Rising Sun

Seven: The casual lazy day... erm... Sorta

I slowly got to my paws as I yawned.

"Fair morning to thou!"

"GAAAH!" I shouted as the face of a certain blue alicorn met my nose.

"Luna! Language?"

Oh great! SHE'S here too!

"Nooo.." Landon muttered as he rolled over in his sleep.

"Alright, What's the deal." I state.

I slowly cast my eyes to the book I was given yesterday.

"Nope!" I shouted, pouncing on it.

I grasped it with my arms and held it tight. I felt the tingling sensation of magic as I was lifted off the ground.

"NOOOOO!" I shouted.

"Give. It. TO. US!" Luna shouted, pulling with her magic.

"But it's mine! I haven't finished reading it!"

"Amaterasu! Give!" Celestia shouted.

"I'm not an ordinary wolf you know Celly!"

"AMATERASU!"

... Meep...

It was at that time that our friendly neighborhood manticore that I totally remembered about and who made I deal with ran through my cave.

"FUCK OFF!" I shouted at him.

I pulled away from Luna's magic and jumped to the ground.

"FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU! AND FUCK YOU!" I shouted, looking in each of their directions.

The three slowed down as I panted.

"Can't I have ONE day to relax?! I mean! Seriously! Come on!"

"... I'll give you a week, THEN you'll be next!" Our favorite manticore shouted before flying off.

"Love ya too!" I sarcastically shouted.

I turned back to the Princesses.

"Would you take a gift from friend away from another?" I reluctantly asked.

"Bu-"

"Page 45, Luna secretly puts on a pop record every night after Celestia goes to sleep and starts to sing "Disco Mare"... Wait. I just got a feeling of Deja vu..."

I looked back up at Luna, who had a bright red blush emblazoned on her cheeks.

"Uh... Do we need to have a talk?" Celestia asked.

"... T-that's not true!"

"You HATE pop!"

"Now. LEAVE." I pointed a paw at the edge of the cave and gave then a deadpanned stare.

With a blast of light the two left, Leaving the cave in silence.

"Thank.... Erm... Cadence..." I sighed, slumping down.

"Hm? Did I miss something?" Landon spoke up.

"Yes. A lot." I sighed again.

"Meh."

A silence flew into the room.

"Wanna go on an adventure?"

I got up and looked at him.

"Why not."

(Landon's POV)

"NAOOOMIIII" I called as I roamed the empty halls of the castle.

I turned down the long hallway to see a light at the end. I slowly stepped to look through the edge of the doorway.

"THOU SHANT BEST ME!" A loud voice shouted.

"Bring it on! I've still got enough time on my side!"

Silence echoed through the room before I heard a scream.

"NO! THAT WAS MY SECRET WEAPON!"

"HAHAHHAHAAA!!! THOU CANNOT BEST THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT!"

"Naomi!? Are you-" I asked, stepping through the doorway.

Inside was the spectral image of Nightmare Moon and Naomi. They were sitting at a table playing something that looked reminiscent to Hearthstone.

"I-I can explain." Naomi spoke.

A hour earlier...

"Are we there yeeeeet!" I moaned, dragging my paws a little.

"No." Naomi spoke irritably.

I waited a bit before whining.

"Stop! We're here!" She shouted.

I gave her a cheeky grin before realizing where we are.

"No." I deadpanned at the sight of the giant castle.

"Come on... Stop being such a baby!"

"No."

"How about I give you anything you want if you go in for twenty minutes."

I waited and thought it through.

"Fine. If a pony Slenderman jumps me I'm blaming you from beyond the grave." I sighed.

"Deal." she said, gleefully.

"This isn't so bad." Naomi stated, bumping me a little.

"Mh." I mutter, walking a little slower.

I stopped in front of a pony shaped suit of armor.

"Oh god... I'm getting bad memories of Amnesia...." I muttered, poking the suit of armor.

"Landon! Hurry up!"

I span around to find that Naomi had left me. Shit. I slowly crept away for the armor as I continued down the hall. There was no light but it wasn't too bad.

"Naomi?" I whispered in the dark.

For about thirty minutes I wandered in the darkness. Soon a strange purple light lit the torches.

"... Uhhh..." I muttered.

"Come here..."

... NOPE!

With that thought, I swiftly span around and walked as calm as possible away from the voice.

...

By that I mean I ran away screaming.

"GAAAAAAAAHHHH! CREEPYVOICEGOAWAY!"

About ten minutes later I stopped to catch my breath.

"... And this last move will make me the victor!"

"Naomi?" I whispered, looking in the direction the voice came from.

Current time

"Uhhhh..." Naomi muttered.

I just sigh.

"Lets go home..." I sigh.

Naomi sighed and walked behind me.

"Oh yeah, It's been around an hour..." I muttered.

"... Ok... whaddya want..." She muttered in return.

"Chocolate." I stated.

"Chocolate." Naomi deadpanned.

"Yup."

"Isn't that supposed to be poison to wolves and dogs?"

"We're magical telepathic wolves. I think we'll be safe." I deadpan.

"Whatever."

We continue to the end in silence.

(Naomi's POV)

By the time we get back to the cave we're both tired.

"Niiiiight~" Landon muttered, falling down.

"Meh." I mutter, falling on the ground as well.

Before long, I'm knocked out cold by fatigue.

"NAOOOMIIII!!! WE HAVE A PROBLEM!"

My eyes flutter open at the scream of Landon. What I see... makes me want to freak out.

Evil black vines... Evil black vines everywhere...

"Meep."
