ADAGIO

Decrescendo

The light was blinding, painful and colorful. The elements released upon the Dazzling's was incredibly powerful. There was no escape and no way of turning back. Fates sealed and amulets shattered. The dazzling's were left on their knees. Adagio slowly brought a shaky hand to her forehead. She could feel all that gathered negative energy slipping away. Adagio slowly opened her eyes, the lights casted on the stage were reflecting in her vibrant raspberry eyes. She looked around as she and her companions Aria and Sonata shakily got to their feet. She placed a hand on her chest as she and the other sirens tried singing, only to let out a wrecked and terrible note of failure. Their voices of beauty gone and shattered like the amulets before them. Adagios eyes filled with tears as the whole school began to place hate on her shoulders. They shouted and hollered hateful words. They couldn't take this change, the sirens could have had it all. Instead the were left in the ashes of shame. They turned and ran off the stage. They didn't want to hear this anymore. Adagio felt as something smacked her in the back of the head. The audience was throwing things at them. One moment adored, another nothing but an American idol wannabe.

"Adagio, we sounded terrible~!" Sonata said as she tried to wipe the tears that were rushing down her face. They blinded her to the point f tripping. Sonata fell scrapping her knees on the pavement. "H-how could this have happened?" Sonata was choked by tears.

"We followed my foolish plan..."Adagio felt as a sharp pain shoot up from the ground and into her chest. She immediately brought a hand to her chest in pain. A warm sensation began to cover her hand. It started to run down her arm. Adagio's raspberry eyes shifted to look at the problem. she held her hand out in front of her to see the bright red of blood coating her palm and fingers. Her irises shrank as she saw this mortal sight. Adagio almost immediately collapsed to her knees as her fellow sirens began to experience the same problem. Blood was coming from their chests where the amulets once resided. Adagio coughed as blood began to seep up and out of her mouth. The elements of Harmony are not made to kill or bring harm, Though in this case the contributed to what they are normally incapable of. The sudden disappearance of the Amulets which are attached to the sirens chests when they are in full form was causing them to die. Almost as if their hearts were torn from their chests.

"Adagio~ I w-want t-taco" Sonata whimpered as she began to really feel the pain. Adagio's sight began to fade as she looked to her right to see Aria vomiting blood. She collapsed to the ground now unconscious. All three sirens now lay motionless on the ground. Around two and a half hours later Adagios eyes shot open to see the bright moon right up in the sky above her. She slowly looked to her right and was met with the pale and lifeless face of Sonata. Adagio shrieked as she jolted up only to trip over Aria who also lay lifeless on the ground. Both sonata and aria had dead and cloudy eyes. Adagio could feel no life coming from them. Even without her magic she was still bound to them by a bound that packs of sirens shared. She felt no life no feelings no magic. Her friends were gone. Adagio felt tears begin to well in her eyes. She couldn't shake away the crying sensation that now consumed her. She had always played it tough with her allies only to never show the love she felt for them deep down. Now they were gone and there was no way of showing them. Adagio shakily got back up onto her feet. She turned and began to wobble her way out of the alleyway. She couldn't stare there not with the thought that her time would soon be coming.

Not far down the road walked a troubled young boy named Ron. He unlike everyone else at Canterlot high did not go to the battle of the bands. In fact he wasn't in school for the past year. He found no use for what society dubbed as education. Allot of that nonsense he felt he would never use. Though little did he know he was on a collision course with something that would change his life forever. Down this long road there was a wobbling and stumbling Adagio Dazzle. Ron was in a collision of absolute fate, nothing was going to be able to stop it. He was almost to his friends house when Adagio intercepted him. She ran right into him. She was obviously hurt from first glance.

"Holy shit lady what the hell happened to you!?" Ron asked as he lightly shoved her back not wanting to have her blood on him. He noticed the large 3 inch wide hole in her chest. "Wait did someone shoot you!?" He then quickly rushed over to help her.

"Y-you have t-to help m-me~!" Adagio said as blood was now only slowly leaking from her mouth. Her pupils were so dilated that she appeared to have some brain damage. Ron initially had no idea how to react. This lady had randomly came at him.

