On the train, Rainbow turned her head to see (Modern) Amy and (BOOM!) Sonic. One looked happy and the other looked freaked.

"I've always wanted to race a gryphon!" Sonic said, looking out his window.

Amy was silent, occasionally repeating, "...Why is my brain a pager?"

Rainbow decided to ask, "OK, why are you two here?"

"The map sent us here." Sonic said, sipping some soda.

"No, it sent me and Pinkie."

"Your butts glow and vibrate, our heads vibrate- That sounded better in my head."





"Bet I can find the treasure first!" Sonic said, handing a bag of bits to his assistant. He sky dived below some feet, stopping when the gryphon took hold of his rope. Sonic looked up, "That'll be for every order I give you, here!" Then helper nodded, lowering Sonic as Rainbow attempted to lower herself. Sadly, her wings kept her from falling as low and fast as Sonic.

Rainbow trotted off, returning with a flight suit added to her gear. She fell double the distance, but the wind still messed with her. Sonic got tired of waiting and paid his buddy to wait for him as he left to find the girls.





"Oh my gawd! How come every adventure food sucks?!" Amy asked. There was Eggman's cooking, Gamma's cooking, Blaze's cooking, Big's cooking, Sugar Belle's cooking (Jet brought the muffins), and now Gilda's cooking. "Dr. Eggman's hedgehog food tastes better than this!"

Pinkie rolled her eyes, "Its great, but lacking one thing."

Amy gasped, "One thing? Its missing everything! Its not food, its a rock."

"That grey pony in the frock last week seemed to like 'em," Gilda said, glaring at Amy.

"Maud was here?!" Pinkie asked with some excitement.

Sonic ran by, saw the situation, and swept me off my feet as he ran toward the sunset. At Prance, we had dinner and-

Sonic kept waving his hand in front of Amy's face before giving up, turning his attention to the lion-bird-thing and Pinkie, "OK...? So, what's up?"

Gilda responded, "My life is being wasted."
Pinkie responded, "Her cooking needs better taste. That's why we're here! Cook with baking powder = friendship!"

"I'm gonna go jump in a canyon." Sonic said, running back to Rainbow Dash.

"Wow, smartest thing said today," Gilda commented with a sigh.





Gilda was so close to recovering the idol, but stopped to save her friends. Meanwhile, Sonic caught the fallen idol, running up the walls of the canyon with Amy on his back. She still seemed out of it, so Sonic used her stiff legs as a way to pull himself back onto the wall. Caliburn would be out of a job.
