As Sonic's group saved the falling elements, Metal dived down, forcing the elements to use him. The bearers returned to normal, all pain given to Metal Sonic. Just as Sombra's sword almost met neck, the alicorn teleported and in its place a rainbow Nichole took a battle stance in its place.

"Why does it look like me?!" Real Nichole asked from Metal's right ear.

Metal shrugged, now resembling Neo Metal Sonic from his past life. The Harmony Emeralds circled him, giving him their power, "I thought Metal Madness or Metal Overlord would take the alicorn's place, honestly." Just then, the honesty emerald glowed brighter.

Rainbow Nichole dodged the blade's strike again, sweeping her leg in an attempt to knock Sombra off his feet. Instead he jumped, but couldn't dodge the rainbow laser that hit his chest.

Metal laughed, commenting, "Oh, please forgive me for my 'kindness'! Though seriously, you can stop now." Just as he spoke, the forgiveness and kindness emeralds glowed brighter. "I hope you understand, I have friends to protect... even if they don't see me as one."

Time Warrior Sombra stood in front of his actual self, Time Sombra, both replying in sync, "Nope. I'm here to eat crystals and kill you all, but I lost my appetite. Your loyalty sickens me." He took out three more swords for his other hands while rainbow Nichole took out a feather.

"Wow, a political cartoon reference," Sunset said, sighing in defeat.

"A feather? Your going to fight me with a feather?" Sombra laughed.

Metal just shrugged, "You said my loyalty 'makes you sick' and laughter is the best medicine in my opinion." The loyalty and laughter emeralds glowed brighter. "Heck, I thought you were the bad guy that takes instead of gives. Then again, I don't understand generosity." The generosity emerald glowed. "I mean seriously! Out of all my hiding, I hardly see Rarity doing it!"

"Hey, you brute!" Rarity complained from the ground.

"Sure, she gave that one stallion in Manehattan her scarf, but how many times do you see her give free scarfs to strangers? Though the arrival of mobians are helping... Speaking of 'not helping'- FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC!!!" The magic emerald glowed as rainbow Nichole fired a much more powerful and bigger beam of rainbows.



Sombra screamed in pain as he barely dodged the attack, shooting gold arrows as he rolled. His bottom arms were gone and he was seriously damaged from the sneak attack.

Rainbow Nichole ran over with the feather, tickling him. He couldn't grab his dropped swords from the ground, but he could toss a fire ball. Looking at his hand, Sombra smirked sending rapid fire balls at his enemy and grabbing his swords in the process.

He stopped his attack, noticing a frog. In his head he thought, Why do I think of this creature as a threat?! He swooped down, flicking the frog away from the cliff. From the direction he launched the frog, tress fell over or were tossed from something powerful.

Everyone stopped, now watching the forest as a huge purple ball smacked warrior Sombra in the face, sending him flying. "You! Hurt! Froggy!" Big shouted, placing Froggy on a rock, and spin dashing down then back up the cliff, punching Time Sombra hard in the face before falling. He bounced off the X Tornado, as it flew to catch him, giving warrior Sombra an uppercut that knocked him back up to rainbow Nichole. He once again bounced off the X Tornado, landing on the cliff to doctor his friend.

Everyone's jaw dropped and eyes wide, even Sombra's minions, the Shadow army, and rainbow Nichole.

Tails shook his head, "I knew he could toss cars with ease, but that was insane!"

"Tell me about it! How did his spin have enough force to make him go airborne and not break the cliff?!" Twilight questioned.

Tails threw his arms up for a moment before catching the controls, "How did he even injure Sombra?!"

Pinkie muttered, "I taught him well, indeed."

Metal and rainbow Nichole shook their heads in sync. Metal looked down at the ponies, "Do you want to finish him off?"

The girls looked to each other, nodding in agreement. The emeralds were handed back to them as Metal returned to normal and the ponies regained their rainbow look.

The rainbow alicorn returned where rainbow Nichole once stood and dashed over to Sombra, releasing one final wave of rainbow energy.

A red wagon pulled up, the driver being Scootaloo on her scooter. Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, Spike, and Cream with Cheese hopped out, looking at the land filled with nothing, but Shadow clones and their friends. Scootaloo moaned, "Is it over? Did we really miss it?!"

