My Journey

Chapter 10: A Meeting Of Good Intention

I jogged through the woods once again towards the field. It was a beautiful day out. The storm had past and left the ground extremely muddy which made it quite hard to jog, but I did it anyways.

I approached the creek in the distance while I slowed my pace to try and get some more air in my burning lungs. I reached the creek and sat down in the mud getting my rear end soaked, but to be frank, I didn't really care at that moment for all I was trying to do was get some well needed oxygen within me.

When I had finally stopped breathing heavily I stood up and regretted it almost immediately as my head started to spin and become light. It took a few moments but my head came back to me and I teleported back home. I grabbed my fishing rod, the tackle box and a bag to hold the fish that I was hoping to obtain. I teleported back and walked closer to the creek to cast my rod. The water was flowing very fast so I had to make sure to put some more wait on the line.

Sure enough, after a few casts I got a bite and started to reel it in. It took a little bit because this particular fish was a fighter and didn't want to give up. But I finally was able to get the first fish that day. It was one of those ugly looking ones that I had never seen before back on Earth but this one seemed to have more strength then the others and was smaller, though it was still a decent size. It turns out that those fish are great for eating, they taste absolutely divine. I cast my rod in once again and waited patiently for the food to come to me.

The fishing was now over and I had caught an abundant amount of food. I had brought them home and cut them up, smoked most of them on the grill and put them inside a ziplock bag that I placed in the fridge. I then place a few other fish that would get eaten in a few days. Don't get me wrong, smoked fish is good, but fried fish just cant be beat. I left one fish out so that I could have dinner. It was getting late, and Celestia was going to be setting her sun soon. Normally I would wait longer for dinner but I was really starting to get hungry.

I had finished with the fish that I was cooking and brought it to the table to eat. I let it cool down for a couple of minutes and then began to stuff my face once I had seasoned it with all the necessities a man could need. I was always a pig when it came to eating alone. I would grab the fish with both hands and begin chewing in the most idiotic way, but hey, that is just me being me I suppose.

I had finished eating and cleaned off my plate in the sink. I didn't have a dishwasher so I had to do everything by hand, but it wasn't that hard especially if you get into a habit of always cleaning the dishes that you use after you use them. I then headed off to the couch, picked up my guitar and started playing. I sang with the song perfectly and the chords were straight as always on this world. I don't know what it is with this place and music but I like it and could play for hours on end if I chose.(Which I did choose from time to time.) But I couldn't play for hours this time as I only played for an hour and then my brain started to leave me as I traveled to my bedroom in the distance.

~Celestia~

Celestia was relaxed now that the threat of the 'Human' was gone. Though truth be told she still feared it, she knew now that 'he' only wanted peace. And that is what he got now, peace. She wondered what he would do with it, would he live by himself like a hermit? or would he eventually open up and confront them in a friendly manner? She decided to find out.

~Jesse~

I got out of bed and gave a loud yawn. I went and put a new pair of cloths on. I knew eventually I would need more cloths to survive the winter that was on its way as the ones I was wearing at the moments were getting really old and saggy. I would also need to stack up on food before the creek froze over but that was in all do time. Maybe later I would go out and fish again, if I didn't then I might be forced to do that last thing I wanted to do. Get a job and buy my food from Canterlot. The very thought made me shiver, however if I was going to survive then that might just be what I had to do (if they would accept me that is.). I didn't have a fire place so there was no need to worry about wood, however power was a problem. I didn't know if there was a limited supply or if it was unlimited. But the main thing is, is that if I run out of power, I run out of heat. However I did have my body heat, thick blankets, sleeping bags, heavy jackets and coats and everything a man could need when the winter comes, but still, not having to worry about all that heavy stuff would be very convenient.

I went to the kitchen and brought out some more fish to cook for breakfast. It didn't take too long to cook the fish and before I knew it I was having a delicious meal that would give me the energy for today. Not that I had anything planned but still like I said before I might go out and fish some more. I thought about going out for another jog but I knew better then to strain my muscles after yesterdays work out. But that left the one question that awaited me and was now bothering me, what was I going to do? Though it is true that I could play my guitar for hours on end, playing for an entire day would sicken even me.

I had finished my breakfast, cleaned my plate and headed over to the couch. I had grabbed my guitar and started playing a song that, to be honest I wasn't that good at but thanks again for this world and its strange fetish with music.

~Shining Armor~

Armor had been given the distinct duty to find an bring the creature to Celestia. Though he was told not to force it or provoke it he might end up doing that anyway. He despised the creature for what it had done. He despised the creature for what it was. An alien of such power should be locked up or even killed but no, instead they let the creature roam free. It could kill any of then at any time!. It was absurd and it seemed like he was the only who saw it. But he was given an order and he would see it through, no matter what.

He approached the building in the distance and, as he neared it he could hear the distinct sound of music coming from it. He looked through the window of the building and noticed the creature playing its strange instrument. It seemed to really like music, maybe they could use that. He shook his head from the thoughts and approached the door, giving it a few knocks. The instant he did the music stopped, as expected. He could hear the distinct sound of feet walking closer to the door. Armor had expected him to open the door and peek his head out but instead the door opened with an erie red glow surrounding the door knob. The door opened and as soon as the creature saw him it blasted him back into a tree behind shining. "What the hell do you want!" The creature shouted.

"Please- j-just listen to me." Armor said as he tried to get air into his lungs. The blow the creature gave him had knocked all the air out of him and may have fractured a couple of his ribs.

"Why the HELL do you think I will listen to YOU of all people!?" The creature said with rage in its eyes. And then all of the sudden, it was gone, just like that. The creature walked up to him and reached out his hand. Armor took it and the creature brought him back up on his hooves.

"Thanks." Armor said with a little disgust in his voice. "Princess Celestia has requested your presence." He said standing straight and tall.

At this the creature raised an eyebrow in question. "Why would Celestia want me?" The creature asked in confusion. All Shining could do was shrug his shoulders at this.

Then the creature grabbed him and shoved him against the tree and spoke: "If there is any funny business ANY whatsoever, you and all the others will pay for it." The creature said with a snarl and then released him. "When does she want to see me?" The creature asked.

"High Noon tomorrow." Armor said.

"Tell her I'll be there." With that shining nodded his head and teleported out of there.

~Jesse~

"High noon... I wonder if its gonna be like the film." I said with a slight chuckle to myself. "That would be epic." I said still laughing. I headed back inside, closed the door and prepared for the next day, I prepared for High Noon.
