"DISCORD!!!!!" Twilight yells, shaking a metallic hoof, before slamming it down on the ground with a metallic THUNK. 

"I can't believe that Discord did this to us!" Rainbow dash said angrily, landing next to Twilight with a metallic clunk.

"Oooooh, I'm all shiny!" Pinkie said in a cheery metallic voice.

"Why he do this to us!" Rarity said.

"Girls?" Fluttershy whispered, but no one heard her.

"When I get my hooves on him,"  Applejack said.

"GIRLS?" Fluttershy said, slightly louder, still no response.

"Why did I have to come?" Spike said in shock & confusion.

"I am gonna report this to princess Celestia, " Twilight said, still angry about what has happened to her & her friends.

"GIRLS!!" Fluttershy yelled. That made everyone stop talking & turn their heads towards Fluttershy.

"What is it, Fluttershy?" Twilight said.

"Well, y-you know when Discord walked towards my cottage, & I let him in," Fluttershy asked.

"Yes, what about it?" Twilight asked, tilting her head in confusion which creaked.

"Well, when I let him in, he told me that he was going to pull a prank on us," Fluttershy said.

"WHAT!!!" everypony yelled.

"Why didn't you tell us this before, Fluttershy." Twilight asked.

"W-w-well, you never asked." Fluttershy said.

Twilight facehoofed, causing a metallic CLANK to be heard.

"*sigh*  We better head back to town. I'll have to tell Princess Celestia about what has happened to us. & while doing so, we gotta try & live our normal lives the way we always do." Twilight said.

"Right!" Rarity, Applejack, Spike, & Rainbow dash yelled.

"Right," Fluttershy said in her soft voice.

"Yippie!" Pinkie yelled happily, bouncing around the group, causing a metallic THUMP every time she landed. 

Twilight, her friends, & Spike, started to make their way back towards Ponyville, knowing that their lives are gonna be slightly different.




After a few minutes, they finally make it back to Ponyville. As they walk through the town, a few pony's eyed them suspiciously. Other's that came out of their homes & saw the metallic ponies, turned around & walked back into their homes. Mostly when anypony walking towards their direction, moved out of their way or went in the other direction. 

"*sigh* I knew this would happen while were walking through." Twilight said, looking around. Every time she turned her head, a faint sound of gears turning & a low VRRR can be heard. They soon reach the front of Twilight's library.

"Okay, you know the plan, just try & live our lives as normal as possible, without scaring or freaking out the other towns ponies." Twilight said.

"Right!" Rainbow dash said, unfolding her wings & flying off.

"Darn right!" Applejack said, heading back to Sweet Apple Acres.

"Right." Fluttershy said quietly, unfolding her wings & flying back to her cottage, slowly.

"Oh, I can't wait to go back & work on making beautiful clothing." Rarity said, trotting back to her boutique.

"Yaaaaaaay! Back to making sweet things!" Pinkie pie said, bounding towards Sugarcube corner.

"Let's go spike, we got a letter for Celestia to write." Twilight said, entering her library. 

"Right!" Spike said, following Twilight.





Meanwhile at Sugarcube corner. Pinkie was bouncing towards Sugarcube corner. A few ponies stared at the metallic Pinkie pie with suspicion, thinking it is one of her tricks. Pinkie came through the door & saw that it was quite busy today. Everypony stopped what their doing, except Mr. & Mrs. Cake, who seemed to be in the kitchen, & stared at the metallic Pinkie.
(In the kitchen)
"Ooh, I hope Pinkie gets back soon," Mrs.Cake said, taking out a batch of brownies. "This is one of our busiest days yet. & we could really use her help." She said. 

"Yep." Mr.Cake said, mixing batter in a mixing bowl.

"I'm back!" They hear a familiar cheery voice yell.

"Thank Celestia, I thought my hooves were gonna fall off." Mr.Cake said.

As they stopped what their doing to let Pinkie pie do it, they hear a solid, yet somewhat soft THUNK. As if metal was hitting wood. Both Cakes stared at each other, trying to figure out what was making that sound. As they continued to look at each other, the THUNK got closer to them, & closer, & closer, until a metallic pink pony that looks like Pinkie pie came through into the kitchen. Mr. & Mrs. Cake jaws dropped & stared at the metallic Pinkie. 