Suddenly a voice bellowed from the sky, "I'm not finished yet!" In the sky, a completely healed, four armed human Sombra with clockwork armor slowed the attack with a time shield. He stood proud in front of his laughing Time Sombra head.

Before anyone could react, a portal opened as an army of green normal Metal Sonics with black torsos, red visors, and flame job arms emerged, followed by Rosey the Rascal with her hammer above her head.

Both big Sonics (Wolf in his normal form) looked upon them in shock, "Metal Scourge?!"



Metal rolled his eyes, "Plah-lease. They're just repainted mes, nothing to worry-" One by one they activated the same special weapons Metal Sonic acquired from Mega Man. "Now don't I feel special..."

The fight raged on as the Metal Scourges and Shadows fought.

Both Amys decided to distract their little brat counterpart, somehow making the odds even for Rosy as hammers were tossed and swung.

Sombra continued to slow down the rainbow alicorn and fire homing arrows at her, severely injuring the bearers in the process. With Metal warning everyone of capabilities he has that the Metal Scourge army might have, he cant take control.

Sombra is making sure Twilight cant lead her friends and everythings going down hill.

Sonic couldn't let this happen! He had to find some way to fight! If he cant help them, who could?

Suddenly, the Metal Scourge army became organized. They either had Blaze Woman's Fire Tornado or Tails Man's Tails Wind to create a wall of fire. Those who circled towards the back either had Shadow Man's Chaos Cannon or Silver Man's Psycho Burst to slow, hold, or push their enemies who tried to avoid the fire.

Those who were immune to one attack met the other one. It did not matter if a Shadow could counter Chaos Cannon, its no use trying to avoid Psycho Burst when you were in that weapon's hold. Metal Sonic knew every weapon's weakness, but couldn't stop them all. Speed is one thing, time was another.



Sombra charged up his final swing only to be stopped by another blade.

Between Time Sombra's warrior Sombra spirit and the mane seven's rainbow alicorn spirit, slowed by time, was King Sonic donning golden armor and an upgraded Caliburn.

Sombra pushed down on his sword with little response, "Move you pesky rat!"

Sonic pushed Sombra away and flew towards him, pulling down his face guard and letting his glorious red cape flow behind him. He swung Excalibur towards the warrior, tossing away swords until Sombra saw him as a true threat. Sonic smirked, "I'm a hedgehog, mule."

They exchanged swipes and slashed with their swords. Sombra took a fighting stance, aiming four swords at Sonic, "Give up!"

"Hmph! You are mistaken if you think this is the limit of Excalibur's power!" Excalibur boasted.

Sonic took no fighting stance, instead "hopping" on his feet. He gave a few arm stretches while tapping his foot, "I'm waiting for my demise over here!" Sombra shot arrows at Sonic, only for him to be somewhere else. "Come on! Chili dogs could be made faster than you!"

Sombra lunged at Sonic, expecting to impale him. Sonic made a golden tornado capturing him for a moment, then homing in on him, Antoine style. A few cuts appeared on him, he shot dark crystals at Sonic, but someone else stopped them and tossed them back. Both Sonic and the rainbow alicorn circled Sombra, looking for an opening. The warrior tossed arrows and fireballs around him, leaving under his feet open.

From underneath, a purple blur sent a quick cheap shot before joining the group.

Excalibur (BOOM!)Sonic looked over to Darkspine (Modern)Sonic and shook his head. "So, how did you convince Celestia and Luna to give you the other two world rings?"

"I asked nicely?" He might've smirked, but it didn't show on his creepy, mouthless face. He flew through fire balls without a scratch and deflected arrows. He gave Sombra a few punches, all being blocked with slight ease before a massive black crystal was tossed at him.

Rainbow alicorn tossed the attack back at Sombra, which was blocked away in multiple pieces Excalibur Sonic used to rapid fire shards back again at Sombra, who dropped his guard to be kicked in the ribs by Darkspine.

Steve Urkel's voice could be heard as Hyper (Classic)Sonic arrived, "Hey guys! Metal just hit me with a rad friendship cannon thing!"

Darkspine turned his head, "We got this."

"Not cool! I can help!"

"We got this."

"I'm juicin' anyway!"

"Nobody says that anymore, unless their vegan."

"Way past, uncool!"