"We need to get you to a hos..." Ron's words were cut off when adagio's eyes rolled back and she began to fall to the ground. Ron quickly caught her to prevent her from hurting herself. Ron held her in his arms as she was completely limp. He looked around to see if anyone was nearby. He didn't know why but the sudden urge to bring her to his place rather than the hospital swept over him. She seemed to be alive still, after all for some reason despite the hole in her chest Ron could hear the loudest thump of a heartbeat coming from her. The sound was loud like the sound of a heartbeat you would hear from a really big animal. Ron should have brought her to the hospital that night rather than bring her home. Maybe he saw something in her he had never seen before. Maybe he was scared her death would be put on him. After all his family wasn't exactly smiled upon. His mother dead and his father an addict. He didn't exactly look like mister goody two shoes. Never the less he found himself bringing her to his home. If his father found her he would kick her out despite her condition. So Ron was taking quite the risk. When he eventually got her to his place he laid her in his bed. Hoping maybe she would be done bleeding. Ron looked at her as she remained motionless. Why was she dressed the way she was. What kind of event was she at, Nobody wears clothes like that on a regular basis. Ron eventually left her alone in his room as he made his way to the couch in the living room. For a small apartment it had a decently good sized variety of rooms. Ron slowly laid back on the couch. his entire body had a slight shake to it. He was scared. Eventually somehow he closed his eyes and drifted into a sleep.

Ron awoke that morning to the sound of rustling in the kitchen. His father was never in the kitchen, plus it was only seven in the morning. His father wouldn't be home for another three hours. Ron listened carefully but when he heard the sound of something smashing on the ground, he shot out of his chair and ran for the source of the noise. He turned the corner and ran into the kitchen as he clumsily slipped on the floor and slid the rest of the way into the kitchen. His eyes closed in pain as he now laid there. The sound of footstep came his way. Ron slowly opened his see the vibrant raspberry eyes staring back at him. Adagio was walking? Ron's eyes widen as he saw the hole in her chest was gone. How the hell does a three inch hole just disappear. Ron clumsily got to his feet. His legs slipping on the floor several time before he stood.

"Morning." Adagio quickly said. Ron stumbled back as she spoke. He was freaked out. This lady should be dead.

"Back up lady, you....you zombie." Ron said as he quickly reached for a weapon to defend himself closing his eyes as he whipped it out and pointed whatever her had grabbed at the assailant. Adagio slowly walked to him pulling whatever he had out of his hand. Ron slowly opened his eyes to see Adagio holding a banana while keeping another one of her hands on her hip.

"Your going to kill me with a banana?" Adagio raised a brow as her gaze shifted to look at the banana. She began to peel it as she took a slow bite out of it. She then turned and walked into another room not uttering anther word. Ron stood there as he was rather dumbfounded by this dubious begging to his day. What the hell just happened. This women was waltzing around like she owned the place. She never gave any form of a thanks to Ron. Then again did she even have a recollection of last night. Adagio eventually made it to the living room and sat on the couch Ron had slept on that night before. She indeed had a complete recollection of the events that took place last night. Se was just trying her best to stay strong and show no emotion towards it. She wasn't going to break down and let this stranger feel pity for her. She simply finished the banana that she had been threatened with and then tossed the peeling in the wastebasket by the right arm of the couch. Adagio then looked at Ron who was now on the phone, he appeared to be talking on it. That's when she swore she heard him say something about her. Though he didn't know her name the women he was describing sounded an awful lot like herself.

"Coda you have to come quickly man, This women is in my house and she is acting like she owns the damn place." Ron said to his friend that he was talking to.

"Again there is a women in your house and you haven't tapped her yet." Coda said on the other line.

"Coda again that is beside the point here. She should be..." Ron took notice that Adagio was coming towards the kitchen. "Dude just quickly come ok....bye.." Ron quickly brought his shitty flip phone to a close as Adagio entered the kitchen all the way. He hoped to god that Tom would quit being a smart ass and get his ass to his place soon. If not who knows what was going to happen.
