A Trip to the Griffins

In the highlands of equestria Lex soon came and landed in a naturally formed canyon. As he walked to a rock he brought his arm up with the screen he typed in a few words. A hologram gave way to show a metal object that soon opened up. As Lex walked in he had the door close behind him. "Lights." He said.

The room lit up revealing his old HQ dusty with webs but still mostly intact after a thousand years. "Well first order of business clean this place up." Lex computer on his suit was up and after a few commands the cleaning bots were active. They moved around and started to clean wile the suit opened up allowing Lex to step out.

(A hour later Lex POV)

Oh yes its so good to be back its a good thing too. My robotic helper came to me to give me the tea I ordered. Typing away at my computer I made from what I could gather it was time I look over how things had been over these thousand years across the globe. My thirteen laser satellites were still in orbit my other satellites still fed me information of how the world had changed.

My computer flashed the theoretical amount my small saves have become over a thousand years. I raised an eyebrow at this. "Well now thats something." I leaned back in my chair, I could only guess Celestia would keep tabs on my account. If I had keep it in Equestria that is. Its a good thing I planned for just this scenario. Keeping it in the Griffin empire would keep me from having to deal with her when I don't want to.

(third person POV)

The Griffin capital city was like most Griffin cities build into the mountains and the clouds that they moved into place. The whole place seemed very fortified and rightfully so. The Griffins were a race that had histories of wars with the most major being the unification conflict.

A griffin guard stopped his portal as he picked up something coming in the distance. “What is that sound the alarms.” The Griffin guard got into defense as the strange thing came landing just right on the clouds.

The Griffins had never seen anything like it. However the head with appeared to be actually alive said something. “My I see your High King?” The strange thing said. The guards had the weapons out.

“Not a chance.” One of the armed guards said.

Lex shrugged at this. “Very well.” Lex simply answered. The guard tried to rush him only for them to run into a barrier. The Griffin guards keep hitting the barrier over and over again.

Lex stood there with his suits arms crossed. After about ten minutes of pointless attacks the Griffins stopped just to stare. Lex gave a laugh at them. “It seems you are done.” He walked as the Griffin guards attempted another attack. Lex grabbed the Griffins attacking from the right and left and smashed them together before tossing them at their follow guards.

“What are you?” One of the guards asked, he had his weapon at the ready as the guards stood back up and surrounded him. “Whatever you are-” however he didn’t get to finish as a voice rang out.

“That’s enough.” The guards turned behind to see a Griffin with a scared eye golden feathers and royal garbs a sword was seen on his waist and the winged crown with four gems each one a different clor.. He had a glare at the guards which caused them the bow for a moment.

“High King Hermes, this thing was…” The guard started to explain when there High King walked up.

“Luthor? So you're freed? I hope you learned why you shouldn’t play with dark magic.” High King Hermes said, surprising the guard Griffins.

“My Lord you know this thing?” One of the guards asked. Hermes gave him a glare.

“Oh course I do this,” He said mentioning Lex. “Is Lex Luther, he helped me untie the tribes into the force we are today.” The guards gave a bow to Lex a sign of their apology. High King Hermes walked up to Lex. “Why are you here anyway?”

“Well I came for my account, it's been a thousand years and as you must know Celestia would probably been looking for me.” Lex answered. The Griffin monarchy gave a laugh. Celestia and Lex were not very good at seeing eye to eye. In fact if Hermes once made a bet to see how long before the two destroyed each other. He lost a fortune, and it was to Lex himself.

‘Never going to do that again.’ Hermes remained himself. “Yes I believe that account is still in your name after all, I believe you maybe surprised by how much its worth in this day and age.”

Lex had a smirk. “I believe I may know.”

Hermes raised his feathered eyebrow but shock his head. Lex was a genius so it stood to reason he would figure out how much it was most likely worth. "Very well then come with me." The Griffin High King said. As the two walked away from the guard Lex turned to back to them for a moment.

"They seemed a bit underwhelming." Lex commented on how poorly the guards handled him.

"They are not combat ready the more well trained and experienced guards are out near the boards." Hermes answered the human.

"We also have our fleets out to deal with pirates seems that they are raiding our trade fleets." The Griffins were two things at there core, proud warriors and traders. Even before Hermes united the warring tribes they were known to explore thee world for trade and things of value. After the unification the Griffins started creating huge trade fleets by the time Lex was turned too stone.

A hour later Hermes had the account paper work for Lex in his talons. "I believe this is in order had for the GriffinStone vaults and they should take care of the rest." Lex looked over the paper work to make sure everything was in order.

"Thank you Hermes for your help." Lex said with a smile.

Celestia looked over her guards reports. A few of them said to have spotted a flying metal thing head for the Griffin empire. She could only guess why Lex was going there. 'Calm down Celestia, your being paranoid.' Over the last thousand years she developed a sense of paranoia. It sometimes has helped her but she was hopping to get over it.

'Perhaps I should talk to the Griffin ambassador? No she probably doesn't know. Hermes himself would be coming over in a week perhaps he knows?' Celestia debated.
