Once the light had died down, I took a good look at my surroundings. I was in a castle, but it was completely in ruins. The windows were broken, the roof had holes in it, and the floor was litter with chunks of wall and roof. It didn't take long to figure out where I teleported to.
"I'm in the old, abandoned castle in the Everfree Forest", I thought, " At least I ended up somewhere were nopony will find me". I chuckle a bit when I used the term "nopony".
"Now then", I said out loud, "Let's take a look at what my new face looks like".
Using my new powers, I snapped my fingers and a full size mirror appeared out of nowhere. I was a bit surprised I got it right the first time. I half expected for something random to appear. I guess using chaos magic just comes natural to me.
I looked in the mirror and got a good look at my new face. A grey horse head, a deer antler, a goat horn, two mismatched eyes of gold with red pupils, an oversized fang, and a goatee. "I look so amazing right now", I said to myself, "I love the goatee. Goatees are cool".
"Now then", I said, "What shall I do first with my newfound powers?"
I began to think for a while. I could visit other realms, mess with reality, or cause some mischief. I could do anything I want to do and not have to listen to anyone. Due to all my thinking, I started to pace back and forth. There was so much I could that I didn't even know where to start. After a few more minutes of thinking, I finally reached a decision.
"I've got it", I said to myself, "I travel across Equestria. They never showed all of it in the cartoon and I've always wanted to see it for myself. I could see all the different sights, meet new people, or ponies in this case, and have tons of adventures. It's perfect".
"However, I still have Celestia to worry about", I thought, "That fake statute would fool her for long, and when she finds out I've escaped, she will turned Equestria upside down until she finds me". I did some more thinking on how to solve the problem until an idea popped into my head.
"That's it", I said,"I travel back in time to before I break and tour Equestria then. Therefore, I won't have to worry about Celestia because Discord will still be trapped in stone. It's foolproof. Still, I'll have to disguise myself, but I'm okay with that.
"Now then, how far back do I want to go?", I thought, "Probably best if go to a year and a half before the return of Nightmare Moon. Don't want to alter history to much, now do I?"
So, after reach my decision, I closed my eyes and started to concentrate, gathering up my powers. I could feel my strength growing and growing. Once I had gathered enough power, I snapped my talons and, just like that, a portal appeared out of nowhere. I opened my eyes, looking at what I made.
"So, this portal I created will either send be back a year and a half before the return of Nightmare Moon or to any other point in time", I thought, "Well, in the words of the 11th Doctor..."
"Geronimo!", I yelled as I dived straight in into the portal, which closed behind me.
