The room was utterly silent. Everything that Twilight and her friends knew about themselves got turned upside down with the arrival of the new play mate. They looked at the half opened box with the new princess Twilight toy still inside, confused. The label on the box tells them that this was princess Twilight, but the Twilight that they all knew wasn't a princess and was standing right with them. It's like finding a clone and the original and don't know which ones which, even though there is a distinct feature that separated the both.
Questions was racing between all of them. Why is Twilight a princess? Is this new Twilight the same as the old one or is completely different? Will Amy play with this new Twilight instead of the one she had gotten use to? Or the question that worried the original Twilight the most: Will her friends prefer this new Twilight over her? She know it's an absurd idea, but fear has its ways to sneak into the mind.

The Twilight that was still didn't looked too comfortable either. All these strangers watching her and she has no way to move her limbs. She feels practically defenceless. When they see the pony trying to get out of her box, the Mane 6 realized that they need to help her. Even though she was still as speechless as the others, Applejack was the one who went over to help. It didn't took too long for her to get the Twilight out of her box.

Once Applejack undone the last plastic string that binds her, she then helped the Twilight to get down. Once she was on all four of her feet, princess Twilight then said "Thank you" to Applejack, like she was a lady of royalty. AJ just blushed as she didn't know how to feel what to feel.

AJ then went back over to her friends and the room returned to silence just like before. However this time, they have a better opportunity to speak. Everyone didn't know what to say as they didn't know how the other one will react. However, the princess Twilight toy was the first one to speak.

"My name is Princess Alicorn Twilight Sparkle and it's a pleasure to meet all of you" greeted the princess as she bow before them.

Seeing this seen only made the Mane 6 more confused as before. To them, she looked just like the Twilight that they always knew. But what she was doing wasn't what their Twilight would do. Bowing before them and acting like a royal (but very polite) princess. It was blowing their minds away.

Eventually, Rainbow Dash got up to Twilight's ear, the Twilight that she knew before now, and try to silently ask:
"What going on here Twilight?"

However, Rainbow's question wasn't silent enough and the princess Twilight over her. She stood back up in confusion and asked out loud:
"Wait... Twilight. Is that my first name and it isn't "Alicorn"?"

The Mane 6 was as bewildered as before, but it was different. Before, they were shocked because they were seeing a clone. But now, it was a like a funny error that just surprised them.

"No, it's not" replied Twilight to her duplicate's question. "What made you think it was "Alicorn"?"

The princess Twilight became slightly embarrassed. "Well... the box said..." she explained as she point towards the label on the box.

The box did say: "Princess Alicorn Twilight Sparkle" so they all could see how she could make that mistake. In fact, they find the mistake a little bit funny. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie was chuckling fairly loud, Fluttershy had to cover her mouth while the rest managed to hold it in.

When they could see that the princess was looking embarrassed about her misunderstanding, Twilight went over to her and gently states the best way that she can: "No. Your name is... I mean our... our names are... we both share the name "Twilight Sparkle.""

"Ok?..." replied the other Twilight who was as confused everyone else. But then, she asked a shocking question: "And my I ask what are your names?"

Everyone became relative surprised, shocked that this Twilight doesn't know who they are. When she see their faces, the other Twilight realized that they expected her to know them and felt guilty about it. The more that they talk to her, the more that they notice how different this Twilight was compared to their own. It was a sort of a relief, but it was still disheartening.

"You don't know who we are?" Applejack enquire.

Princess Twilight told them regrettably: "I'm sorry... but no."

The Mane 6 looked at each other as they were having a hard time to explain it to her. The original Twilight asked the other one: "Um... Princess Twilight, do you know what you are?"

"Oh! I know what I am" she replied. "I know that I am a toy and I'm really excited to bring joy to kids.... But I don't know who I am based on."

They were taken back by that remark. For them, it was the exact opposite. They knew who they were but they didn't realized that they were toys at first. They feel a strong urge to tell her who she is.

Twilight took her inexperience and confused double to the edge of the dresser a point to the poster on the other side from the room. "Look, do you see that poster?" she asked.

The Twilight with the wings looked up and see the poster. The poster shows the Mane 6 (with the Twilight without the wings) lining up for the photo, just like from the opening sentence, with the MLP: Friendship Is Magic logo over them.

As the new Twilight stares into the poster, the old Twilight explains to her:
"We are toys from the popular My Little Pony TV show. In it, we and along with our friends goes on magical adventures and discover the magic of friendship."

