Late morning, near in a clearing near the everfree, the new cave...
Fuso let his enemies recover from the sheer shock of the ear-splitting roar. Once they did, they growled at Fuso. All he could do was chuckle.
"<You are no match for me! Fight me! I dare you!>" he growled to the wolves.
Though the words were foreign, the meaning was clear, and the timberwolves prepared to charge. They attacked as one, but Fuso took them out with ease. Cracking two in one bite, smashing three with his tail, making one fly straight into a tree. As he stepped on another to, smashing it to pieces, he didn't notice one crawling towards the cave. Scout bit the lone wolf's head off, and smashed it against a wall. The sound of the destroyed Timberwolf further away grabbed all the attackers' attention, and they stopped attacking Fuso to see what had happened. Seeing new prey, they jumped off of Fuso and ran towards the cave.
"<Oh, this isn't good.>" Scout said as he saw the horde of wooden wolves come straight at him.
"<Gah! Running!>" He and his family ran deeper into the cave, an open area leading off into smaller tunnels. Seeing the possibility, Scout and Blue Eyes set a trap. When the wolves came into sight, they pushed a rock onto them, crushing them and blocking the entrance.
"<Phew, that was close!>" Scout said, with the words echoing throughout the cave.
The boulder began to move, and the children prepared to atrtack whatever was moving the rock. To their relief, it was their father.
"<Dad!>" the children all cried out in unison.
"<Kids!>" He ran up to his children to give them a hug. "<Thank goodness you’re alright. When I saw the rock fall, I prepared to see the worst.>"
"<Oh, come on, gramps,>" Scout said, "<Look at us, we're fine.>"
"< If you say so. Oh, who's this yellow sack of feathers?>" Fuso said, taking notice of Fluttershy.
"< Father, this is who came to see us today. I don't exactly know her name though....>" Mogami said to her father.
"< I-I'm... Fluttershy....>" she said in a sheepish tone.
"<What did she say? I couldn't hear her, even WITH the acoustics in here. So, do you care to run that by us again, Ms...?>" Fuso said to the cowering pony.
Flutershy said, slightly louder, "< I'm Fl-Fluttershy.>"
"< Ah, the stuttering type. Well, I suppose I'll get used to it,>" Fuso said.
They then proceeded to leave the cave, and when they got out, Kongo was just coming back, and she had the duty of bringing back their kill. While they were digging in, they heard something. As they listened, it got louder. They heard howls, moving branches, and rustling leaves, and much to their chagrin, the sounds were getting louder. They all looked to the sounds.
"<Uh oh,>" Scout said.
Out from the forest came a small army of Timberwolves and their alpha. They all had the same deadly glint in their eyes as they hungrily stared down the dinosaur. The entire family stood up to face the challenge, with Fuso locking eyes with the alpha wolf. Fluttershy suddenly jumped between the groups.
"Wait! Can't we talk this out?!" She said to the timberwolves.
"<Yeah, they leave and never come back, or their sorry little wooden tails get sent into next week.>" Fuso growled to the yellow Pegasus.
She then 'reinterpreted' the wording for the Timberwolves. "Um, excuse me, mister alpha Timberwolf?"
The alpha looked at her, and gestured her to speak.
"Um, if it's not an issue, this the home of these confused creatures. So, would you kindly please leave?" she said as nicely as possible to the wooden creatures.
As if confirming that he didn't like what he was hearing, he growled at her, snapping toward her legs. She cowered behind Mogami and the Timberwolves advanced on the dinosaurs. Letting out a battle-roar, Fuso charged at the alpha. Seeing this as a symbol, the rest of the dinosaurs attacked.
With his family fighting the others, Fuso could focus on his enemy. The Timberwolf slashed at him, missing by a hair. Fuso smashed the timberwolf's face with his tail, sending him recoiling. Once he recovered, the alpha jumped onto Fuso's back. Trying to get him off of his back, he smashed into several trees, but to no avail.
"<Someone get this thing off of me!>" Fuso yelled out.
"<I got it, I got it, I got it!>" Scout said. Using his mother’s help, he climbed her back and jumped onto Fuso's, ramming the alpha off of his back. Scout shook his head and went back to fighting. He found a large tree limb and decided to hit things with it. "<Alright! I like this!>" he said before bashing the head of a Timberwolf in.
Fuso snarled at his enemy, he snarled back. The alpha called for reinforcements and three other Timberwolves charged Fuso but failed, one getting a tail to the face, another crushed by his foot, and the third, while successful at first, was bitten off, crushed by Fuso's jaws, and hurled at the alpha. Fuso grabbed the disoriented alpha’s neck, and began to crush it. He heard a satisfying "CRACK!" and dropped the alpha. He let out a victory roar, but the Timberwolves wouldn't stop fighting. He joined his family and proceeded to destroy the last of the timberwolves.
But what they didn't see was one wolf crawl behind them, prepared to kill the pony he found cowering there. He growled at Fluttershy, and prepared to pounce.
"No! No! Stop! Please, no! HELP ME!!!!!" Fluttershy cried out, catching the attention of Mogami, who turned around and crushed the neck of the Timberwolf she had in her mouth.
"<Fluttershy?! Hang on, I'm coming!>" Mogami yelled out, she ran to the cave.
The Timberwolf was about to pounce, but was stopped by a mouth full of teeth hitting him centre mass. Mogami grabbed onto his head, and began to squeeze. She crushed the wolf's head into a million splinters.
Mogami walked over to Fluttershy. "<Are you alright?>"
"<Yes, I'm alright now, but I would have been dead if not for you, thank you,>" she said, grateful as she could be.
"<Awww, it was nothing.>"
The rest of the Timberwolves ran off into the forest, knowing they were beat. Fuso roared at the few retreating Timberwolves, telling them never to return. They all walked to their cave, but not before they were stopped by a whistling sound. They looked up, and saw a cyan blur diving straight towards Mogami. Fuso shoved his daughter out of the way, and barely dodged the blur himself. The family looked at the dust cloud, waiting for it to settle. When it did, they saw what looked like Fluttershy, but had a rainbow tail and head-fur. And her body fur was cyan.
"Alright, nopony move, and nopony gets hurt! Understand that?!" Ranbow Dash said to the creatures.
"<And who might you be, and why are you here?!>" Fuso said in response to the aggressive pony.
"Don't you dare snarl at me, mister!" Rainbow said, getting up in Fuso's face.
He turned his head to his family, "<I don't think this one can understand us.>"
Mogami started moving towards Fluttershy to try to get her from whoever this was.
"Hey! No!" Rainbow Dash was about to kick Mogami when she was stopped by Fuso's tail sending her flying into the trees.
"<Hey! No! Bad dinosaur!>" Fluttershy said to Fuso.
"<Well, excuse me! I was only saving my daugh->" He was cut short as the breath was knocked out of him.
He recoiled and fell over upon impact with a tree. He looked over to figure out what happened. Rainbow Dash had kicked him in the side.
"Rainbow Dash! No!" Fluttershy yelled at her friend.
"They were trying to kill yo-" She was then knocked out of the air and trapped by Fuso's toes.
"Rainbow!" The rest of their friends appeared, having heard the scuffle. Scout and Hiro blocked them from helping Rainbow Dash up.
She struggled to catch her breath while trying to get out from under his foot, to no avail. "Take your.. stinking foot...off of me, you stupid dino..saur!"
Fuso saw the shock of him just speaking English sink into their eyes, before Rainbow Dash blacked out from the fight and ensuing shock.