From behind the argument, warrior Sombra had Excalibur Sonic in a head lock, punching him repeatedly and slashed at a frozen in time rainbow alicorn.

The rainbow alicorn's mouth was open, allowing Fluttershy to take control. "Fos Roh Dah!!!" Sombra flew through the air by the force, recooperating and returning to be engulfed by a rainbow laser from Hyper Sonic. Hyper Sonic flew over, giving Sombra kicks to the face and a punch in the gut. He gave another blast of energy, followed by Excalibur Sonic extending Excalibur's blade, swinging his sword rapidly in a Soul Surge Attack that sent him flying again.

He flew over to the group, back above the battle field. Time Sombra opened his mouth, giving warrior Sombra the ability to have more of himself as four warrior Sombras attacked.



Hyper Sonic balled up, placing himself in Darkspine's grasp as he fired him in a flaming rainbow homing attack. Fire, arrows, and rainbows filled the sky as they fought.

Metal Sonic watched the battle unfold. Shadows and robot parts lied all around, the once grassy field looked dark and lifeless. Some struggle to survive as the army of Metal Scourges kept piling out. King Shadow and Adviser Shadow had to join to fight, determined not to retreat.

Big continued to doctor his frog and everyone tired. Even the limited Shadow army gave it their all. Metal looked towards Canterlot, Why are they just sitting there?! Don't they care about their subjects? Don't they care about their world?

"Laser! Laser! Laser! Laser!" the voice exclaimed as four beams of cyan energy from the tip of the castle flew straight at the warrior Sombras, destroying three Sombras in the process and a starrie night trail one punching Time Sombra's face before landing, revealing to be the princesses and and prince Shining Armor, ready for battle.

"ROCKET!!!" From the city, waves of orange rockets flew over, becoming guards from the Crystal Empire and Canterlot with the Robot Guards following in their usual forms. They backed up the Shadows, hammering and impaling Metal Scourge.

Some were even hacked, Metal knows because someone tried to hack him just now. Thankfully the alicorn system blocked the guy out as Metal shook his fist at the robot stallion before following Cadence.

Surrounding both Time Sombra and warrior Sombra, three Sonics in powerful transformations, a rainbow alicorn controlled by seven bearers of the retired Elements of Harmony- one being dragon borne another having a shotgun enhanced by rainbow magic, Metal Sonic, three alicorn princesses- two of which sealed him in ice for a thousand years or so, Spike being held by Cream- Spike defeating him last time, some flying heroes, and two armies not busy enough, aiming at his face.

Time Sombra looked tired, "Yeah, unfair odds. You know what? I'll be back with Tirek, see ya!" Within a millisecond Sombra, his Metal Scourge army, and Rosy disappeared without a trace as the sun shined on everyone.

Luna held her weapons high, "Keep your guard, it may be a trick!"

Excalibur Sonic flew over to the princess, "No. He's really gone."

Darkspine hovered nearby, but not too close to Luna, "This is a game to him, and with his time powers he's allowed to be a sore loser."

From below Sir Lancelot raised Arondight, somehow not part of Excalibur, as he scolded, "Sire! We should prepare better!"

Hyper Sonic hovered close to the night, "We now know what to prep for, bub." "Don't try to sound like Wolverine!"

He returned to normal, falling to Lancelot's feet. Once again mute, he kicked the dirt and walked back towards home.





Big Mouth, the most feared Dr. Robotnik was slack jawed. Nobody in the Robotnik Council saw this coming and so far Nega wasn't responding, his screen blank.

Julian Snively looked smug at his uncle, before realizing what Robotnik's expression meant and frowned. "Um.. Sir?"

"Snively... try to get Nega on the line..." He replied, still lifeless but oddly neutral in tone. He watched as Snively hacked Nega's monitor.

Looking around, his place was a wreck in fire and destroyed machines, metal, and hanging wires unlike the neat, clean lair he had set up. There was one thing that was set apart from the chaos. In green flames and blood there was a message:

One egg scrambled. One spudnik caught snooping, fell with a crash. I'm coming for you all... Can you blame me? I've been dead looonger. This will be fun!

Next to the message was an aged, body less Bokkun with a sword blade holding it in place. The sword that impaled the head was the same gear-themed sword Time Sombra's spirit held. Bokkun had the biggest smile on its face that the corners were curled above his red eyes.
