//------------------------------// // Sunset Leaves // Story: Sunset's Gone // by sapphirebluez //------------------------------// Principal Celestia recoiled back in shock, horrified by Sunset’s decision. “No Sunset please, I’ve began to see you as more of my daughter then a student…I love you Sunset…..” Principal Celestia pleaded falling on her knees with a few tears trickling down her face and squeezing Sunset in a tight hug. Sunset Shimmer however remained a rather stern and fed up look on her face. “Principal Celestia, I love you too, like a mother more than a principal but even if the truth is exposed and people apologize to me, there is not point. What if some other trouble arises and again I am blamed for it again…. I am pretty sure everyone is just dying for me to leave…” “Everyone but me….” Principal Celestia sniffed. Sunset sighed as she pushed the principal away and began to show her the enchanted book in which she used to communicate to Princess Twilight. “Besides it’s MY decision and I can choose my own path….I have living on my own in this world for years now, I can do it again.” Sunset said as she showed the message that Princess Twilight wrote. The principals eyes widened in shock and a small smile formed before a few words escaped her lips. “Okay Sunset Shimmer….I shall give you your ‘withdrawal forms.' Sunset walked down the hall with a rather relieved look and a calm pleasant smile on her face which earned a few curious looks and a couple of raised eyebrows from a few students in the hallways which saw her past them. Even throughout class she had that look and smile on her face as if she seemed in peace and as the school bell rang signaling the end of school, she walked out calmly ignoring the usual whispers and murmurs about her and made her way to Sugarcube Corner the pleasant smile still on her face. As she reached Sugarcube Corner and opened the door to the cafe she spotted the Mane 5 sitting in a group drinking smoothies. Sunset hoped to see them there and she greeted them with a small smile “Well hello girls, how’s things going for you, I hope the Anon-a-Miss thing wasn’t too bad for you to handle” Sunset in a pleasant tone getting the Mane 5’s attention. “Get out of here Sunset, yer not welcome here!” Rainbow told her angrily. “I agree with Rainbow darling, I don’t think I would like to talk to a traitor” Rarity snorted. “Ah agree, we don’t want anything to do with a lyin vermint like you, Sunset!” Applejack said turning here back on Sunset. Pinkie and Fluttershy didn’t even bother to make eye contact or even speak to Sunset. “Oh don’t worry girls, after tomorrow, you won’t be seeing me for awhile.” Sunset said smugly and she went to the cashier, bought some food and made her way outside. This of course puzzled the Mane 5 and made them curious of her words. “Don’t worry guys that traitor is just trying to toy with us.” Rainbow said but with a hint of fear in her voice. The cafeteria of Canterlot High was bustling with noise as students chit-chatted with each other, some minding their own business while others complaint about how Sunset was getting back on being the ‘mean school bully’ starting with the Anon-a-Miss, even though it really wasn’t Sunset. However a certain girl with a huge pink bow on the back oh her head made her way to the front of the cafeteria with a microphone in her hand, beside her was Principal Celestia, Vice-Principal Luna and her Crusader friends Sweetiebelle and Scootallo both looking guilty and miserable. The two principals however were giving her stern looks as if to say ‘It must be done’. Applebloom sighed as her turned on the microphone and began to speak, gaining everyone including the Mane 5’s attention. “Alright yall listen up!!” Applebloom said her voice and and strong. “What in tarnation is mah little sis doing up there! She better not be pulling some sort of new stunt with her and her crusader friends! Applejack said angrily. The cafeteria was now quiet and everyone’s attention was focused on Applebloom as she continued to speak. “If yall think this is funny ah suggest you leave, if not ah will!!” Appleboom said sternly. Nobody moved from their seats. “Good because ah think yall deserve the truth….AH AM ANON-A-MISS!!” Applebloom said. The cafeteria was silent and soon chuckles and laughter began to arise. “If you’re Anon-a-Miss, prove it!” “Listen kid, you sound convincing did you go for acting classes or something?” “Look at her so innocent and sweet! I don’t believe she can pull something off like that!” The cafeteria was now in an uproar of laughter as students continued telling Appleboom that she was a great actor and just trying to taunt Sunset Shimmer. This angered Applebloom to no bounds and even the principals and her crusader friends were starting to get worried for her. EVEYBODY BE QUIET OR AH WILL GIVE YALL A ONE HELL OF A TARTURUS!! Everyone in the cafeteria became quiet with a look of shock or fear or even both combined. They had never seen Applebloom so angry before for her face was red and her nostrils were flaring. Even the principals were shocked at her outrage. Applebloom then took a deep breath and calmed herself and continued speaking but with anger in her voice. “Ah am telling yall the truth and ah can prove it!!” Applebloom growled and she whipped out her phone and soon buzzes or ringing sounds could be heard from the students pockets and they opened the phones with shaking hands and saw more humiliating photos or blog posts about them. Soon students began to look and feel horrified while others were outraged had made of accusing an innocent person and wanted to march to Applebloom and give them a piece of their mind. Guilt rushed over everyone like a tsunami as reality came to past. But most of all was the Mane 5 as they realized what a horrible mistake they hade made. “Ah am so-so sorry for what ah have done and ah am ready for any punishment yall have installed for me.” Applebloom cried as she dropped the microphone and fell onto her knees sobbing violently. “Ah am sorry….so so sorry Sunset……” The hallway was noisy for there were a stampeding of boots as the Mane 5 ran across the school searching for Sunset in hope of finding her in one of the classes or by some lockers, but she was not there. As they ran, all they could say was “What have I done. What have I done. What have I done” and trying to refuse the fact that Sunset Shimmer has actually left school. Their last hope was to find Sunset’s locker which would proof whether she actually left school or not, but as they reached they were greeted a horrific sight before them. Sunset’s locker was empty, cleaned out of everything that she ever had indicating what Sunset said was true and her words had come to past and she had left school.