Pinkie tilted her head in confusion at Mr. & Mrs. Cake, trying to figure out why their jaws are open. Pinkie shrugged & saw that they have been busy baking treats & goods. She took a step towards the oven, when she see's the Cakes back up in fear. Pinkie shook her head in confusion, trying to figure out why they were scared. Yea she was a metallic pony, but she was still her same old cheery self. 

"Why are you guys backing up. *gasp* Is this a game?" Pinkie said asked.

"S-s-stay away!" Mr. Cake yelled at the metal Pinkie, both him & Mrs. Cakes's backs against bags of flour. 

"W-what?" Pinkie said in confusion, her mane deflating like a balloon.

"I said stay away!" Mr. Cake yelled again.

"But Mr. & Mrs. Cake," Pinkie said. "I've been working here with you too as long as I can remember, even when Twilight first came here to Ponyville." she said, taking a step forward.

"P-Pinkie?" Mrs. Cake gasped.

Mrs. Cake was about to tell her husband that it was Pinkie, when she saw him toss a bag of flour at Pinkie. The bag of flour hit Pinkie's head, hard, causing it to come off with a harsh SNAP. Pinkie's head hit the kitchen floor with a loud THUNK. The body tipped over & slammed onto the ground with a loud CRASH. Pinkie's lighted eye's went from a light blue color to a lifeless black. 

"*gasp* Y-you killed her." Mrs. Cake gasped.

"W-what?" Mr. Cake asked.

"That was the actual Pinkie, not some metal monster that looked like her. & you killed her..." Mrs. Cake said, a look of anger & sadness spread across her face. 
Mr. & Mrs. cake went to the headless body of Pinkie. They both started to cry, when suddenly they heard a giggle. They both looked around to find the source of the giggle, but found nothing. Suddenly they heard the clanging of metal, & turned to see the body of metal Pinkie get up, & trot over to the head. They both gasped at what they see. The body picks up the head & puts it back on with a CLICK.The lifeless eyes returned to their light blue color. 

"ooh, I knew you guys didn't forget." Pinkie said, trotting back over to the Cakes, who were dumbfounded at what they just saw.

"Oooooooh, Pinkie!" Mrs. Cake said, running to Pinkie & hugging her.

"I-I'm sorry I threw that bag of flour at you Pinkie, I didn't know." Mr. Cake said, rubbing the back of his head with his hoof. 

"Apology accepted." Pinkie said, which made Mr. Cake sigh in relief. "But, let's get to work, there's hungry ponies out there." she said, which seemed to snap them both back into reality. The three of them quickly went in different directions, baking, mixing, adding, etc. Everything in Sugarcube corner seemed to be back to normal.




Meanwhile at Twilight's library. Twilight was going through every book in her library, turning her head 180 degrees if she had to, trying to find out what Discord turned them into, but found nothing. The good part is, she can still use her magic. The bad part, she had to concentrate even more to use it. Twilight went through every book about beasts, monsters, myths, etc. but found nothing.

"*sigh* I can't find anything." Twilight said, stopping the flow of her magic, causing books that were in her magic held to drop, hitting the ground with a loud THUD. 

"I'm sure we'll find out what we are Twilight." Spike said.

"I am sure as well." Twilight said, thinking on what they are. "*sigh* I'll look into this some more later. You ready to take a letter?" she said.

Spike takes out a piece of parchment & a feathered quill. "Ready," Spike said.

"Dear Princess Celestia," Twilight said. "I would like to inform you that Discord has pulled a trick on me & my friends, turning us into some sort of metallic thing. Fluttershy said that Discord didn't mean to do it on purpose. She also told us that Discord told her, before he pulled the prank, that he was going to do it. I wish she would have told us sooner. So if it wouldn't be a problem, would you mind coming down to Ponyville so that I can show you what has happened to us.  Your faithful student: Twilight Sparkle." She finished.

Spike rolled up the parchment. He opened up his metallic mouth, there was a click, & FWOOOOSH, green flames shot out of Spikes mouth & engulfed the parchment, making it disappear.

"At least your magic fire still works." Twilight said, then stares out the window. "I hope that we won't cause to much panic with out new body's. *sigh*" Twilight sighed.
