Fillyhood memories

A happy reunion (updated)

Twilight sighed. Another same, boring day. All she does is getting up, take a shower, have breakfast, and then... spend the rest of the day with books? It's not like she doesn't have anything to have fun with. Or, maybe she really didn't have anything.

"Twilight? You're awake already?" Spike said. "It's still 4 am!"

"Yeah, I know," Twilight grumbled, ignoring the fact that Spike could be awake at this point of time, "can you make breakfast, Spike?"

"Sure! Be right back!" Spike replied.

As Spike goes away, she drags herself into the shower.

*******

"You look bored today, Twilight," Spike assumed. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine," she replied without looking away. "Why?"

"It's just that you always lay your head on the table everyday at breakfast," Spike continued. "Like you're sleepy or something."

"Yeah.., it's just that..." Twilight murmured.

"Yeah what?"

"Oh, nothing you should care about," Twilight assured. "Just a little boredom and stuff."

"Oh okay," Spike relaxed.

"But.. Twilight?"

"Yeah?"

"Stop smashing your, um, breakfast."

*******

Twilight finished her food and got off the chair and walked to the library, as she usually did. Pushing away the big, crystal doors, she stepped in the humongous library. Even if every book that exist there has been read 100 times, she is still reading them, for no reason at all.

*Knock*

"Huh?"

*Knock* *Knock*

"I'm coming!"

Rushing out of the library, she gallops to the main entrance, levitating open the huge, golden doors.

"Hold on a minute... Trixie?"

"Uh, hi Twilight Sparkle."

After some silence between them, Trixie broke in, " I wanted to come here to apologize , but then I found someone who was also coming here, so I decided to go with her... or something. "

Twilight wanted to ask her why she hadn't been saying 'Trixie' instead of 'I', but her curiosity of who the other guest is keeping her quiet, and as soon as she did... a white-coated, blue and white mane with a cutie mark of a yellow, crescent moon with a snowflake on it slowly emerges through the door.

"Impossible..."

*******

Silence. No-one said a single word, even Trixie, since she's still figuring out what's going on. The two mares stared blankly at each other, and they were as stiff as stone. Much of her curiosity and boredom (well, waiting is boring, right?) led her to break the silence once more, "Umm... what are you two doing?"

"..."

"..."

"Would you two stop doing that already."

"..."

"..."

"Please."

"..."

"..."

" I beg you."

"..."

"...Uh, okay."

"That's better."

"Yeah, so wait, you two know each other?" Trixie asked, starting the topic.

"Sort of. No, actually, a lot," Twilight replied as she turns to Trixie and back again.

"Actually Trixie? I want to ask you the same thing too." the mare asked.

"Ehm."

"Oh. My bad."

"So... how did you two meet each other anyways?" Twilight asked.

"Do you have memory loss?"

"No... why?"

"I just said I found her also going to the same destination as I did (which is here), so yeah," Trixie shrugged, "I think you have memory loss."

"No I don't!" Twilight argued, "How'd you get so picky anyway?"

"I dunno."

"Oh I know you do."

"Nope. Not at all."

"Hey, hey, hey, why are you two going so off-topic?" the mysterious guest broke in, "You're not going to ask us why we're here yet?"

"Oh right. Ehehehe," Twilight chuckled as she blushes. "Alright, straight to the point."

"Remember whe-"

"Whoa whoa whoa. You haven't even told me your name, uh, guest?" Trixie cut off.

"Um, Trixie, don't call me guest. Ever. And my name-"

"-is Crystal Moon," Twilight grinned, and within that three words a mocking tone is clearly heard.

"Why do I always get cutted off!?"

"I dunno."

"Oh yes, you- argh, whatever. Straight to the point."

"Go on, but first, how did you got here?"

"Huh? Oh right," Crystal realized. "Got here by train right after graduating."

"Wait. Straight after graduating?" Twilight asked with a confused look. "You didn't stay there for at least, a day? You quickly got into a train and rushed here?"

"Um, yeah."

"So..... how about you, Trixie?"

"I sneaked in," she said.

"What?"

"I sneaked in," Trixie repeated, with an ashamed look. "I made a few ponies unconscious on the way here."

"Wait, why?" Twilight asked, concerned.

"I'm afraid that they would hurt me in some way, seeing that I was back," Trixie confessed. "But don't worry, they're fine - I saw them again a while back ago."

"Phew," Twilight sighed, then turned back to Trixie. "But why didn't you hit Crystal?"

Crystal Moon gave Twilight an angry look, giving a clear message that that wasn't supposed to be said.

"I knew that she wasn't there when it happened," Trixie explained. "And since she was going the same way as I am, so we went together."

"Okay..... so, what were you doing here, again?"

"Remember when I said I'd never leave you and I promised I'd come to see you, even if you're far away?" Crystal started.

"Yes I did," Twilight answered, "but what does that have to do with anything?"

