Chapter 12 - A Misunderstanding and a Turnabout (Unedited)

Twilight sauntered over to Luna, who hadn't bothered to turn around. It was the obvious because Luna didn't acknowledge her presence, after all having her back turned to Twilight. If Twilight were to make the wrong move, she would surely scare Luna. The last thing she wanted to do was to be overly forceful when speaking to her, so she swallowed the big lump that she had caught in her throat. She felt unprotected for some unknown reason, but realized it was because she had no Pokémon with her. But it's not like she couldn't TRUST the young indigo maned mare before her. 'She just has these drastic mood swings that get me so agitated.' Twilight thought, but shook the thought off; remembering she only wished to speak with Luna about her dreams. 'These dreams of hers.' Twilight had lost herself in her thoughts once again. Luna took that moment in time to turn around briskly. But having done that, she was now face to face with the young trainer. Luna's eyes widened to the size of a baseball, and seemingly started, stumbled backwards. Twilight was snapped out of her reverie when she had seen Luna looking like he had seen a ghost. She took that moment to speak with her.

"Luna, I need to talk to you." Twilight said, with this air of seriousness around her that she didn't like. She didn't want to seem the type to be pushy, but she wanted answers. Luna mirrored the look on her face, blinking slowly, as if asking what for. "It's about your dreams."

She knew she had won her over, once she saw that sparkle in Luna's eyes, and a change of facial expression. She looked absolutely interested in the conversation. "Really?" She was really excited, Twilight could tell. Twilight reassured her with a nod of her head then sighed.

"I'd be more comfortable talking at the Café. It's better off there, don't you think?" Luna nodded in agreement, both of them silent throughout the entire way there. 'Man this is really awkward.' Twilight thought. 'To think I'm talking to this mare NICELY after the way she's been treating me But then again she IS more comfortable around Pokémon. So I shouldn't be so harsh on the mare..' She took a simple glance at Luna, looking away as soon as she thought Luna was going to look back. They entered the Café, the sound of a soft bell rung, indicating the entrance of customers. There were only a few ponies inside. Twilight smiled to herself, going to sit by three chairs away from the door. Luna followed behind her, sitting on a chair across from where she sat. Twilight took her hat off, placing it on the table as Luna merely watched in some kind of daze as to how she was acting. Luna leaned forward a little bit, her hooves resting on the table. The smell of fresh brewed coffee lingering in the air. On the table there was a small container with spoons and napkins, probably just in case there was a mess and the necessary items would be there. Twilight took one quick look around once more, seeing there were female attendants walking around attending a few ponies. She looked back to Luna, who was gazing at her with a blank look on her face. 'Yeesh, Alright, Time to get this over with.' Twilight opened her mouth to speak, however Luna had beaten her to it.

"You look uneasy, Twilight." Luna had said with no emotion whatsoever. Twilight cleared her throat and fiddled with her hat. "Where are your friends?"

"My friends?" Twilight repeated, taking a moment to answer Luna's question; she took a deep breath to calm her nerves. She truly didn't feel comfortable without her friends. She obviously knew which friends Luna was referring to, and answered. "They're all resting and healing up at the Pokémon Center."

"Hmm I see." Luna replied, rather quiet on her end, but Twilight didn't mind. She was sure Luna was as uncomfortable as she was, but tried to ignore it to talk about Luna's dreams.

"Oh um, So, can you tell me? About your dreams again?" Twilight asked, leaning forward with a smile growing on her face. Luna leaned back quickly, her face rather flushed.

"Why?" She began. Twilight tilted her head, looking like a confused Lilipup, leaning back and looking slightly offended.

"Why?" Twilight emphasized the word, didn't Luna look excited before? What happened? Maybe she was suspicious of her? She waited for Luna to say something in return, but she just looked at Twilight, with her eyes wide like a scared child. 'Don't tell me she's going to cry.' Twilight thought, grinding her teeth behind her closed lips. "Umm becaaauuusee I thought about what you said Aaaaand I just Want to give my honest opinion on it. Maybe some suggestions?" Luna exhaled, almost like she was holding her breath. She lost the look of a scared child, and licked her lips.

"Didn't you oppose? You don't like the thought about Pokémon Liberation." She mumbled, almost to himself, but Twilight heard nonetheless.

