Midnight slowly opened his eyes and wiped them stretching.  He got onto his hooves and started to walk but stumbled, however he shrugged it off as just being really tired (a very familiar emotion for him…). He get back onto is hooves and, slower this time, made his way to the kitchen to grab some cereal He yawned at he reached into the cupboard and dragged out the cereal box with his hooves, too lazy to hold it properly. He poured himself a bowl and ate it before heading for a shower. After he got out he grabbed a towel and began drying his hair, looking into the mirror as he noticed something. Something didn’t look right, but the mirror was all steamed up so it was all blurry. Midnight reached up a hood to wipe the mirror clean and saw not a stallion staring back, but some sort of…dragon creature. 

“Ah!” Midnight jumped back in surprise and noticed that he was not standing on hooves at all, but rather claws. He looked on his back and noticed a set of bat-like wings as well as a lizard tail with a tuft of hair on the end, patterned like his mane. He looked back to the mirror and got a proper look at himself. He ran a claw through his mane still in shock.

“Wha-huh? How did this happen…when did this happen…”

“WHAT THE F**K!?!?!” Midnight ran towards the sound to see another blue dragon-pony-creature. This one also had blue scales and a spiky gold mane. Midnight noticed a familiar cutie mark on is flank…

“L-Lightning?”

The dragon looked up. “Midnight? What’s going on?”

“I don’t know I just woke up like this! Maybe Fluttershy will know?” Midnight shrugged.

“Fluttershy,” Lightning turned towards where Fluttershy had been sleeping. “What’s going on-Fluttershy, are you alright?” 

Another dragon-pony, this one looking like Fluttershy, was sitting on the couch with her head down low and claws hiding her head, eyes wide and full of fear.

It was then that another dragon-pony came down the stairs. “Ugh…guys what’s the…ruckus…” Twilight trailed off, eyes wide in shock. She then looked down at herself and basically, freaked out.

“What what what, nonono, how is this happening, this can’t be happening, it isn’t possible for this to be happening how the, what the, what - “ Twilight stopped pacing frantically to catch her breath as 2 dragon-pegasi ran downstairs. 

“Twilight, what happened here?” the blue one, clearly Rainbow Dash based on her mane, questioned.

“I have no idea!”

“Great. Neither do I,” Burning Storm added. “Now what?”

“I hate to see this but…I have no idea!”