"It does. A lot. I was willing to keep that promise, well, until I find you."

"Until you... found me?"

"Yep. Until I found you."

Another moment of silence filled them both. Minutes passed before they started talking again.

"But.... I was hoping you'd tell me before that you were going to Ponyville."

"What?"

"I said I was hoping you'd tell me before that you were going to Ponyville." She shot her a deadly gaze, and her face was as serious as a really, really, mad, Pinkamena.

Twilight gulped, knowing that that was a past mistake she couldn't undo, and something she should have done dearly before. But she didn't. She knew how deadly Crystal could be if she's dead serious, and she didn't want those memories to happen again.

"I'm so, so sorry...." Twilight apologized, as sorry as anypony could be, "I never meant to forget you, really, I-I was to focused about the task that Celestia-"

"It's fine." she cut off.

"What?" Twilight asked, surprised at what she just heard.

"It's fine," she repeated. Her face calmed down to what she was before.

"So...Anything else?"

"Not really."

Twilight gave Crystal such a hug she almost suffocated. Seeing her friend's struggle, she looses her grip. "Sorry, Moony."

Crystal's ears perked up. "Still calling me with that, huh?" she smirked.

"Oh, totally."

"Meh." Crystal said. Finishing the conversation, she rolls her eyes, and looks at Trixie.

"Oh? Oh, um, right."

Trixie clears her throat and begins, "I, um, came back here to apologize for what I did, that's all."

"Don't worry about that, I've forgiven you already, just relax." Twilight assured.

"Thanks."

"Okay. So~ what's next?" Crystal asked. The three unicorn mares stared at each other, each sharing the same question.

"Hey.... mind we do a sleepover?" Crystal requested.

"I don't mind, not at all," Twilight replied, "I think that's a good idea!"

"Well okay then, I'm just gonna go now, while you two enjoy your sleepover," Trixie said as she hurries for the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Crystal halted her, and levitated her away from the door. "You're coming with us, Lulamoon!"

"Wh-wha? Nonononononono, I can't, I don't deserve it, not at all, please don't make me do this, please-"

"Nope, you're going to join our sleepover, whether you like it or not!" Crystal Moon cut her, and drags her even more further from the entrance.

Twilight couldn't help but chuckle as she sees Trixie struggling to break free from Crystal's grasp, as in fact Crystal's attitude didn't change at all - she's still the same as her younger self. Feeling (a bit) sorry for Trixie, she said, "You know, I wouldn't mind you having a sleepover here."

"You don't?" Trixie asked.

"Nope, not at all."

"Well then I guess I'm okay." Trixie sighed, knowing she had lost to Crystal. "But how long is the sleepover for...?"

"We'll see~!" Crystal joyfully replied, dropping Trixie down. "And I'm pretty sure you have some new friends, Twilight, right? What are they called again? Elements of Lemony? Oh wait, of course not, dammit Slash. Is it Elements of-"

"-Harmony," Twilight corrected.

"Oh right, I know that, I mean, I don't know that, I mean, I know that, I just forgot."

Twilight giggled to Crystal's foolishness. "Say, who's... Slash?"

"Oh, just somepony who likes lemons, maybe not, but he likes to say lemony for some reason," Crystal assured. "All I can guarantee is that he likes cheese."

"Oh, okay," Twilight replied, although her answer wasn't really answered fully. "Do you mind if Spike shows you around while I invite the others?"

"Not at all," Crystal answered, "It would be great pleasure, Princess Twilight Sparkle. Sorry I haven't called you like that before."

"What? Oh, no, please don't call me that, it's.... very uncomfortable for me, Moony," Twilight told her.

"Oh okay, Princess Twilight Sparkle," Crystal mocked.

"Now okay, you did thay on purpose, stop calling me that," Twilight said, annoyed.

"Whatever," Crystal said as she rolls her eyes. "Who's Spike, by the way?"

"Oh, just my number one assistant. Spike~!" Twilight called.

Then just after that a green baby dragon appeared.

"Trixie!!??" Spike screamed in horror.

"Uh, who are you again?" Trixie asked. She didn't really remember who Twilight's companion is.

"Gah! Twilight, what is she doing here!?" Spike continued, leaning over to Twilight.

"Long story, but don't worry, she's on our side now," Twilight assured him. Spike breathed a sigh of relief.

"Um, Twilight, who's your pet dragon's name.... again?" Trixie asked.

"It's Spike," Twilight said, then looked over at the baby dragon. "Mind showing these two around the castle while I do something?"

"Uh, not at all, but who's the new guy here?" Spike questioned.

"It's Crystal Moon, my fillyhood friend," Twilight answered. "I'm off to see Pinkie Pie, see you later, Spike."

"Okay!" Spike replied. After Twilight when out the door, he sighed and stretched his hands. Looking over to the two mares, he said," Come on, I'll show you around."
