“..............so I had to send Dumbbell, Hoops and Score back to Blackgate again after I had beaten them again and get this.............” Rainbow Dash said talking to her friend Rarity in Rarity’s home. They were friends but also teammates in the Super Friends of Equestrias their superhero alter egos “This time they were working for someone called Grodd and Grodd turned out to be this evil scientist from some secret society of talking apes who was using his technology to try and conquer Equestria.” Dash laughed at the ridiculousness of the adventure as he continued “I think the criminal they were working for last week was this unicorn using this fancy wand to control the weather; I think it was the Weather Wizard he was calling himself. Pretty stupid trying to take control of the weather as any Pegasus can do it better than him. The week before they were working for this stupidly dressed idiot, who was calling himself the Trickster, I swear that he acted just like Pinkie Pie.”
“I would say you would have a weird rogues gallery but I have fought weirder............” Rarity laughed as Rarity’s servant and good family friend Alfalfa came into the room. “I am sorry to interupt Ms Rarity but in the lair there has been a call from the warden at Arkham about a break in.” Alfalfa told them and Rarity suddenly looked serious and told Alfalfa to get one of her suits ready.
Looking at the excited look on Dash’s face Rarity sighed and asked “do you want to come and help in this investigation?” Rarity asked and Dash nodded enthusiastically and very quickly using her super speed. Rarity hoped that she would not regret bringing her in this adventure.

Rarity and Dash were now being escorted through Arkham Asylum’s corridors while now dressed as their alter egos Mare Do Well and the Dash. Rarity spotted in their cells several of her rogues gallery including: the minotaur Bane, the mutant earth pony Killer Croc and behind her mask Rarity shed a tear at the sight of Two Face who prior to going insane and being disfigured was No Chance the District Attorney of Ponyville and Rarity’s fiancé. “Dash, Mare Do Well nice to see you here.” Arkham’s warden Orderly Law said outside a special cell which had the door broken off and the inside of the special cell looked like it had been a freezer.
“Let me guess, this was Miss Freeze’s cell?” Rarity asked and Orderly nodded. “A villain broke in, stole her stuff from where we keep the inmates’ gadgets and broke her out. We had to rescue several guards who were frozen in ice blocks here is a picture we got from CCTV.” Orderly as a unicorn guard showed them the picture as Dash gasped when she recognised who the pony was. The pony was a unicorn stallion, white fur and with a blond tail, was wearing dark blue goggles, a dark blue and white winter jacket with the hood up though it had a hole for his horn and you see strands of his blond mane and he had an electronic backpack on connected to two electronic guns on his shoulders.
“I know this unicorn, he is my arch enemy Coldwave or as he calls himself Captain Cold!” Dash said snarling “I have faced him several times before but he also manages to get away with the bits he manages to steal, he always freezes me in ice and by the time i manage to escape he has already run off and he must plan on forming his own team of ice themed bad guys!”Dash snarled running in place.
“Well then we will have to catch them before they cause too much trouble.” Rarity said with a serious expression as she and Dash left. “I wonder if Mare Do Well will ever stop by just to say hi.” Pondered Orderly as he went back to filling out some paperwork.

Out in Ponyville the residents were running in terror from Coldwave and Victoria Freeze who was wearing her armor designed to help her keep cold in warm temperatures. “Look Coldwave dear, I appreciate the concern but I am really fine with how I am now.” Freeze told Coldwave talking with motherly affection to the smaller unicorn. Coldwave had just been through telling her that he wanted them to go on a crime spree together so they can use the bits to help fund research to try and cure her.
“It is not right what those two did to you and you almost died, I want to help............” Coldwave responded but stopped as the two ice themed villains smirked at the sight of Rarity and Dash glaring at them. “Nice to see you again Mare Do Well and it is also nice to meet your friend the Dash, Dash I believe you have met my darling colt Coldwave?” Freeze asked as she nuzzled Coldwave’s cheek affectionately.
“Wait, your Freeze’s son?” Dash asked and Coldwave snorted, “yes she is my mother Dash, I created my equipment from notes of her research of Windigoes, the reason I turned to crime was so I could fund research to try and cure her.” Coldwave said as he started firing ice beams from his two guns at the two members of the Super Friends of Equestria which they dodged and Victoria tried blasting them with ice beams from her horn.
“That sounds nice but we still have to stop you two and bring you both to prison.” Rarity said as she started firing her electrified bolas at the two which they were managing to dodge. “Just give up Dash as you know I am merciful, I could have killed you at any time I had you frozen up but I chose to let you live while I got away. Let us go and I will still be as merciful the next time we meet...........” Coldwave said to Dash in a taunting tone of voice but Rarity threw one of her electrified bolas at Coldwave’s backpack while he was firing up his guns causing it to explode on him and freezing him in one of his blocks of ice.
“Finally got you now, this is payback and you are definitely going to jail this time.” Dash taunted in a proud tone of voice and turned to Freeze who was stunned at the sight of her son frozen in ice and Dash took the distraction to punch Freeze using super speed and a flying kick from Rarity knocked her out. Soon the Ponyville police officers took Freeze back to Arkham and they got Coldwave out of the ice block so they can arrest him, “Looks like we beat our ice villains together.” Dash said raising her fist for a hoof bump but Rarity just turned and ran to the shadows keeping to her serious and no nonsense Mare Do Well demeanour.
“I bet if I had an adventure with Wonder Mare, she would give me a hoof bump afterwards...........” Dash said to herself deciding to run at super speed to Manehattan to see if they needed crime fighting done at the moment.

Later in Blackgate, Coldwave glared at everything he saw he was walking about wearing an orange prisoner’s uniform. “Just you wait Dash, you think you are so clever having Mare Do Well help you. Just you wait, I will gather a team of your enemies together so we can beat you. You could not beat me before without help and you certainly will not beat me once I escape and get the team together.” Coldwave snarled to himself as he ran into an older and familiar looking prisoner.
“Well look who finally decided to come and visit.” said the prisoner known as Icicle who was sitting with his arms folded and glaring at the younger unicorn. “Hello dad........” Coldwave responded with great venom in his voice “are you going to try and kill me like you and Frost tried to do with mum?” watching the father and son get into their argument were prisoners Billy Dumbbell, Hoops and Score.