"It's not that I oppose to Pokémon Liberation It's just I don't like the idea. I'm not the only one that doesn't like the idea about setting Pokémon free."

"And yet You find that Pokémon suffering under the hooves of abominable trainers should stay where they are, when they could be happy living in the wilderness where no ponies harm could come to them?"

"Luna, I know it's hard for you to see Pokémon suffer, but what about those Pokémon that truly want to stay with Ponies?" Luna had nothing to say to that, merely hiding her face behind her folded hooves. "Instead of liberating the Pokémon that aren't suffering. liberate those who ARE suffering, and just end it there."

"Twilight, That's not how I want my dream to become a reality." She said, with this hostility in her voice. She lowered her hooves and glared into Twilight eyes. She didn't dare glare back at her, and Luna loosened her glare when she didn't. "I want to separate Pokémon and ponies Where Pokémon are perfect beings and are not under the influence of Ponykind. That Professor Fluttershy has no qualms about the relationship between Pokémon and ponies And still she puts Pokémon into categories using arbitrary rules and she thinks that she can understand them like that. The very idea of a Pokedex revolts me."

"So, You really really REAAAALLY hate the Pokedex." Twilight said quietly, but Luna looked up to her, her face softened considerably after she had vented her hatred towards the piece of contraption. "Have you ever asked Pokémon, what they think about the Pokedex? What do they say about it?"

Luna said nothing, a new light shining upon her. Luna's eyebrows furrowed downward, she placed a hand over her capped head while leaning on the table, and looked to be in thought. At that moment, one of the attendants had walked over to attend them, a polite smile over her face. "What can I get you two?" She asked sweetly, something Twilight chuckled to inside her head. She would never sound like that even if she was seen dying. She looked at Luna, who wouldn't respond and back at mare. Twilight's lips curved upward, returning the smile.

"Just two glasses of water, please?"

"I'll be back, enjoy your stay." After saying that, she went to tend to other customer's orders. Twilight peeked back at Luna, who was still in thought. She tapped the table with her hoof, finally snapping Luna out of it.

"So, did you?" Twilight relived the conversation they were having up until Luna was lost in her imagination.

"Arrrr" She stuttered, looking utterly slightly appalled. She was about to lose herself in thought, when she finally gave a response. "I never asked them."

"Well, You should, see what they think and maybe you'll see it a little differently. And having Team Plasma stealing pony's Pokémon isn't the best idea ever!"

"I see where you're trying to go with this." Luna hissed, looking rather annoyed. "You want me to stop Pokémon Liberation at it's entirety." Twilight's eyes widened, ready to explain herself.

"I never said you should stop all I said was that you should try a different approach to this problem"

"And forgetting about the Pokémon that undergo harsh treatments are forced into battles used for experiments or some source of information? Is what you had in mind!? Is that what you want?" Luna yelled, standing up and slamming her hooves on the table with the angriest frown adorned on her face. Twilight flinched, biting her lower lip to keep herself from yelling back. At this point, everypony in the Café was looking at Luna. "Do you really want to see all those innocent Pokémon unhappy. Pokémon take part in mankind's disasters. How can you even tell me that you love Pokémon in my FACE, and dare say that Pokémon liberation isn't what's optimal!?"

"I have your Oh. I'm sorry Am I interrupting something?" The woman said, having both glass' of water on a silver plate. She had this look as if she had walked in on them, and she felt very intrusive. Twilight blinked once before giving Luna one of her fierce stares. Twilight stood from her chair, she didn't care if Luna was taller than her. Twilight felt like punching Luna then and there, but that would be wasting her time. Touko's hoof smashed the floor frustration, and instead of getting ready to punch this young teen out of her wits, she reached in for her bag. She took out money, handing it over to the young lady that had given them service.

