The Elements

Sun Shine or Wind

She was slowly dragging the cart and arrived at Sugarcube Corner, it was early in the evening and ponies were still chatting and eating sweets inside.
Lucky sighed and slowly stopped near the entrance. Pinkie Pie was alredy waiting there and waved her way.
"Hey Pinkie. We just finished your order, where can I putt the cart?"
"Behind Sugarcube Corner will be fine! Thank you Star!" Pinkie smiles and started walking around the building.
She quickly followed her and finally got the cart to her. "Can you just sign here, that you got the flowers?"
"Since when do we have to sign these?" she grabbed the pen and quickly signed it. Lucky rolled it up and putt it in her saddle bag.
"It's only for big deliveries, they aren't cheap. And it causes less problems if anything happens. Do you need anything else?"
"Nope! Not really! You can come to the party!"
"What party?"
"Why do you think I need these? I heard that the new mare in town loves flowers! So I am throwing a party, but with some extra flowers at my hoofs!"
"So there are just gonna be flowers at the party?"
"Oh, no, no, no! That wouldn't be good! There will be decorations with these, maybe I'll putt a few in a vase on the snack table and so on. It can't be too much or else maybe bees will attack or it will smell too sweet! The party starts at 7! See ya there Lucky!" Pinkie took the cart and started trotting into the street.
Maybe I could go? It won't kill me.....I hope.
She shrugged and headed home.
When she came home, she was suprised to see a certain blue-green unicorn sitting at the dinning table, reading mail.
"Mom! When did you come home!" Lucky hugged her mother.
"A few hours ago, where were you? Your sister alredy came home."
"I had to finish a delivery for Pinkie Pie. But, really. What are you doing at home alredy? I thought you're shoot will last for another month!"
"Well, it would if Photo Finish didn't get sick. Then more ponies got sick and so on. In the end I managed to get a week off work!" the mare chuckled. Her dark blue eyes were full of energy, and looked distant against her her dark green mane with a few yellow stripes and yellow tips. Her coat was in-between green and blue, but it shifted a little towards the blue. Her mane and tail looked groomed and beautiful, like always.
"It's so nice to see you two! My little girls!" she kissed Lucky's forhead.
"Hey, where's Shooting?"
"Helping your dad while he's trying to make sense of the attic."
"The attic? Not again." she groaned.
"Yes the attic! I know he has been trying to clean it for months, but this is getting out of hand." she sighed.
"Can't you talk some sense into him?"
"You think I haven't tried dear? He said he won't give up. That, 'It will bring shame upon me! My lovely wife deserves a clean home! Even if I die from dust! Or my name isn't Caramel Crunch!' and then always goes back up."
Lucky was holding back a laugh, from her mother's horrible impression. "I'll go see, how far they have gotten. You stay here mom! You don't need anymore pressure."
"That is sweet of you dear, but I have to work too you know! I'll be making dinner tonight, make sure those two shower before we eat. Okay?"
"Sure!" she nodded and headed upstairs. She went two stories up and stopped at the door to the attic, she need a hook to get in there, because the latch was attached to the ceiling. She grabbed the stick with the hook and somehow pulled down the door. When the small door was open the ladder fall down.

She slowly climbed up and looked around when she came in. The attic was dark, the smell of dust and old wood was strong. There were boxes, old toys and knick knacks everywhere. She saw a small orange light in the back and very slowly progressed to the back of the attic.

She soon found what looked like a meager attempt of cleaning. A few brooms, cloths, cleaning chemicals and so on. But a few steps away she saw what looked like, a wall of boxes, with some space left just enough for a pony to go trough.
She squinted her eyes, trying to go through the opening without knocking everything down.
On the other side her sister was sitting on a thick folded blanket. She was wearing an old blue boa and a wierd green hat, with a big black feather. She was sitting next to a dark blue pegasus, with an old Royal Guard helmet, his short cinnamon orange mane sticking out. And he had a toy sword in a leather scabbard strapped on to his back.

"Oh my Celestia! You kept that picture! I look awfull in it! I told you to throw it away!" Shooting looked really embarrassed, with her cheeks red.
"We couldn't! It was just too cute! You were so little!" Crunch chuckled.
"Oh c'mon dad! That's not fair!"
"Oh, I wonder what's going on!" Lucky spoke up. The pegasi tensed up and slowly turned around.
"Boo!"

"I heard you got them from the attic?"
"Well, you had to be deaf not to hear them coming down." she rolled her eyes.
"Well....That is true." she chuckled.
"Hey mom....Uhm....Can I go to a party? Pinkie invited me, it starts in a few hours."
"Well, okay. Just be back by 11."

