he walked in without permission. He slowly slipped off his coat as he came in.
"Yeah lets just walk in without me answering~!" Ron rolled his eyes as he closed the door which gave slight resistance as the breeze outside blew on it.
"Now about this girl you were talking about on the phone, where is she exactly?" Coda said as he rubbed the little bit of scruff he had on his chin. He was trying to grow a beard but it was miserably failing. Coda then slowly looked back at Ron. Codas bright green eyes had quite the sinister look in this dimly lit room. Though Coda was very harmless.
"She is sleeping in my bed at the moment Coda, She needed the sleep so I let her use my bed." Ron gave a slight blush as he rubbed the back of his head. He coughed allowing the blush to fade as he then looked back at Coda. "Anyways we should probably keep our voices down so we don't wake her, she seems very irritable." Ron said as he kept his voice at a now low whisper.
"I'm still confused at the fact that there is a women here and you haven't attempted to you know... bone her." Coda said rather bluntly.
"Dude unlike you I don't have the urge to screw everything that wears a dress." Ron said as he crossed his arms. Coda let out a fake gasp
"Ron I feel as if you take me for some kind of man whore, That hurts bro~." Coda gave a smirk as he made his remarks.
"That's not what I meant, I just want my first time to be true. you know what I mean?" Ron said as he got uncomfortable.
"That..... has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard you say." Coda said as he gave a quick facepalm. "Dude you have been single since I met you. Don't you think it's time to stop being such a virgin."
"Dude stop talking your gonna wake her.........." Ron froze in the midst of his own words. Ron started making the shut up motion with his hand across his neck.
"She's behind me isn't she?" Coda said with a similar tone of voice he had this whole time. Coda slowly turned around to see a face he recognized. Unlike Ron Coda had been at the battle of the bands. He had seen Adagio and her friends fail in their plan for world domination. Codas irises and pupils shrank as a fear washed over him. He did not say a word as of right now, though there were several things he wanted to say.
"Would either of you like to explain why your talking so loud?" Adagio smacked her lips together in a tired manor. Her large mass of hair was all messy. Even now Ron couldn't help but stare at her. She was very beautiful, despite her whole suppose to be dead thing. "You two are very loud I must say." Adagio put one of her hands on her cheats where the hole used to be. She kept her hand there as if the wound was still existent.
"Sorry we were being so loud. I told Coda he needed to be quite. This shows how well he listens." Ron rubbed the back of his own head again as a red blush throbbed under his eyes and on his cheeks.
"Sooooooo Adagio Dazzle, where are your companions? you know the ditzy one and the emo." Coda said flatly "They usually are right by your ass." Coda had become very mean now that he saw who tis women was. Adagio after all had mind controlled the entire school. Adagio immediately clenched her fists as the images of her dead friends flashed though her head. Tears were immediately welling in her eyes.
"What are you talking about Coda? you know her?" Ron said as he now became rather confused.
"Don't you ever mention my friends by such bias terms." Adagio clenched her fists tighter as tear began to run down her cheeks. Ron noticed this immediately. Ron quickly without even thinking pulled Adagio into a hug. Coda said nothing all he did was watch as his friend hugged this women. Adagio was caught off guard by the hug so she let out a gasp at first. Then the sense of security overwhelmed her as Ron had his arms wrapped around her. She slowly wrapped her arms around him as well. Her tears soaking into the T-shirt Ron was wearing. Coda's eyes suddenly looked like they were feeling sorrow for what he had said. He had never gotten an answer to his question but he didn't want to ask it again.
"It's ok your here and your safe." Ron said trying to make Adagio feel safe. "Soooo your name Is Adagio huh?" Ron said as he remember that Coda had called her by name.
"Y-yes my name is Adagio." She sniffled in response. Then one of those time when you honestly think things can't get any worse happened. In this case it got worse because a drunken father who had lost a poker game had finally arrived home. Everyone could her his mumbling rage the moment he entered the door. Ron's eyes widened as he heard his father enter the room.
"Oh shit~!" Ron said in a kind of whining voice. Ron's father entered the room to see Ron holding some girl and to see Coda. Whom he strongly disliked.
"RON GOD DAMMIT~!" His father shouted "I TOLD YOU I DON'T WANT CODA IN MY DAMN HOUSE!" Greg, Ron's father said as he thundered his way into the room all the way.
"Dad calm down, There is no reason for this." Ron said trying to get in the way of his father. Greg knocked Ron back with a swift backhand slap to the eyes. Ron fell o the ground holding his eyes. Adagio stood there watching. Her raspberry eyes flashed to a golden snake like eye. This happened quickly they were only gold for a couple seconds. Sort enough that nobody noticed. She had seen violence amongst groups before. Though she had never seen parents be so violent before.
"Coda you get the hell out of here, Same goes for you womennnnn." Greg said as he turned towards Adagio "I want her out before you go to that stupid karaoke part Ron." Greg said as he thundered his way to the living room. The drunken gorilla sat down in his recliner and he watched TV. Almost as if this whole confrontation had never happened. Adagio slowly got down on her knees, she placed a hand over Ron's eye. She had never felt such compassion for a human before. This human on the other hand looked like he could use a friend.
"Great I have a karaoke to go to and I look like shit." Ron said as he looked up at adagio who was covering his black eye. "What am I gong to do?" Ron let out a long and soft sigh. Adagio sat there with him as she was lost in thought.
"If it would help I c-c-could go with you to the k-karaoke." Adagio said as the thought of being around singing gave her a sense of meaning. Then again how would she handle being around something so native to her.