"Here, I'm really sorry for all the trouble but I'll be going now." Twilight said, giving her a very guilty look. She passed the money directly to her. The attendant holding the money in one hoof, and the silver plate with the two glass' in her magic. Twilight rotated her body exit, but stopped dead in her tracks. She turned around to take one look at Luna, who had her brows furrowed in anger. Twilight sighed, not believing what she was about to do. She glided over to the maid, grabbing the glass of cold water that was on the plate in her magic, and splashed it all over Luna. She placed the empty glass on the plate, and before she left; smiled sweetly at Luna. "I tried to be nice about it But I guess everyone takes what I say the wrong way, huh?" She exclaimed, finally departing from the Café and leaving Luna there with a flabbergasted look on her face. She wiped his face from the cold water, shaking his face like a wet Herdier. The attendant and everybody else looked on, and after seeing that ordeal all began whispering to themselves about what she was noisy about.
Another attendant arrived to the scene, she offered him the towel she held in her hands. Luna shook her head once more, and then glanced at the towel that was being handed to him. Luna raised a hoof up, setting the offering aside, feeling too overwhelmed with frustration and guilt to take it. "No I appreciate your concern But, thank you for your hospitality." She looked rather defeated, and after saying that she left the Café. But not before realizing that Touko had left something of hers. Luna went to pick it up, gazing intently at it.

'Could it be? For someone that truly loves Pokémon could not agree with me under these circumstances?' Luna thought. 'It's to be expected that someone who does not genuinely love Pokémon can understand me perfectly Only she ever did.' Her eyes suddenly were moist, and she lowered her cap further to hide her eyes. And with that, Luna left the Café with the item in her magic.

The mare that had the water for them, looked at the other one. "Well I never expected something like that to happen." She said quietly to the other one, who nodded in agreement.

Twilight was beyond angry. She felt all the blood rush to her face and almost feeling steam coming from out of her ears. Twilight stomped all across Baltimare, the tall buildings of the rather small city almost jumping from the force. She was so mad, that she didn't remember about her worried Pokémon waiting in the Pokémon Center. While she was busy hating herself and Luna on the inside, her cousin Rainbow Dash and her best friend Pinkie Pie were walking together. When suddenly they saw Twilight in all her glory. Well more like pissed of self, passed by the duo without acknowledgment. Pinkie raised a hoof up to say something, but Rainbow lowered it.

"Hey! Twilight!" Her cousin called, Twilight didn't bother to turn around. Rainbow raised one of her eyebrows questioningly. Something was wrong."Hey! What gives!?" The two lost souls followed behind the stomping terror, wanting answers from the angry teen.

"Twilight! Hellooooo~?" Pinkie called, waving at her.

"Not now, guys! I'm venting right now!!" Twilight yelled.

"What for? Oouuf!" Pinkie had tripped over her own feet, and fell to the ground. "Owwww."

"Ah! Pinkie Are you OK??!" Rainbow exclaimed, looking exaggeratedly worried over the fallen mare. She grabbed her by the waist, and lifted her up as if she was just a mere foal. Pinkie hid her upper lip behind her bottom lip in a pout, not liking to be treated like a foal.

"Thank you, Pinkie, I'm fine Don't worry about silly old me! Twilight's venting! And when she's venting she's mad, and when she's mad she's mad!" Pinkie exclaimed, running over alongside Twilight, but making sure she didn't trip. Rainbow followed behind like a lost puppy, and the duo stared at Twilight. "Twiiiilight? What happened?"

"It's about Luna."

"Oh Well Not everybody likes the moon." Pinkie frowned cutely. Twilight just slapped a hoof over her face. "Wait, You're not talking about the moon are you?" Rainbow couldn't help but laugh loudly at how silly she was being.

"No, PP, she's talking about a Pony. Unlike you, I was actually listening to her talking while YOU were busy staring at me like a Noctowl." Rainbow smirked, while Pinkie's mouth was shaped like an 'O' in realization. She nodded her head quickly like a playful child, and remembered the conversation.

"I remember! I was listening! And For your information, this just happens to be a moment in Twilights life in which she's having mare troubles! So let auntie PP help out sweet little Rainbow, while uncle Rainbow can maybe be auntie's assistant." Rainbow flushed horrible at what she had just said. All the while Pinkie jumped in front of Twilight and grabbed and stop her in her tracks. Pinkie's grin never leaving her face. "So, Twilight. You're having mare troubles Aren't you?"

"Pinkie They're not mare troubles. She was just being a real jerk."

"Mares and colts are jerks to the ponies they like. Don't get so angry. It's healthy to argue anyway"

"That is SO not true" Rainbow had begun to say, but Pinkie looked at her curiously. Rainbow looking flabbergasted and feeling shy, swallowed the lump that was tied to her throat. She had begun to fiddle with her hooves, a habit of hers from whence she was little.

