Princess Erroria vs. Slowpoke

by pokefreak13

Get Off My Bed!

"Get off of my bed Slowpoke!"

"Slow, Slowpoke."

"Please?"

"Slow."

Princess Erroria stomped her hoof in frustration. It was already two minutes past her bed time and she needed to sleep. However, Slowpoke was breaking the number one rule in the house; pets have to sleep on the floor.

"If you don't get off this instant mister, I'm going to unleash my ultimate power!" The filly informed in her bravest voice. She stood up tall and flared her wings, trying her best to look intimidating.

"Slowpoke." the creature replied with a yawn before rolling over on the blankets.

"Then you leave me no choice." Erroria whispered. She quickly lit up her horn and tried to cast a levitation spell. Slowpoke eyes' widened as he was beginning to levitate off of the warm bed. However, the filly quickly lost her grip. Sending Slowpoke plummeting back onto the bed.

"...poke..." he replied before curling into a ball and falling asleep.

Princess Erroria checked her clock again. She gulped once she saw that it was now five minutes past her bed time. Soon her mother would come into her room to kiss her goodnight. When she sees Slowpoke in the filly's bed...

"Goodbye strawberry waffles." Princess Erroria whispered. Tears began trickling down her face as she imagined her family eating the delicious waffles, while she was stuck eating cold cereal.

"No, I won't let Slowpoke ruin my Fridays!" Erroria whispered loudly. Her eyes blazing with determination, she walked slowly towards her bed. "Sorry it had to end this way, but you forced me to do this." Princess Erroria grabbed the blanket Slowpoke was sleeping on and gave it a powerful yank.

"Slowpoke." The creature growled.

The filly ignored the growl and kept on pulling the blanket. Pleased to see that along with the blanket, Slowpoke was moving off of the bed as well. Then, with a final yank, the blanket fell onto the floor. Dragging Slowpoke with it.

"Slowpoke!" Erroria's pet growled before leaping to it's stubby feet.

"I'm sorry Slowpoke, but rules are rules." Erroria informed before plopping down on her bed. "Hope you can understand that it's not you...well it's kinda mostly has to do with you but you get the point.

The filly let out a yawn before pulling her other blanket over her body. "Goodnight Slowpoke." she whispered before closing her eyes.

Thump

"Slowpoke!"

Princess Erroria opened her eyes and gazed at Slowpoke who was sleeping next to her face.

"This isn't funny." she grumbled. "Mommy's going to be here soon and I'm going to get into a lot of trouble is she sees you on my bed."

Her only response were Slowpoke's snores.

"You're a real pain sometimes." She muttered before getting into a sitting position. "Now. Get. Off. Of. My. Bed!" Erroria wrapped her forelegs around Slowpoke's waist and plopped him onto the floor.

"Slowpoke." the creature growled.

Erroria tried her best to growl back. She really did like her pet Slowpoke, but during the night his other side comes out. She likes to call him Mr. Slowpoke Grumpy Tail since he's always grumpy at night. Princess Erroria's mom tells her that he's just sleepy but she knows better. Slowpoke always sleeps when she goes to school, so he couldn't possibly be that tired at night. No, the only explanation was that Slowpoke has a split personality.

"Slow." Slowpoke said. He placed his front legs onto the mattress and gazed at Erroria with his best puppy dog look.

The filly tried her best to not succumb to Mr. Slowpoke Grumpy Tail's special move. However, that derpy look he gave her was too much. She was about to let him on her bed when the sound of the door opening forced her to break contact.

"Erroria, why aren't you asleep? Tomorrow's a school day." a light pink unicorn with a purple mane and tail asked.

"Hi mom! Mr. Slowpoke Grumpy Tail won't stay off of my bed so I decided to make sure that he stayed off." Erroria answered cheerfully.

The unicorn gave a small smile before walking into her daughter's darkening room. "Come on Slowpoke, time to go to bed."

"Slow." Slowpoke replied before waddling out of the room.

"Are you going to punish him for breaking the number one rule?" Erroria questioned.

Her mother placed a kiss on the filly's forehead. "Don't worry, I'll think of a punishment for him." she whispered before walking towards the door. "Now get some rest."

"Goodnight mom."

"Goodnight sweetie."

Once her mom closed the door, the filly finally gave into sleep. Though, she hoped that her mother would go easy on Slowpoke. After all, it was Mr. Slowpoke Grumpy Tail's fault for breaking the rules, not her sweet Slowpoke's.

Slowpoke snored softly as he slept in his bed by the kitchen table. A smile still plastered on his face. He'd finally done it. He'd finally been able to find out why all of his friends from the pet park love sleeping on their master's bed. Slowpoke couldn't wait for tomorrow to tell them all about it.

Though, he still wondered why the unicorn winged pony always called him Mr. Slowpoke Grumpy Tail at night. He wasn't that grumpy, right?

Maybe I shouldn't have taken Kitty's advice. Growling doesn't get you more hugs. Instead, it does the opposite. He thought to himself before falling into one of his dreamless dreams.