"Fascinating" she remarked as the gears in her head was turning and was realizing something magical. She looked at them, eager for an answer and asks: "So all of you... are my friends?"

The question made the Mane 6 looks at each other and began to wonder. Even if it was weird for them to see a Twilight acting like this, acting like a princess, but they could clearly see her as a separate being. And when they look at her and listen to her question, it was like that she was asking them to be her friend. And because they are just like their TV counterparts, they were more then happy to.

They all stood together strongly, look at each other with a strong conformation before they turn with happy faces and Twilight proudly tells her: "Yes... we are."

Before the new Twilight arrived today, she thought she would live her life as a toy with knowing who she really is or where she is from. And not only did she already fulfilled her dream, but also found friends who was happy to be with her, even though they already has a Twilight in their group. Saying that she was overjoyed was an understatement. And even though she was a plastic figure, it felt like there were tears pouring down her face.

And then her new/old friends walked up to her and happily introducing themselves.

"HI! My name is Pinkie Pie and I am your bestest friend."

"Howdy Twilight. The name's Applejack and I'm honestly happy to meet you."

"Hello. My name is Flutter... Fluttershy... My name is Fluttershy."

"What's up. The name is Rainbow Dash and I'll the AWESOMEST friend you will ever have."

"It is a pleasure to meet you, your highness. My name is Rarity and if you ever in need of a dress, I will be happy to make you one."

Even though she was confused and not sure rather or not she was meeting them for the first time, the new Twilight was just happy to be surrounded by ponies who love her. And when the new one see the old one, the old Twilight just shrugged and tells her: "I guess you already know who I am." And even though it wasn't hilarious, they find it funny enough to have a lough about.

However, once they had their little chuckle, she regret it, but Applejack then asked the question: "I'm sorry to ruin this, yall, but is anybody still weirded out by how new Twilight have wings?"

The happy mood was gone and the awkward, uncomfortable air had returned. Everyone looked at Alicorn wings that was on Twilight. Pinkie tried to lighten the mood, but just made things a bit more awkward.

"Yeah, it's really weird. These two looks exactly alike. Same mane, same colour, same horn, same cutie mark. The only thing that's different is that one has wings."

As everyone became confused again, princess Twilight assumed the problem came from her.

"Wait! Your Twilight and the Twilight on the poster doesn't have wings. Am I... Am I not supposed to have these?" she asked as she looks at her own wings.

Before, she could panic, Twilight quickly got up to her alicorn self and explains to her: "No! No! You are mean to have her wings." However, while it didn't stopped her other self from panicking, Twilight have just gotten the suspicion from her friends. The way that she said it so fast and without stuttering, it was almost as if she knew something. Something that she didn't felt the need to tell her friends. And unfortunately, Twilight did kept it as a secret. However, even though she was hesitant for her to admit, it wasn't impossible for her to say it.

Unicorn Twilight explains to all of them: "You see... in the show, "Twilight" was tested by Princess Celestia that involves finishing Starswirl's unfinished spell. She passed and after all the things she done, she was crowned as a princess."

After everyone heard the explanation, a lot of questions has been answered to them. They can understand why they made a Princess Twilight. However, doubt grew stronger with Twilight's friend.

"Hang On!" yelled Rainbow Dash. "You knew all this time and you haven't told us?"

The Mane 5 slowly becomes upset at Twilight as they began to glare at her. Unintentionally, Princess Twilight was in the view at their glare but knows they aren't looking at her. All she could do was to look at her senior and hoped she can get out of this.

Twilight was distressed at first as she was seeing her friends being crossed at her. However, when she thought of her reason for not telling them, she grew unintentionally angry.

"Hey! Don't look at me. I asked you all several times to come and watch the show with me, but you all has happy to do your own thing."

At first, her first excuse didn't changed their minds. She sounded like she was winging that her friends wouldn't come and hang with her, It was a fair reason, but not enough to swing their moods. However, her next argument does have a stronger impact.

"You all no longer interested in what you were like in Equestria. You didn't want to see how well you gotten or remember the stuff we thought we had. I thought you wouldn't cared so that's why I didn't tell you."

Twilight's words ring truth to them. Since they realized that they are toys and found new ways to entertain themselves, they have become distant from the world they thought they came from. Even though they know it was all made up, they still cherish their false memories as they still bring great happiness to them. Anger left all of their faces as they feel ashamed for themselves

"Sorry Twilight. Yer right as always" apologized Applejack for herself and for the rest of them.

