//------------------------------// // My sword // Story: Going to Equestria // by TheLogoliner //------------------------------// My eyes fluttered as I slowly sat up from my bed. I yawned and stretched my arms and looked around my house. I slowly sat up and grabbed my clothes to put on. I continued to yawn when I walked to the bath room. After I was finished I walked down stairs and looked out on the beach. I sun was coming up in a bright and beautiful sunrise with a mix of orange and red. I could feel the heat radiating off of it. I took a deep breathe and exhaled the fresh air. I heard a knock on my door and quickly turned from surprise. I walked over to the door and opened it. The pony and I both jumped back a little. My reason was because I totally forgot I was in a world full of ponies. His reason was because he wasn't seen anything like me before. "Uh, are you...Wyatt Smith?" he asked. I looked over him and noticed there was a box behind him. "Oh, yeah." I said once I remembered. Yesterday after the group and I finished building the house, I stayed up a bit to continue making my sword designs. Surprisingly I was able to make a design I liked and sent it to Silver Shield with Spike's help. There is no way he finished all ready. "Well, sign here and here." he said giving me a clipboard with paper on it and a feather dipped in ink with his magic. I hesitated, then grabbed the feather and wrote my name at the blank spots. "Okay, and here's your package." The box was wrapped in magic and placed in my house. As he was walking away faster then normal, I asked him. "Hey, where's Ditzy by the way?" "Oh her, she was other houses to deliver to." he answered quickly and ran off. I shook my head and closed the door. I walked over to the box and looked at it. There was tape wrapped at where the openings would be. I grabbed a small knife and did a clean cut in the tape. I opened the lid and was greeted with hundreds of packaging peanuts. I slowly reached down until I felt something large and metal like. A smile formed on my face when I pulled it out. It was the sword that I drew. It was a curved blade with a curved handle. There was cool wave designs, and everything else was just how I imagined it. Credit goes to halfdeamonspartan for the idea I reached down and pulled out a leather strap, most likely for the sword, and a note attached to it. It read, Dear Wyatt, You have one creative mind. This has been one of the toughest weapon I had the pleasure to make. If you need anything else, just ask me. Silver Shield I couldn't help but chuckle at the letter. I placed the note on the table and had to figure out how to put the strap on. It took me a few minutes to realize that it was suppose to go on my back. Once I got the black leather strap on my back, I placed to sword it. I placed it in the wrong way and flipped it so the the handle was to my right. It was a perfect fit as I walked around with it on. It didn't weigh me down and didn't make a sound. I could be so ninja with this sword! I walked up to a mirror and got even more pleased. Silver Shield must of noticed my clothes because the sword and strap matched my clothes perfectly. I unsheathed it and held the sword in my hands. I was about to test it when I realized that I was inside of my house. So I walked outside and decided to use it one some nearby trees. I walked up to thick branch and remembered the sword lessons my friend had taught me. I took my stance and did a quick swipe. The branch was cut clean in half while my sword didn't have a scratch. "Oh yeah, I'm so going to love this thing." I said to myself. Sorry for the short chapter. It was small because nothing really happens except for the sword. So sorry again. And I would like to thank all of you bronies that gave me sword ideas. I'm sorry that your swords weren't picked but his sword I would always come back to. Though still, thank you to you all for reading my story and giving me great ideas. All I can say is that it was a tough choice.