Pinkie suddenly grinned at her, resting her hooves on her hips. "Pinkie, honey. That doesn't apply on you. I mean You're as sweet as a Haxorus!" After she said that, she looked to be in thought, placing her hoof to her moist lips.

"Pft Pinkie That only applies when Rainbows around you." Twilight finally said, a mischievous smirk plastered on her face. Rainbow's face grew red in embarrassment and of frustration.

"I'm nice to anypony AND everypony!" Rainbow retorted, feeling the need to defend herself. "I'm just especially nice to Pinkie because she's my best friend!" Pinkie made this gasp that had just caught their attention. Both cousins looked at her as she grinned to herself.

"That's it!! Pinkie! You're a genius!!" Pinkie exclaimed, running over to Rainbow and kissing her on the edge of her lips. Rainbow's eyes widened considerably from the random kiss and since she loved the Pink maned mare she was even more flushed! "That's what you have to do! Just try to be nice to her!"

"Pinkie! I already tried doing that, and she ended up yelling at me because she thought I wanted her to change her plans to achieve her dreams!"

"Easy. Never give up! What was that saying in that proverb book? Ummmmmm.'When you come to the end of your knot, tie another rope and hang loose?'"

"Pinkie It's 'When you come to the end of the rope, tie a knot and hang on' and what does that have to do with what's happening to me??"

"Well I just thought I'd sound a little wise But anyway, it has EVERYTHING to do with you! You're always giving up when you think nothing's happening. You need to persevere! Get it? Even if she's a jerk, try to understand her. Mare and colts like it when others understand them, and besides, Patience is key!"

"Persevere." Twilight repeated, testing it out to see how it would sound rolling off her tongue. But Twilight realized that they didn't know Luna as much as she did Not that she knew of her anyway. But Twilight knew something. "Pinkie You don't know her. She's more comfortable around Pokémon than she is with Ponies."

"Well Try to be like her then! Blend in! Understand her! Maybe she's more comfortable around Pokémon because maybe she's lived with them for most of her life. Think about it If you get her comfortable around you, you're prone to see her good side for sure!"

"Hmm, I think you're actually right, Pinkie."

"I am? YES!!" Pinkie jumped giddily, doing a victory dance while she was at it. Rainbow rolled her eyes, wondering where she got this energy from.

"You're going to listen to auntie PP?" Rainbow pointing her hoof over to the silly teen. Twilight could have sworn she saw a vein appear on Pinkie's forehead. Pinkie almost growled at Rainbow, but decided to say something instead.

"What's that supposed to mean?? Uncle Rainbow?" She asked, not really yelling, but not whispering either. Touya squinted at Bianca, ready to retort.

"Well. Honey It's not exactly a SOUND plan!" Rainbow growled. Pinkie gasped, but then both of their foreheads were connected, and were glaring daggers at each other.

"And you have a better plan?!"

"Yes! And I'm positively, one hundred percent sure that it's not as SILLY as yours!"

"My ideas aren't silly! They're genius! Twilight agreed with my plan!"

"This is why nobody asks you for ideas because they're all just as ridiculous as the one who created them!" Suddenly, there was dead silence around them. Pinkie merely looked at Rainbow, looking ready to cry. The rainbow maned mare, feeling awfully guilty, lifted one hoof up to try and place it on her shoulder. Pinkie did nothing to stop her, merely whimpering and pouting like a foal. Twilight sighed, shaking her head in disapproval of her cousin. Rainbow could be the ill jerk at times. Pinkie closed her eyes and lowered her head, her whimpering becoming louder by the second. "P.P.Pinkie I.I'm s.so sorry I"

Pinkie wailed and the cousins flinched. Rainbow was in a tight shell.

"You fix this, you moron." Rainbow bit her bottom lip, walking a little closer to Pinkie.

"P.Pinkie Look. I.I'm really sorry I didn't mean to say that Really."

'Rainbow sounds like she's going to cry too!' Twilight groaned in her head. 'This better end well.'

