" Ugh..." I rolled over and pulled the covers over my head. I really didn't want to get up. The idea sounded terrible. I'm so comfortable and warm. A pink aura pulled the blanket off of my body, exposing me to the cold. I shivered violently, trying to grab an imaginary blanket. I curled in on myself when I couldn't find my blanket. I got a gentle nudge on my neck and a lick on my face. I opened my eyes. Monster laid on the bed next to me. I grabbed onto him before letting my eyes slide close.
" Cold, please get up." the voice seemed distant. I moaned and rubbed my forehead with my hoof. I rolled over, keeping Monster close to body. Monster didn't seem to mind. He was so warm compared to the rest of the room. I sighed peacefully.
I slowly drifted back off to sleep. the voice seemed to leave me alone for quite sometime. I got a very rude awakening when pillows were beamed at my face. I sat up instantly. The voice was becoming louder. I rubbed my eyes with my hooves before yawning. My vision was slightly blurry and I felt a bit queasy.
" Cold, are you okay?" the voice asked. I blinked hard before rubbing my eyes again. My eyesight came into focus. I saw one very concerned looking Twilight. I yawned before laying down,this time my eyes didn't close. I was tired and Twilight saw this.
" Y-yes, Twilight?" I asked, my voice sounding hoarse. Twilight stared at me for a few seconds. I didn't let my eyes close.
" Are you okay?..." Twilight asked nervously. I nodded yes. The cold air was making me shiver. Twilight suggested I should get up. It would wake me up more and it wouldn't be as cold. I took the blanket from Twilight and I wrapped it around my body as I walked downstairs. I sat down in the kitchen. Spike of course was making breakfast and hot coco. That sounded really good right now. Usually I would prefer coffee, but today I really wanted hot chocolate. Spike gave me a croissant and my hot coco. The croissant smelled really good and the hot chocolate looked really good. The croissant was a prefect golden brown and was slightly buttered. The hot chocolate was steaming and deep rich brown before Spike added marshmallows.
" Bon appetite." Spike said happily. I used my magic to rip off a small piece of the croissant. I slowly ate it. When the flavor hit my taste buds they exploded. That had to be the best thing I ever ate. I used my magic to eat more of it.
" Wow...I've never ate something this good before." I said, my mouth full of croissant. Twilight giggled slightly before sitting on a chair next to me. She opened a scroll and laid it in front of me. I looked at the scroll as if it were in a foreign language. Twilight pointed to section of the letter. She started explaining to me, over breakfast, her task from Princess Celestia.
After one very long explanation, I started falling asleep. Twilight saw me. I had my head down and my ears were flattened against my head. I was falling asleep on my breakfast. Twilight used magic to pick my head up. I frowned.
"...That's why Princess Celestia wants me to teach you..." Twilight explained. I rolled my eyes. I kinda missed her explanation...
" So...why does Princess Celestia even want you to teach me. I already know magic and I don't need anymore help with it." I said, getting slightly irritated. Twilight groaned in frustration. She rolled her eyes at me.
"Princess Celestia knows your level of magic. She wants me to teach you how to use your magic for good instead of bad. In the scroll told me she saw a vision of an unknown source. She said that she wanted me to teach you friendship. It's an assignment from my teacher. I have to passed!" Twilight was about an inch from my face. I rolled my eyes at her. Again.
" Ah huh. Tell me why should I listen to you?" I asked. Twilight sighed before placing a hoof on mine.
" You don't have to. But please, be considerate it's my job." Twilight stated. I sighed and crossed my forelegs. I couldn't believe I was going to say yes. I frowned but nodded.
" I understand. But I want you to know that I'm not saying yes and that I'm not saying no." I replied, looking down. Twilight nodded. She took our plates to the sink. I used my magic to drink my hot chocolate.
" Well...we better head out..." Twilight stated. I nodded and I followed. This sure was gonna be one bumpy ride......
