Pinkie Pie being her normal self, was hopping along Ponyville. Enjoying the friendly atmosphere, every smile she got, and seeing her friends happy. Twilight, Apple Jack, and Rainbow Dash were in Canterlot controlling another infestation of parasprites. Rarity, Fluttershy, and herself were told by Twilight to stay in Ponyville and guard it in case the parasprites spreaded there. So far nopony had noticed any parasprites, and it was starting to seem that they were perfectly fine and that nothing was going to go wrong. She was headed to the Carousel Boutique to check up on Rarity, who was making dresses for the upcoming Grand Galloping Gala. Pinkie Pie was halfway there when she was stopped by Fluttershy.
"Hi Pinkie. How have you been today? Seen any parasprites lately, I know I haven't but I'm not that sure about Rarity. I haven't seen her all day." said Fluttershy nicely.
"Actually no I haven't seen any, and I hope I won't. Hey wanna come with me and check up on Rarity?" said Pinkie nudging Fluttershy.
"Alright then." said Fluttershy as she and Pinkie started trotting once again to the Carousel Boutique. As they hopped along happily they heard screams and cries that sounded like a pony was saying, "Why?! Why me?! Sweet Celestia why me?!". Pinkie and Fluttershy heard the screams and cries and ran to where the sound was coming from. They crashed into the wall of the Carousel Boutique.
"Oh no! The screams and cries were coming from Rarity's house! We have to hurry Pinkie, run!" They quickly ran in to see all the commotion.
"Rarity are you alright?" Pinkie screamed looking all around. Fluttershy and Pinkie saw Rarity looking at her dresses which had grape juice all over them. Rarity was sceaming "Why?! Why to me?!"
"Rarity what happened to our dresses for the gala?!" exclaimed Fluttershy.
"Sweetie Belle got grape juice on them! AGH!" Rarity screamed. She was sobbing uncontrollably and fell down screaming again and again "Why?!".
"Rarity you had us worried, you silly filly! We thought something terrible had happened!" said Pinkie hopping over to Rarity's side.
"But Pinkie Pie, something terrible DID happen!" yelled Rarity pushing Pinkie away and sobbing once more.
"You know what? Let's go out and have some fun. Just the three of us. To get your mind off things. I mean the dresses don't matter anyway. All that maters is that we show up at the gala for the princesses sake, so that we could actually make it not a total mess up." said Fluttershy helping Rarity up on her hooves.
"I guess you are right Fluttershy dear. But where should we go? Or at least where should we go first?" said Rarity getting up.
"Well I don't know bout' that Rares! But I do have an idea! We could go to the spa!" said Pinkie hopping up and down.
"That is a great idea Pinkie! I was just talking Aloe and Lotus before I talked to Pinkie." said Fluttershy. They all started trotting out.
"Then what are we waiting for? Yay for us!" shouted Pinkie hopping higher than before.

"Welp this is the life isn't it? BFFS!" said Pinkie Pie grasping her friends in a very tight hug. They were currently in the spa and were having the best time of their lives getting their minds off of things. Away from the dresses, the gala and the parasprites.
"Yes. Yes it is Pinkie. Thank you girls for taking me here and getting my mind off things. You don't know how much this has helped. The least I can do is pay for this." said Rarity putting her hoof on Pinkie's shoulder.
"Oh no no, Rarity. We did this for you Pinkie and I will pay for it. You deserve this for all that you do around here. Making dresses, making decorations for events, and lots of other things you do." said Fluttershy.
"No really I believe you have out done yourselves girls. I am the element of generosity, it is my duty to be generous. Even if it wasn't my element I would still be generous today. So really girls, this one is on me." said Rarity.
"Fine, if you want too. But the next place we go is on me." said Fluttershy.
"Soooooo." said Pinkie Pie. "Have you been keeping your eyes on anypony in particular?" said Pinkie Pie raising her eyebrows.
"No not really." said Fluttershy. Pinkie Pie scooted over closer to Fluttershy.
"Are you suuure? You and Discord are best friends." said Pinkie nudging Fluttershy still raising her eyebrows.
"No! Discord and I are just friends Pinkie!" Fluttershy said pushing Pinkie away.
"Plus, how old is he anyway?" said Rarity.
"Rarity, his age doesn't matter. But, he is turning 4,362 in June! said Fluttershy.
"Really? Oh my gosh it seems like yesterday he was only 4,361!" said Rarity putting her hoof on her heart.
"I know right! He hasn't even aged a bit!" said Fluttershy engaging with Rarity in a conversation.
"Okay enough about Discord. Fluttershy is out, but Rarity is still in. Anything going on between you and 'Spikey-Wikey'?" said Pinkie still raising her eyebrows and now nudging Rarity.
"Oh heavens no Pinkie Pie! Spike and I are just friends, I know he has a crush on me but he will grow out of it. I did when I had that massive crush on Trender Hoof. Then I realized that he would chance for ponies he likes and I don't like that about a pony. Always be yourself and if a pony doesn't like that, it's their problem." said Rarity shoving Pinkie Pie.
"Ouch Rarity! You don't have to be so hard! What are you a fashion designer or a body builder!" yelled Pinkie Pie rubbing her arm which had been shoved by Rarity.
"Are you alright Pinkie? It looks a little red." said Fluttershy putting her hoof out to Pinkie Pie.
"I'm fine, I guess it'll just bruise a little." said Pinkie slowing down her rubbing.
"Oh Pinkie I'm so sorry! I never meant to-" said Rarity being cut off by Pinkie Pie.
"It's fine Rares. I know you didn't mean too." said Pinkie Pie no longer rubbing her arm.
"Oh would you look at the time! Twilight, Rainbow, and Apple Jack should be arriving now! Come on no time to waste!" said Rarity hurrying out with Fluttershy and Pinkie. Twilight and the girls walked up to them with smiles on their faces.
"Hey guys!" said Twilight hugging them.
"Hey Twi! Hey Apple! Hey Dashie!" said Pinkie hopping again.
"How many times have I told you NOT to call me 'Dashie'?!" said Rainbow angrily. Pinkie Pie started backing up.
"Woah okay I won't call you it again!" said Pinkie Pie putting her hooves above her face in terror.
"We had to slave over 5,000 parasprites, and not one letter of 'Hey guys how are things going do you need any help'!" said Rainbow Dash getting closer to the three girls.
"C'mon now calm down Rainbow. Twilight told them to watch over Ponyville and they did as they were told. You can't blame them for not wantin' to come help when they still had a job to do!" said Apple Jack pulling down Rainbow Dash.
"Fine." said Rainbow brushing off her shoulders.
"So what have you been doing all day?" asked Twilight walking away with all the girls.
"Oh nothing much." Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy said at the same time. The girls all started laughing and trotted off together.
But, they never spoke of what went on in the spa.