She yawned and looked at the hour. It was half past six, just a few minutes and she will be on her way to the party. She satt on her bed and grabbed the book she was reading. It was a busy day, so she barely got a chance to read.
Chapter 2: Gone With The Wind.
Wind or as many call it Air is a very simple element. It's not hard to control, and usually the bearers are pegasi because of their connection with the sky and weather. Of course a few unicorns or even earth ponies have been known to take the role. Of course your role doesn't depend on your race of pony or even species! I have read my fair share of stories about Yacks or Griffons being a nice team member.
When an Element bearer is chosen, he or she is chosen not because of power, age or race. No, but they usually take a look at your personality. I know it sounds crazy...Well because it is, but it is how it is.
Wind is usually somebody calm and laid-back and also known as lazy, but they can be really hard-working if pushed to it or they just give maximum effort to other things. They are rarely phased by changes, because they can quickly adept. But whatever happens Wind is the second Element you should NEVER ever anger (right after Water), because they do forgive, but not forget. And I think you don't want a tornado headed towards your head. If you do, good for you go poke them with a stick or something.
Even though it's known as an easy Element to control, don't underestimate them. They still have a lot of power and they still need to be strong and trained to fully control it, like all the Elements.
These chapters are going to be short, since very little is known and every piece of evidence, will be presented at the end of the book. Moving on.

Chapter 3: Grounded.
Ground is ususally a very nice person. They are stable and calm and very 'grounded' as well...their Element suggest. They are not dreamers, but more realist. Water or probably Wind is most connected with dreamers.
The one who controls the earth most often are well...Earth ponies. I don't know if it can be more simple.
Their power can include sand if they train enough, because it's a very 'slippery' substance. But there is a problem. They are cold as heck. They rarely really show emotions, and they are either really direct and tactless or beat around the bush and lie. They are a hard bunch to get along with. That is why they are usually the 'lone wolf' of the group, but they can easilly make friends with The Leader or Wind maybe. Again it depends on the pony that is chosen. Earth is known to be stubborn and even cruel at time, so you have to be carefull with them.
She looked up at the clock, it was almost six. She got up and went downstairs, the house was very quiet, almost eerily quiet. She shook her head and left the house.

The party was really easy to find, it was loud, it was big and it was flashy to say the least. Pinkie putt a big effort into this and everypony seemed to be enjoying it. Lucky wasn't one of those ponies, it was just too loud and just too much.
She satt on a bench that was just across the house, the music was still very loud on the outside and it seemed that it won't stop anytime soon.
She tried clearing her head, but it was still beating and the music didn't help.
"Hey, are you okay? You look so pale you could be used as a chalk."
Lucky looked up to see a medallion yellow pegasus, her teal mane had a nice little blue bow.
"I'm fine, thank you. The party was just a little too much for me."
"I get ya. I love it, but the music is driving me crazy! I don't want to go deaf yet." she smiled.
"I haven't seen you around here. New to town?"
The yellow pegasus nodded. "Yep. Moved here from Las Pegasus."
"On your own? You seem kinda young."
"Not on my own, just with somebody I know. I won't be here for long, a few months at best.". Her dark prussian blue eyes seemed tired.
"If you say so. What's your name? I'm Lucky Star."
"It's Sun Shine. But please, call me Wind. I don't really like my name."
"Why not? It's cute and innocent! It's suits you!"
"Yes, because if you call cute and innocent one more time...Well I can't do a thing, so I will just be angry."
"Fine. Wind it is." Lucky chuckled. "So, where did you come from?"
"Las Pegasus. I'm happy I'm out of that city, this town seems just nice. I haven't been mugged yet, so it's alright in my book."
"What would they even steal? You don't seem to have much on you at the moment."
"Hm? Are you trying to figure out, what you will steal from me? Well I've got news for you, I only have my bracelet and my bow. So ha!"
"Yes, because I would mug a pony that will live in the same town as me and I will probably see you every few days. I am such a genuis! Putt your hoofs up! I want your bow!" she picked up a stick with her magic, pointing it at Wind.
"Oh, no! What shall I do?" she knocked the stick down with her wing.
They both started laughing, Lucky's glasses almost fell off.
"That was nice." comment Sun Shine.
"Indeed it was." Lucky nodded. "So, what are you going to do here?"
"I'll probably get a part-time job and see what I can do. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll help with the weather."
"Good luck with that!"
"I don't need your luck! I have my own luck alredy made! It's called karma!"
"So, you won't get any job?"
"Hey!" she gently nudged her with her wing. "Rude! I'm not that bad of a pony. Well...I'm not a saint, but I'm not a Tartarus spawn."
"We shall see about that."
"Fine! You are next to my list!" she gave her an evil smile.
"I don't think I have a reason to be afraid of you."
"Don't worry, I'll give you one soon enough.". They both started laughing again.
