I ate the sandwiches, they were delicious. I decided to go and walk around town, see what I would like to do. I walked around feeling the soft gentle breeze, smelling the nice flowers, it was just nice. Silver wing flew down from the sky and gave me a huge hug.
"Do you have any idea how worried everypony was for you"
"Sorry didn't mean to make all of you worry"
"Well you did, and I don't like that"
She was hugging me tight, it was like she didn't want to let go. I wiggled free from the hug and saw that she was crying. I tried to comfort her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean too"
"It's fine"
She wiped away her tears, and looked at me. She must have noticed the look I had in my eyes.
"Listen Silver, I want to talk to you and the others"
"Okay, they're over in a field"
She led me to the field. I looked and saw Vinyl, Octavia, Lyra, and Bon Bon.
"Hi" I said.
"Hey light-dub" Vinyl said.
"Hello Lightning" Octavia said.
"What's up" Lyra said.
"How was the hospital" Bon Bon asked.
"listen I have some sad news" I said, all of them looked at me and waited for what I had to say. "I'm leaving ponyville"
"What" Vinyl said.
"This has to be a joke right" Octavia said.
"I'm sorry Octavia, but it's not a joke" I replied.
The mares all looked at one another and than me.
"But you can't go, you've only lived here a couple of weeks" Lyra said.
"I-i got this letter, I got this job that i've always wanted" I told her.
"What is that job exactly" She replied.
"I'm going to be able to make clothes, I am going to be a designer" I said looking at the ground, tears in my eyes. My face felt hot, like it was being burned.
"Why, why would you leave" Silver said, she was holding back tears.
"I want to be a designer, I sent my designs to manehattan so many time that I thought that I would never live my dream, but today I got this letter" I said. All the mares looked at me and then nodded.
"Well if you're going to leave, might as well give you the presents now" Vinyl said. I looked up and saw all of them handing me something.
"This is my cello bow, so that you can remember me by" Octavia handed over the bow and walked out of the way.
"This is my latest album, not in stores yet, so you can have the first ever copy" Vinyl gave me the album, and made way for Lyra.
"This is my lire, I want you to have it" She handed it over and lastly was Bon Bon.
"This is a bag of candy, it's not much but it's something" She handed over the bag, Silver stepped forward.
"This is something that you can't ever return" She closed her eyes, leaned in close to me, and kissed me, her muzzle was so soft and she was so gentle with the kiss, I closed my eyes and returned the kiss. We both pulled away from the kiss.
"That was nice" I said.
"Now don't ever forget me, you got that" she asked, I nodded. we all walked to the train station.
"Vinyl, I am giving you this" I handed vinyl a pair of headphones.
"thanks" she said.
"this is yours tavi" I gave her a neck bow
"I will cherish this" She said.
"This is yours Lyra" I handed her a drawing that I made of hands.
"These are hands, you drew this for me, thank you" She said.
"This is a little bit of candy that I made, it might taste bad" I handed Bon Bon a small piece of candy.
"As long as you made it i'm sure it will be just fine" She said.
I hugged every last one of them. All of us were in tears. I didn't want to leave my friends, but I had too.
"We will meet again, but for now, promise me this" I said,
"what is it" The all asked in unison.
"Promise me, that we will always be friends" I said, they all nodded.
"All aboard for manehattan" The conductor yelled.
"Looks like it's time for me to go" I said as I walked onto the train. I took a seat by the window, and looked out it. I saw all of my friends looking at me. I waved at them.
The train started to move. I was in tears as I saw ponyville begin to shrink on the horizon. I looked at the items they gave me. It felt like they where there with me. I was going to miss them, but I had a felling that all of us would meet again.
"Thank you, all of you" I said aloud to myself. As the train continued to move I was thinking, about how I would meet them again, smiling while I thought about what happened to me in ponyville.
"What's next in my destiny, am I going to meet them again, maybe, but not for a while" I said.