"No, I should apologized to" Twilight retorted. "This was something that I should have told you. I had..."

But then, Princess Twilight stopped her twin before she could feel even more guilty for her self. "Come now, no one could predict something like this could happen so you all shouldn't blame yourselves or each other."

the princess's words helped save everyone from their self pity, even they still found it a little weird that Twilight would say those words so elegantly and lady like. It even spark a bit of envy from the original Twilight. However, she hadn't yet realized it and says:
"Thanks... me."

However, as they were embracing this happy moment, Pinkie Pie's head pop up as if she had realized something.

"Hang on!" she shouted, getting the intentions of her friends. "Can you guys hear that?"

For them, they only hear to tall silence. However, all the senior toys who were there quickly remembers that Pinkie was the best listener in the group as she can hear many loud sounds from across the house. Down stair, Amy had happily finished her pie and she was eager to return to her toys. She thanked her mother for how delicious the pie was and then began running to their room.

When Amy made it to and start climbing the stairs, all the little pony toys began to notice the loud footsteps to notice. With wicked fast reflexes, everyone rushed back to the places where they lied.

Twilight stayed behind so she can tell her confused friend what she needs to do.

"Quick! Get back into your box!"

"What! Why!?"

"Amy haven't got you out of your box yet and she might get suspicious if your somewhere else!"

"Ok. But how can we tie me up in time?"

"Just get into place and she would think she would have done it herself."

With quick and loud steps at the door, they no long had any more time to talk. The princess did what her non-princess self told her to do. She back into her box, got into her plastic frame and ignore the plastic wire. While she was doing that, the regular Twilight reunite with her friends on the floor. She then lay down beside them on the floor, anxious to see how things will play out.

Amy bust open her door with excitement, see her new toy which she had long waited to play with. She rushed over and got the Twilight out of her casing, forgetting that she had untied her, like what Twilight had predicted. Her hands tremble as she holds her Princess Twilight toy in front of her face.

On the ground, all the ponies could only see was Amy's back just like before. They were worried for their new/old friend as this will be her first experience being played with. Pinkie, on the other hand, just wants Amy to turn around and play with them as well.

Eventually, Amy turned around with the princess in hand, kneeled down and collected her scattered toys along with a few other things. She picked up Twilight, the others and a couple of books and began placing them in the scene that she had imagined. She grouped the Mane 5 together and was facing towards the Twilight with the wings who was standing on top a pile of books. However, Amy had placed her old Twilight somewhere towards under her bed so she wouldn't get in the way of her other toys.

Twilight was left utterly surprised as she could see Amy had discarded her and placed her by the side. Amy was too engross into playing with her other toys to notice that Twilight had silently gotten up.

"Ta Da Da DA!" Amy sounded, pretending she was playing a trumpet. She then pretend to be a royal announcer and cried out: "Hear Ye! hear Ye! Introducing Princess Twilight Sparkle!"

As Amy imagined the Twilight doll she was playing with had appeared, she grabbed the Mane 5 one at a time and making them jump up and down.

"Yay Princess Twilight!" she said, imagining that what her friends would say.

Amy then grabbed her princess Twilight and says: "No! No! No! This wouldn't do. The only party I want is the one that was made by my very best friend: Pinkie Pie."

"You called princess?" Amy said, imitating Pinkie Pie as she moves her closer to Twilight.

"I want you to make me the most awesomest party that you can imagined."

"Did someone said awesome?" Amy said as now imitating Rainbow Dash.

The Twilight that Amy had forgotten just stood there and looked. Watching the scene which Amy had imagined. She also took president in how Amy was betraying herself as the new princess. She was see the new Twilight as nothing more but a princess, making her posh and having her friends to make her a party.

These were the questions that were going through Twilight's head: "Is this how she's going to see me as now? Since Amy has her new Princess Twilight toy, she never be played with again? Will Amy replaced me with her?" However, the question that she dreaded most of all, the question that shook Twilight to her very core is: "Amy, who loved me since the day that she brought me, found it so easily to forget me in favour of her new toy, will my friends replace me as well?"

As Amy was too preoccupied with her other toys at the moment, Fluttershy took a chance and tried to see how the Twilight that she always knew was doing. But when she see Twilight, she saw her with the saddest face that she had ever seen. She then watches Twilight as could no longer be there any long and disappears in the show of Amy's bed. Before Fluttershy could even thought about sneaking away, she was quickly pulled away by Amy's giant hand and could do nothing for her saddened friend.