"Y-You-! Y-You! You b-big m-m-meanie!" Pinkie cried. A waterfall of tears leaking down from her bright blue. "Y-You-! You don't like ANY of my ideas!"

"No Of course I do." She wiped away her tears with his hoof, not wanting to see the pink haired childhood friend cry anymore. "Pinkie I'm really sorry. I don't know what came over me."

"......." Pinkie said nothing, merely sniffling in response to Rainbows words. Her tear-filled eyes met Rainbow, and there they were, just staring into each others eyes. Twilight suddenly thought at that moment.

'Should I really apologize to Luna?' Twilight thought deeply. 'I shouldn't! Then again Oh I don't know what to do anymore What would Mum do at a time like this?' Twilight placed a hoof on her head in thought, and instead of feeling the soft feeling of her hat, the tip of her hoof touched her luscious indigo mane. Her eyes widened at that, now both hooves going to check if it was in it's place. To her complete and utter horror, her hat was missing. 'My hat! Where did I Oh no I left it at the Café!!'

"Guys! I'll see two you later, I have something important to retrieve!" Twilight shouted to them while running off full speed to where she was last. Pinkie and Rainbow were out of this world, and were brought back by their friend's shouts.

"Oh-! Umm, See yah, cousin!" "Bye Twilight!" Twilight ran back to the Café like it was a race against time, but suddenly made a sharp halt around the corner of a house. She was merely a few fifteen feet away from her destination. However, Twilight hadn't forgotten the incident that occurred in the Café. 'I'm not just going to go in there and say, 'Oh, Hi guys, just came to pick up my hat after I splashed Luna's face with cold water!'. They're gonna look at me like I'm' But her thoughts stopped there, when she was grabbed from behind and was knocked out by this alluring smell. Twilight felt lightheaded, and soon enough she was limp in the hooves of a mysterious pony. He was accompanied by two other colts, who looked just as mysterious.

"Take her away." He hoofed Twilight to the other two colts, and soon they disappeared in a heartbeat.

Over at the Pokemon Center, Nurse Sweet Heart who had Twilight's Pokemon, looked very worried and then shook her head hopelessly. She turned to the other Nurse beside her, looking very much disappointed. "She couldn't have?"

"No, I'm sure something happened."

"And if she truly did leave them here on purpose?"

"Then what's there to do?" Both Nurses looked at each other, and rolled the cart with the Poke Balls to a room that was filled with them. She grabbed all of Twilight's Pokemon and placed them next to the others. Sweet Heart left the isolated room where all the abandoned Pokémon were left, turning off the lights and closing the door. There was silence in the room, and then a shake of a Ball. The rounded object was jumping, falling off from it's place. The Ball opened, and a flash of red light to reveal a little Zorua. She shook herself, looking around the dark room, confused at what he had heard.

"Twilight? Leave us?" Sweetie bell said, she ran over to the door and scratching at it. "No! Wait! There must be some mistake!"

Then, another ball fell to the ground, and then four more to reveal Moondancer, Scootaloo, Applebloom, Spike and Sunset. Sweetie bell looked back, hearing a noise.

"What the hell is going on?" Sunset said. "Where are we?"

"Sunset? Is that you?' Moondancer said, "Use Flash, and we'll be able to see in this dump." Sunset's body glowed like a flashlight, revealing all the confused Pokemon around her. "Something's wrong, why wouldn't Twilight come back for us?"

"Something must have happened. She wouldn't just leave us here for no reason!" Spike said. "I haven't been with Twilight for very long like you guys have, but I know that she would never do something like that!"

"Spike is right, we need to get out of this room, and FIND Twilight!" Scootaloo exclaimed, flapping her wings. "But, How are we going to open the door?"

"That's what I want to know." Sunset growled, glaring at it like it was alive. "I don't have usable hooves. These hooves aren't made to open doors."

"Well, Spike can!" Moondancer exclaimed pointing over at Spike, she ran over next to the door. "Spike, get on, I want you to open the door!"

"Right!" He jogged besides Moondancer and leaped up on her head. She reached for the door knob and grabbed it. "Got it!"

"Good, now turn it!" Spike did as was told, but the door wouldn't budge. "It's It's not working! I think it's locked!"

"Damn it!!" Sunset growled, stomping her hoof to the hard floor. "Can't we try busting it open?"

