You want to help Fluttershy, but you have not become reckless. You know that you should not disturb Fluttershy when she is performing the stare. 

You close your eyes and cover your ears as well. You don’t want to hear the distressing noise. A minute pass. Then another. You are sweating all over your body. Then, suddenly, what sounds like rocks breaking enter your ears. Did Fluttershy succeed? Or… did she fail? You tremble when you think of the latter.

Then you feel a hoof on your back. You stand up and open your eyes. Fluttershy is alright. The cockatrice is gone. You are very happy that Fluttershy is fine. You embrace her into your hooves. Then, the noise of a chicken squeaking draws your attention to some bushes on your left. “There is Elizabeak!” Fluttershy says happily.

Now, you can finally return to your friend’s cottage with her safely and help her with her animals!
