As Claire ran, she could see a hill across from the fair with a tree on the top, gazing over the fair. She decided to sit at the top. When she made it to the top, she began to sob till she felt a wing wrap around her tightly. She looked up to see Prism, giving her a warm smile.
"Prism.." She mumbled as she hugged him. For the rest of the afternoon, Prism said comforting and encouraging words to cheere Claire up, but no matter how much he tried, she wouldn't stop crying.
"Claire, just don't think about what Candy said." Prism said.
"But Prism... Candy ment those things she said. How am I supposed to get over the fact that I wasn't supposed to exsist?" Claire said sadly.
"Claire, don't think you weren't supposed to exsist. If you didn't exsist, I don't know what I would do."
"Whatever..." Claire mumbled under her breath." You and Candy probably would Have a relationship if I didn't exsist." Prism sighed. He didn't want Claire to fell like this, especialy on their date. As Claire sobbed into Prisms chest, she felt somepony tap her on the shoulder. She looked up to see Ticket Master carying something in his mouth. It was a stuffed animal.
"Mmmph mmph mum" Ticket said.
"Pardon?" Claire said, looking up and wiping away her tears. Ticket levitated the animal with his magic and said, " Here you go" He handed Claire the animal." I saw the whole thing, and I felt bad for you, so I decided to give you this. Take it from me, it will comfort you."
"Thanks, but I can't take this. You don't have to give this to me just over a little argument."
"...Little?..." Prism said quietly, trying to hide it with a cough. Claire shot him a glare.
"No no, I insist, ma'm."
"Well... thanks." Claire said, taking the animal. As Claire shook his hoof, Prism said, "Well, we should be going. Its getting late and we have someplace to go."
"Prism..." Claire said, huffing as Prism dragged her down the other side of the hill back to town.
