Chapter 4: BOOKS!!!

Aria walked angrily towards the elevator, along with a cheerful Sonata, and a dazed Adagio. "That was the most pointless sleepover in the whole university, no!! The whole world!!" Aria complained.

"It wouldn't have been pointless if you were thankful instead of being grumpy," Adagio sighed, leaning against the elevator wall.

"He, he! Wooooorst!" Sonata giggled, eating a strawberry poptart.

"Okay, please stop. I'm only saying this once," Aria said.

Ding! The elevator door opened to the lobby, and Aria walked out the doors with her ipod. Sonata had a confused look. "Dagi, Ari is the worst, for realizes!"

"Give it some time, Sonata. Give it some time," Adagio said, shaking her head.

Meanwhile, Aria walked towards the library, listening to Shake Your Tail on her ipod. As she opened the doors, the library was surprisingly crowded, half of the students were reading the new comic, Power Ponies: Comic 10 While others are doing research on the computers.

Twilight waved her hand back and forth until Aria noticed, and she sat down with her. "Hi. Ready to learn?" Twilight asked.

Aria rolled her eyes. "You sound like my kindergarden teacher."

Twilight giggled and opened up a college dictionary. "Now, you struggle with your vocabulary class, right?"

"Yeah..." Aria said.

"Well, the vocab exam is coming up, and the teacher was polite enough to give me a copy of the exam to study, so let's answer these questions shall we?" Twilight said.

This is going to be a while. "Okay," Aria said.

Book after book, Math, Biology, History, Technology, Twilight helped Aria with problems and research. Soon, the sun began to set, and students began to leave the library, along with the two girls.

Sonata opened up her laptop to continue her essay on puppies. She had a messy stack of files and papers with as much information about puppies as she could get, along with a mug of tea and a little bowl of potato chips. Sonata printed out her essay and put on her pajamas, and sat on her bed, drinking her tea.

"Dagi, I've been thinking, since your birthday is coming up, why don't we go to Mrs. Cake's café for dessert?" Sonata asked.

Adagio smiled and took a chip from Sonata's bowl. "Sure thing, Taco Lady."

"Hey! That's not funny!" Sonata giggled. "By the way, Aria should have been back by now from studying with Twilight, do you think she's okay?"

Adagio turned on the shower, grabbing the shampoo. "Yeah, she should be fine. Tomorrow, we're going on some errands, but I have to make up a quiz and Aria has to travel for a job interview. You're lucky you have a job, Sonata," Adagio said, along with noisy water splashing noises. "So I'll give the list of errands to you to complete. Is that okay?"

"Yeah, it's okay. And thanks for reminding me, I have work tomorrow!" Sonata said, lying down on her bed.

Adagio turned off the shower, putting on a towel. "Sonata, could you check on Aria? It's past 8:00 pm, and she's still not here."

Sonata nodded. "Okie dokie lokie!"

Aria and Twilight went to Mrs. Cake's café for a coffee break. Twilight ordered extra sugar to keep her awake while studying overnight. "So, who is your roommate or roommates?" Aria asked.

"Applejack. We get along fine. Pinkie is roommates with Rarity and Sunset, And Rainbow is roommates with Fluttershy." Twilight said.

"That's interesting. Did you know that Adagio freaks about you guys? She adores the Wondercolts," Aria smirked.

"I figured." Twilight said, sipping her warm coffee.

Mrs. Cake walked over with a tray of two small cheesecakes, and placed it on their table. "Thanks," Aria said, taking a slice.

Before Aria could take a bite, Sonata came bursting through the glass doors, panting. "There you are! Dagi and me were getting worried about you! You do realize it's 9:00 right now!?"

Aria sighed. "Well, I needed a break from all that studying, and Twilight offered to have a little coffee break, she even paid for me!"

"Can we take these cakes to go please?" Twilight asked. Mr. Cake brought a paper bag and put the cheesecakes in, and handed it over to her.

"Thanks, Twilight. See you later," Aria said, grabbing the bag and running after Sonata.

When they've reached the dorm, Adagio was watching TV on her favorite channel, and Aria went to the bathroom to take a warm bath. "Oh! Oh! I love that show! I wanna watch!" Sonata squealed.

Aria stepped in the bathtub, smiling. Thank you, Twilight, my friend.

Twilight stepped out of the bathroom and went to bed. She pulled the covers over her. "Where ya'll went today?" Applejack asked, typing an email.

"To the library, a friend needed help on her studies," Twilight answered.

"Well that's nice of you. Say, was it that girl with purple hair and seafoam green highlights?" Applejack said.

"Yes, her name is Aria. She has two other friends named Adagio and Sonata I think," Twilight said.

"Okay, let's hit the hay. It's getting late," Applejack yawned.

Twilight nodded in agreement considering that it was a long day of work. And she rested her head on her pillow.

The moon shined bright in the sky, Owlishious was outside of the window, whooing and flapping. Twilight slept peacefully in her bed, with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Adagio, Sonata, and Aria were not even asleep yet. "Dagi, could you please turn on the night light? I'm getting scared," Sonata asked.

"You're always scared," Adagio said, turning on the night light.

Aria snorted and fell onto her bed. And the three girls slept in silence. Well, for ten minutes. SNORE Adagio snored with the usual mess of hair. Sonata and Aria had enough of it.

"STOP SNORING!!!"
