Wednesday’s Dinner

I looked for food 
In the kitchen cabinet, 

Fridge, 
Freezer, 
On the kitchen counter…

Heck I even looked in,
One of the kitchen drawers,
And still came up empty. 

Feeling rather hungry, 
I went downstairs,
And as if a sign from above, 

I found a divine bag,
Of potato chips resting on the couch. 

I dug right in.