"If we do that We'll break it! And then Twilight has to pay for it." Sweetiebell snickered, she jumped on a nearby table looking for something to open the door with. "Now how to open the door."

"Are there keys around there?" Sunset asked.

"No, what's a key?" Sunset groaned, rolling her green eyes.

"A key, is something Ponies use to open doors. I've seen them use them a lot when opening the doors to their house. I'll look for it and see if I can find it." Sunset looked around the table, getting up on her hind legs and looking at the table more closely. She found nothing on it, she removed her front legs off the table and looked at the door. "There's no key, and if there's no key, then the door is jammed or locked from the outside. So, we might as well bust it open."

"Well, if you say so Sunset." Moondancer mumbled, Spike jumped off of Moondancer and merely stood there.

"Step aside everybody. I'm going to Flame Charge this thing." Sunset said. Everybody got out of the way, waiting for what was to come. Sunset stomped her feet on the ground, her entire body burst into flames. "Flame Charge!!" She yelled, her legs galloping forward on their own and slamming himself against the door. The wooden door fell from it's place and onto the ground on the other side. Sunset slammed into a wall, accidentally hitting her head. "Uhhhhghhhh..."

"You OK Sunset??" Scootaloo flew over to her, looking concerned. The rest came over to her, seeing Sunset a little dizzy.

"I'm fine, we need to worry about Twilight." Sunset said.

"She might have been kidnapped!" Spike suddenly said, and everybody turned to stare at the little dragon, looking as if he grew a second head.

"Don't say that!" Moondancer shouted, her eyes surveying the hallway they were in. "Let's just find her!"

"Wait! Guys!" Sweetiebell said, running out of the room with his Poke Ball in his mouth. "We can't just leave without our Poke Balls!"

"Oh! Right!" They all ran inside to get their respective balls, and were dropping it countless times. "This is going to be difficult, we need something to carry them inside."

"Oh! I think there was a bag in here!" Sweetiebell remembered, zipping back inside the dark room and going to grab a bag. She ran back out with an old waist bag that had a Cyndaquil's colour design on it and placing it on the floor. "Will this do?"

"Yeah, it will." Sunset replied, placing all the items inside the bag. "Can someone close it? I'll carry them."

"I was going to carry it but If you really want to." Moondancer hinted her offer, but Sunset decided she would carry them. Moondancer zipped the bag closed, and then leaped on Sunset, clipping the fastenings together around her back. The strings went around her neck and behind her front legs, almost like a backpack. "Perfect. Let's move!"

"Everyone. Mount up! I'm getting us out of here!" Sunset shouted. All of them rode on Sunset wile Applebloom followed behind, after the last passenger boarded, she ran across the hall with lightning speed. Turning corner by corner with a sharp and brisk curve. She almost bumped into a few Nurses along the way, but he dodged all of them. They were almost out of the Pokémon Center, seeing a few ponies with their Pokémon.

"It's the exit!" Sweetiebell exclaimed. The doors opened automatically. Sunset sprinted out of there, stopping in her tracks after they were outside of the Center. The surveyed the area around them, most of them not recognizing this area. "What is this place?"

"It's Baltmare" Sunset replied. "Here's the plan. I want all of you to split up into pairs, and find her."

"But Won't it be faster if we split up in ones?"

"If there's some problem you would encounter, you would have each others backs. If you were to go alone, you would also get lost, and who knows Scootaloo. Since you're a bird, I want you to fly and search around from the skies."

"Got'cha!"

"Moondancer, I want you to go with Sweetiebell. Spike you're with me and Applebloom. We'll search the left side of the city, and you two search to the right side. We'll all meet up in front of the Pokémon Center when the sun comes down. If any of you see something, use one of the moves that you know and direct it to the sky until we ALL come. Got it?" Everyone nodded. "Alright gang, split up!" They all separated, going their own ways. Scootaloo flew up into the skies, Moondancer n' Sweetiebell to the right and Sunset, Applebloom n' Spike to the left. They searched for countless hours, asking other Pokémon if they've seen their friend. None of them knew, and would apologize afterward. Moondancer was getting frustrated now, getting more anxious and scared.

'Twilight Where are you?' Moondancer thought. Sweetiebell and Moondancer were walking around the city, feeling down and defeated, when suddenly they saw a familiar figure walking. "Wait a second Is that who I think it is??"

