While wandering the forest Spike couldn't find any timberwolves. This felt highly strange for him, the last time he went to the Everfree Forest he was nearly die or would have been hurt a lot worst if Applejack hadn't save him.
"Now if I was a timberwolf where would I be?"Spike thought then headed further to the forest.he continue going to the forest until he notice that the grass was disappearing.Spike observed at his surroundings. There were pillars that were destroyed,stone floors now cracked from each tile, and a roof which was covered in tree vines with some cracks and pieces now decaying with age.
"This looks like it could have been a kingdom or something? Maybe the princesses had a another castle or something."
Spike continue to observe the "kingdom" by entering the hallways, Spike looked at the texture of the hallway walls seeing a library, He continues to search around the area while their was books still on the shelves. The way they were shape looked different like the books Twilight has. They were thinner and much more longer, but the more he sees them more closing he realize that the language was different. Spike continue to see if anything more was around, however on the wall was being interesting to him so out of curiosity Spike step closer to the wall seeing strange yet familiar figures.
What Spike saw was a tapestry hanging from the wall. The tapestry had the entire town of Equestria along with Canterlot above it.
Spike was frighten for what he saw and begins to backed away from the wall as he headed to another room. This room seems to have been destroy by age or nearly touched, he can clearly see the it was once a weapon forge. Spike started to get curious and continue to spend more time around the weapon forge. Spike was about to leave until he discover something inside the old cabinet. Spike opens it and it contains a chest which was really funny that he found a chest in the caves not to long ago. Spike grabbed the chest and pulled it out of the cabinet,The curious dragon study the chest,It was old yet in very good condition,Spike was even stun to see it in this condition.
"Woah...I wonder what's inside?"
Spike searched the chest revealing rusty swords and armor. He silently sighs for getting junk but yet surprised to see the armor on the stand it was about 6 foot while the weapons were 7 inches long. Spike was about to head out til something caught his eye. He sees a sword inside the open stone stand .He approached it and inspected it. Spike smile knowing that the sword was still in good condition but was covered in dust.
Spike stepped forward and grabbed the sword from the stand, Spike acknowledges the sword but notices that it was longer and heavier than the one he found in the cave,he took a few couple swings from the sword while trying to get used to the swords weight.
"Maybe I can take it with me?I can't leave a good sword that wasn't used rust.(sigh)Twilight gonna kill me for bringing real swords into the Library."
While searching around the armory, Spike was lucky enough to find a sheathe attached to a rope for the new sword. Spike left the temple and decide to return home. He has been in the Everfree Forest for about a hour maybe even more. Spike turn his head seeing the two swords sheathe on his back,he smile for a bit knowing that the discovering he found was a pretty good day but it will come short if he sees Twilight. However while he was walking home Spike didn't realize that deep in the forest, something was watching him.
"Target is male, has purple and green scales, I could sense his energy so that doesn't mean he's a dinosaur. Yep this is the one.The boss will be happy knowing we found him."
