Chapter 9

7am… The sky just beginning to turn its light blue color from the moon’s descends into the horizon and the sun’s rises above. Light shines through the Castle where our two lovers inhabit. As the light beams through the large windows it begins to brighten the room increasingly as the sun raises more into the sky.

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle now in a relationship that is determined to last until the day of no existence but even then their celestial beings will find a way to be together as their love holds no bounds and shows no chance of fading.

They both lay in bed in each other’s arms both locked into a position that suggests that something went on but there wasn’t no trace of that happening (Yet…). Once again Sunset woke up first to close the blinds and curtains that cover up the room in darkness once more giving her and Twilight some more time to sleep. Maybe Sunset is the Princess of Sleeping but again there is no possibility of that ever happening.

She returned to the embrace of her lover Twilight who was shifting in bed slightly to adjust her comfort in bed. To ensure that she slept well Sunset got up from her spot of the bed and put most of the blanket around Twilight. Using her magic she re-tucked her in and saw a small smile appear on her face. Before exiting the room she gave Twilight a peck on the forehead.

“Rest now my Princess.” Sunset whispered.

She left the room and went off to start her day. She went to the kitchen to get herself some orange juice. Upon reaching for the fridge Spike was at the stove cooking something for everypony.

He looked to her from the corner of his eye. “Had a nice session with Twilight?” He asked flipping a pancake.

“Oh yes because I enjoyed eating Twilight out with the goodness of my heart.” Sunset retorted back.

Spike literally stopped whatever he was doing and began to gag. Sunset whispered in his ear. “Painting a good picture huh” That made Spike run to the sink to throw up.

Sunset patted his back as he continued. “You don’t tell a kid that. What’s wrong with you?”

Sunset gave out a chuckle. “Well some baby dragons are not supposed to learn that kind of stuff and the fact that you know the concept and steps for it is surprising.”

“Twilight learned about that stuff at the age of 9 I had to literally hear it all word for word. So it’s embedded into my head for life.” Spike said returning to his spot and resumed cooking.

“Well that I didn’t know Spike I’m sorry but you asked and I delivered.” Sunset walked to the throne room leaving Spike with the mentally scaring images that filled his head.

Entering the Throne Room Sunset sat on Twilight’s Throne. Somehow it felt more natural when she sat on the Throne. She ignored it though and put her hind-hooves on the left arm-rest and her head on the right arm-rest making a makeshift bed out of the Throne seat entirely. Sunset began to stir away from reality and took a small nap on the Throne.

-2 Hours later-

Twilight woke up to the smell of pancakes. When she sat up she looked to her left and saw that Sunset wasn’t there. ‘Maybe she’s with Spike in the kitchen.’ She thought waling to the place where the source of the smell originates. She didn’t see Sunset in the kitchen so she asked Spike of her whereabouts.

“Hey Spike you’ve seen Sunset anywhere?”

“She went off to the Throne Room.” He said not making eye contact.

She went to the Throne Room and began her search. She kept looking past her own Throne where Sunset was sleeping peacefully on. Eventually she gave up and sat down on her Throne. However upon sitting down she felt a pony on the seat. She looked to her seat and found the pony she was looking her.

“Sunset Shimmer.” Twilight said

Hearing this snapped her awake and made her fall off the Throne. Both confused and in pain Sunset scanned the room quickly ready to attack the pony to disturbed her. Seeing the source of the voice she quickly calmed down.

“Oh it’s just you Twilight.” Sunset said taking a deep breath.

“Sorry but I wanted to sit on my throne but you were using it as a bed.” Twilight said now sitting on her throne.

Sunset gave a heavy sigh and sat on a smaller version of her throne next to her.

“Sunset and Twilight breakfast is ready.” Spike yelled to the two mares.

Twilight smiled, “Come on let’s go eat.” Sunset nodded and went with her to the dining room.

Both Sunset and Twilight ate across each other on the table while Spike sat in the middle between them. Sunset wanted to have some fun so she ate slowly and seductively that caused Twilight’s wings to shoot out.

Spike saw this pushed his plate. “Okay I’m done eating… You both have officially screwed up my mind to where I need therapy thank you both.” He left and slammed the door to his room.

Twilight looked at the door. “Well that was interesting.” She then looked back at Sunset who was slowly reaching for Spike’s untouched food. Look dead at her she dragged it back to her side slowly.

After eating it was time for their daily royal duties which was done within 3 hours of the day. For the extra time they ventured into Ponyville so Sunset can meet the pony versions of their friends. First stop of Pinkie Pie.

Sunset was wearing some royal guard armor and Twilight couldn’t help but laugh.

“Why are you wearing that?”

“It’s Pinkie we’re talking about here. This girl is crazy as a Human and might be more insane as a Pony I don’t want to take any chances.” Sunset said making sure the suit is secure and protecting her from head to hoof.

When they arrived to Sugarcube Corner Twilight was talked by the Pink Pony that they were searching for.

“Hey Twilight, haven’t seen you from a Looooonnnng time! How’s it going? Where did you go to? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Oh wait I forget that you were a busy mare now since you became a princess. Or was it for a different reason.” Pinkie went on and on rambling to where Twilight had to put a stop to it.

“Pinkie! For one I was doing important stuff and royal duties do come first.” Twilight said effectively silencing Pinkie.

Pinkie kept hopping up and down. Sunset had to observe Pinkie’s actions carefully. She looked to Twilight.

“I was wrong she’s far worse than I thought.” Sunset said getting into a defensive position.

Pinkie stopped hoping and looked at Sunset. “Sunset Shimmer!!!”

‘Oh Buck…’ Sunset thought before the wind was taking out of her. All the armor she was wearing was soon removed as Pinkie picked her up and hugged her. Noticing this Sunset was terrified.

“What black magic is this? How did you do that? What are you?” Sunset asked trying to escape from her hugging embrace. Another question popped in her head.

“How did you know that it was me?”

Pinkie began to hop around again. “The author of this wrote it out.”

“What?” Sunset asked confused.

“You know Universal Timegate? The author of this particular story “A Sunlight Story”? On this site called fimfiction.net?”

“What?” Sunset asked again.

Twilight grabbed her hoof and pulled her along. To their next destination. “Don’t mind her she’s just being Pinkie Pie.

Sunset hoped the next pony she meets is not like Pinkie.