"It's Ewww. I don't know who she is." Sweetiebell said, but Moondancer growled in anger.

"I do" Moondancer growled, having a bad feeling about she ran forward on her two legs and jumped on the pony, knocking her down. "OK! I want answers, and I want them NOW!!" But when she saw the pony's face, she was surprised to see that it wasn't the pony she thought it was. "Oh! I'm sorry! I thought you were someone else!"

"Stupid Pokémon! Get off of me!" The mare yelled, pushing Moondancer off of her violently. Moondancer stumbled back, Sweetiebell growled at the pony, who merely stood up and dusted herself. "If it's a fight that you want A fight is what you'll get!"

"Bring it on! Punk!" Sweetiebell snarled.

"Sweetiebell! We aren't looking for fights!"

"She's asking for it!"

"Go! Emboar!" She sent out her Poke Ball. And in replacement, was an even larger version of Tepig. It's neck blazed in fury, looking ready to kill something. It swung it's large arms around, pounding the floor with it's foot.

"Sweetiebell! We're no match for this thing!" Moondancer exclaimed, ready to grab the little fox out of there.

"I can take him on!" Sweetiebell said with this stubborn behaviour that Moondancer has never seen before.

"Emboar! Use Arm Thrust!" The Emboar used it's large arms and thrust them forward to the two Pokémon. Moondancer, thought quickly, grabbing the stubborn Zorua and running off with her. "COME BACK HERE!" The mare yelled, but didn't even bother to follow them. They turned around a corner of a building, but bumped into somebody. They fell back, and looked up to see who it was. The dark figure towered over them, Moondancer looked closer, revealing the figure of Luna.

"You!?" Moondancer yelled, sounding much what Twilight would say.

"Ah Your name is Moondancer Isn't it? And you, Sweetiebell." Luna mumbled, kneeling down on one leg to their level.

"Yeah We were looking for Twilight." Sweetiebell replied, sitting down on the floor. Moondancer turned her round leafed head to the fox, frowning in disapproval.

"Sweetiebell!" She whispered frantically. Sweetiebell returned the look, tilting her head.

"What? Maybe she's seen Twilight!"

"Twilight? She isn't with you?" Luna asked, finding something like that very weird.

"Yeah! She left us in the Pokémon Center and.. She never came back! So we bust out of there and split up to find Twilight!" Sweetiebell told her the entire plan, and then thinking. "Say Have YOU seen Twilight anywhere?"

"The last time I saw her was thirty minutes ago when we were at the Café. She left her hat."

"You haven't seen her since?" Moondancer asked.

"And you two are worried?"

"Of course we are!! You don't know HOW worried we are! We can't find her anywhere!"

"And you're certain you looked everywhere?"

"YEAH!" Suddenly, there was a cry in the sky, and after a few seconds Scootaloo landed on Luna's back.

"Guys I can't find her ANYWHERE." Scootaloo exclaimed. "What if she really was kidnapped??"

"Come on. We have to keep looking! I don't care if I have to search all of Equestria! We have to find Twilight!" Sweetiebell growled. "If we stop now, there's no telling where she might move off to next."

"I'm starting to think that something happened to her!" Moondancer exclaimed.

"Let's track her scent. Maybe we'll find out where she went off to!" Scootaloo suggested.

"Good idea Sweetiebell haves the better nose!" Moondancer said immediately.

"Well, You're lazy" Sweetiebell snickered. Who only laughed in response.

"Luna! Help us look for her!" Sweetiebell shouted. "You have to help us!" Luna hesitated for a moment, but seeing that these Pokémon were desperately in need to find their trainer.

"Alright I shall aid you in finding Twilight. But if we find her, she won't be too excited to see me." Luna said. Not at all knowing the reason why she was complying to their wishes. 'It's only because they asked for my help.' She thought, trying to make herself believe it was that reason only. But there was some other reason, one that she didn't comprehend. That reason alone made her think twice about helping HER Pokémon.

"Let's get looking then!" Scootaloo exclaimed still perched on Luna's back while Luna, Moondancer and Sweetiebell walked. Sweetiebell was sniffing the ground, searching for Twilight's scent.
